This is really good advice. And yes, it is possible to be too intimidating. I think that the balance you describe would probably work. And I think for the most part, women do want men to have masculine qualities, but they are turned off by extreme alpha or macho personalities. However, there are still some women who are very drawn to that. But like Umbran_scale said, you'll do better if you think of appealing to your 'ideal demographic' and then going from there (though you should always keep …

Woman here. Most of these suggestions are good, but i disagree with two of them. First, I would be personally put off by a clear condom jar not in a bedroom. Most people keep that in their nightstand or dresser drawer near their beds. If it's not there, then it DOES look like you're wanting it to be conspicuous. Secondly, coloring book and crayons? This objection is much smaller than the first. Anyway,I know adult coloring is in, but it's not sexy. And people who are into it rarely use crayons. …

I'm sorry. That sucks. There are never guarantees, but those kinds have things have usually (but not always) worked for me.

Yeah, I think that being low-key about your wealth will help. Also, don't spend too much money on her at first. Not that you shouldn't pay for dates...but you don't have to go to the nicest, most expensive places. A quality woman will care about your character and the TIME and EFFORT you put into her. She will care about the things that money can't buy. Look for someone with her own career and ambitions. A red flag is someone who asks you to buy her material things.

Yes, I second the above comment. Also flirt with him by smiling and touching him (arm, back, whatever). Don't worry about your body. Usually men are more forgiving than women are with their individual bodies.

I think it's great to make female friends, but make those boundaries clear. Or if it's just a hookup, make that very clear. I wouldn't advise mixing the two; it just gets too messy. Just be decent and don't lead her on to think that your relationship is more than it is. --- As far as attraction goes, don't settle but also keep an open mind. What I mean is - don't just pursue an 'ideal type.' You might discover that you find a lot of different kinds of women attractive. There's so much more to at…

Yes. As a female reader, I definitely second "failure to escalate"/lack of sexual confidence and assertiveness. Most women want to feel desired by men and want them to take the lead in that department. But please look for body language and signals. And don't push *too* hard; otherwise, you'll find yourself in a rape-y gray area.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
