I have to agree with the rest of the comments here. This is a case in which we have two sides of a story, but not much else to go on. It seems that Solo was belligerent after being arrested, but we don't know anything else for sure. I certainly wouldn't agree with any of the claims in OP's title until a court case finds her guilty, if they ever even bring it to trial.

Not to stir the pot too much, but wouldn't that then mean that this isn't a gender issue? I mean, suicide is terrible and one death is too many. But it seems like the concern should be attempt rate, not success rate.

Pure speculation, but I'd imagine many who might be suicidal hold out hope that college will be better. Or at least post high school will be better.

Vassar college does co-ed bathrooms and it works fine. I honestly don't know why everyone doesn't just do that. What really confuses me is the places that have separate men's and women's rooms, but then the room is just a single use room. Why not just have two non-labeled bathrooms?

What is the male version of TwoXChromosomes? This sub is the male version of Feminism, so what would you like to be the equivalent default? Also, semi unrelated but the front page of TwoX currently has an article about male rape on it if anyone wants to read.

This is the one claim with no link and a google search tells me there are 22 female CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. So which is it?

Fair enough. Here is the important part of the article: There's not much official information about the lecture, which was advertised primarily through neon green flyers tacked up in academic buildings. According to a change.org petition that's been circulating through the student body: Students who have met with him have said his talk will center around his belief that sexual assault is not a big issue in the United States and Geneseo and that the statistics are overblown. He also stated to the…

Not a fan of this site but it was the most information I've been able to find about the talk that wasn't facebook status yelling about sexism.

No, it was one of several houses that the landlord owned, with the whole house being available for rent

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
