A long time ago I had something similar happen: Dude I really liked was actually clinically depressed and avoided telling me for a month. We used to have mutual friends, and even they knew. I confronted him after a month of dating. He “offered” me to just meet and “hang out” and obviously have sex. He’s just too depressed for more commitment. Oh, but you are not too depressed to fuck?! 🤣 Mind you, we were talking every day, meeting up for dinner, he always paid… Luckily I was already on my FDS j…

It’s great that the other women recognised her behaviour as desperate and indirectly sided with you. Unfortunately you see too many people believing the “smear campaign”

Women age faster around LVM and being in stressful toxic relationships - I’m not talking about the physical part of aging necessarily, it’s like they become these stressed out closed-minded people with LVM! Every other woman I have seen with HVM or single 35+ has looked amazing, with a fun fashion style and a great young at heart personality. Men suck the life out of you!

Definitely met some where I believed it enough, I was even in a relationship with a few men that openly expressed disgust towards it. There is no way of confirming this of course, but let’s assume it was true… they were still LVM! 🥲 Oh, and bad in bed. There is no way to know if they are lying or not tho, so it’s best to assume even if they don’t watch it they are bombarded with pornographic-adjacent imagery all the time on the internet.

This is always very tricky. A lot of “friends” just want someone to validate their feelings and not necessarily be given actual advice, especially if it attacks their own egos. Small example: I had a very similar situation with an ex-friend. We were not very close but close enough. She always complained about her bf and cheated on him, then would be all lovey-dovey with him in public. It went so far that her bf caught her cheating. I gave her some advice, mostly that she is stuck in a toxic rela…

Was going to say this until you answered the comment. So many women say that to other women! Makes me actually mad, a man calling me a man hater is just acting on his narcissism, but a woman... oh well can’t help a pickme

They feel so personally attacked when you voice your principles and standards too, even if you weren’t directly talking to them. Pickmes will always write you off as a “man-hater”. Ok bye! You can have allll of the scrotes for yourself!

Two of my exes absolutely insisted they never watch porn. Unfortunately I can tell you it does not necessarily make a man better in bed! Lol Yes not watching porn showed in their general behaviour compared to pornisck men, however they also had other problematic behaviours. So just not watching porn is not a clear sign of him being a HVM.

If you’re wondering if one if his behaviours is a bad sign then trust your intuition. On a slightly unrelated note, a completely LVM ex of mine always asked for a “got home safe” text, even when he was trying to treat me like trash. So keep your eyes open always.

Unfortunately there’s no way to know before you try to feel it through clothes or actually see it with your own eyes. Generally though, if a man brags about size or his abilities or how many girls he’s getting - he has one on the smaller side. Or he’s at least an extremely bad lover.

Yeah went through this once and he would tell me things like : „I would go anywhere in the world with you“, „The best thing to ever happen to me was meeting you“, „I can’t wait to have a future together and marry you“ I fell for it 🤦‍♀️ as I was inexperienced and no one had ever given me that type of attention before. I would call it a mix of an experienced and seasoned manipulative love bomber and a huuuge ego on his part. Sidenote - after we broke up he told me he never fell in love with me! L…

“Successful” is defined by your standards only. Don’t let others decide for you what is desirable or have a say in your personal aesthetic. In the end, it’s YOUR life and you need to be the one happy with yourself! If a man judges you because of the way you decide to present yourself - he’s as judgmental towards everyone else and will bring you down constantly with that miserable closed-minded controlling negative energy. So boy bye 👋 Professionally it really depends on your location and industr…

Thinking back I never felt that I have to compete against other women, in the looks and male attention part, that is. I always got weird looks and attitudes for my viewpoint and demeanour around this since a young age. People are just so bothered when a woman does not care about this and lives her life in peace. Luckily now I only have great female friends and don’t even give people, men or women, the time of the day if they even try starting this “women competing against each other” narrative 🥱…

This happened so much. If you're into theater and leftist-socialist movements look up world-famous Bertolt Brecht, also often described as a "genius". His abuse and hypergamy was well-known since decades, only recently I found out that a lot of his work stems from Elisabeth Hauptmann (and also other women working in his surroundings that he abused into being his "lovers"): "She purportedly wrote the majority of the text as well as providing a German translation of John Gay's "The Beggar's Opera"…

Power to you FDS sister. This sounds like my childhood growing up to a T :o down to the details... also the training to be silent wow. Being „independent“ but always kicking us to the curb as soon as some trash man showed her attention smh. So she was only financially independent. Looking back she was clearly abusive, when we grew up and didn’t „love“ her anymore (as kids do) she just stopped caring about us. Until this day she only has childhood pictures of us around and regularly cries bc we „…

Hey, I used to be in your situation some time ago. I got the confirmation from someone I knew that the posts with his new “perfect gf” were all just a show. Even if you don’t have this confirmation, be sure that this will almost always be the case. I started empathizing with HER a lot (yes I did a bit of online stalking I admit). After finding out who she is, personal info, family background, I just felt... sad for her. That she met this asshole, my ex. He’s posting these things for himself, for…

Ok this reminds me of a recent story. Met a guy on bumble, his profile said he wants a relationship, mine too, cool we meet up. Conversation goes well and we keep talking the following days (he even called me frequently). Around his birthday he stops talking to me and I just think 🤷‍♀️ Whatever. 2 weeks later I meet up with a female friend and one of her friends I didn’t meet before joins us. My friend asks her if she’s still meeting that guy, she gives some details that match with the guy I was…

I have never even set foot in the USA but I can tell you it's not an "American" thing only. Maybe the actual manifestations of this type of mindset appears in different forms (religious, cultural, etc), but it's the same base thought in a looot of countries. I would argue that a lot of countries are being influenced by the USA more and more. Let's take baby showers and halloween - not a thing at all in the countries I grew up in (and I'm in my 20s and I lived in several places across the globe).…

Let her be. She is clearly unhappy being alone and can’t stand herself when she’s not with some guy giving her validation. She prefers a shitty LVM messing up her life over being single. Let that sink in. Seriously I wouldn’t talk to her anymore, my patience nowadays is 0! She probably felt really smug saying that to you too, ugh....

Thank you for this wonderful summary, you are very eloquent! Also, no matter how much of a pickmeisha you were, there always exists something called KINDNESS in a human heart. If the scrote didn't even have the heart to be kind to you he will never be a good person, no matter with whom.

After a huge disappointment with someone who seemed really so 100% sincere, I take EVERYTHING men say with a grain of salt. As long as they don't act like it, my anwer is usually "uh-huh" and walk away. If they actually do it then.... different question. This goes for friends, colleagues, any male acquaintance really.

I wonder a lot. It seems a lot of them, even if they genuinely claim to love you, just see you as an extension of themselves and their values. How many times did a man treat me worse than one of his friends, even though he claimed to love me more than anyone lese? (Not speaking of a specific example from my life, but what I have experienced almost always) A long time ago I saw some threads somewhere on the internet full of men claiming that women are the ones unable to love as deeply as them and…

This post called me out lol! Used to date a well-known rock star from my home country „seriously“ - or that’s what he made me believe. He was the one who pursued me like crazy and initiated all of the relationship talk. In hindsight I clearly recognize it was love-bombing and future faking. I never knew what he was up to and he would call me at the most random times, I did soo many small things (or things that I considered small that now I see was me trying to impress him) for him in the hopes h…

Always hated this type of „advice“! Not only is it really misogynistic, I always kind of felt bad when people said it because my mother doesn’t take care of her appearance that well because of constant abuse and pressure from being a pickme in relationships with LVM for her whole life. While I am quite proud of my style and appearance and intend to keep it that way. So you want to judge my mother? Let‘s look at your beer-bellied scrote dad then!

Wow I couldn't get through the video and I usually don't have a problem seeing heavy movies or documentaries. Just the descriptions. Clicked away so fast I was so repulsed. Men take one of the deadliest mental illnesses for women and fetishize it. I feel so disgusted.

Depends greatly on your friend and what kind of friendship you have with her. Nevertheless, people like that are difficult to be willing to compromise, especially being as vocal about her pickme behaviours as you describe it. She will only feel attacked if you try to have an open discussion with her (in my experience). The most telling sign for me is that you're feeling exhausted and that should be enough for you to distance yourself from her. There will be probably more behaviours about her tha…

I'm very sure my ex is just putting up a façade for his new gf while he cheats behind her back, wether it be physically or emotionally (because of corona, if there wouldn't be a pandemic 100% physically). Old habits die hard and the ego of these people is huuuge. One day he uploads so many pictures with corny captions, the next day they are all gone, it's a weird cycle. He needs that sweet vapid validation from women all the time. I blocked him a long time ago bc he was STILL texting me even tho…

There are already good answers to your question here! I found myself in this position not a long time ago and didn’t really know what to do as I always had well-adjusted friends. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. Even giving advice is too much looking back now, either they simply won‘t listen or - in the worst case - demonize you for supposedly being arrogant, feeling superior or simply just trying to involve yourself into their life/these particular situations in general. In the end, …

It only happened once that I wanted to do this. I took a very deep breath and focused on all the worst things he ever did to me. He really really wronged me on a major fucked-up level. And then I thought... "he would like to know what I'm doing and how I'm feeling. He wants to keep that door open. He doesn't deserve to know even one thing about me!"And it worked. Blocked and deleted him. I am still struggling from trust issues out of this whole situation, but I am so incredibly proud of myself f…

Really feel you! They just won't accept us into "normal" society even though "we" strive for higher education, respectable jobs (not saying other jobs are not respectable, but I'm talking about "spheres" where you wouldn't expect to find someone with an immigrant background) like any person in any other country. Had some really weird commentary at my jobs and universities. It's really hard to break into these circles. And then the dating part... well. There's a reason I don't have any friends fr…

😂😂 In hindsight it is so funny right?? I remember being pissed with all of these comments that were meant to hurt my self-esteem. But then I recognized that a) she felt somehow attacked by my principles/standards and was trying to pull me down on her level and b) she was a bad friend anway.

Good for you! Always keep your standards high. It doesn't make sense them judging so much because the sex is usually shit, why do they make such a big thing out of it? It's really just to show off how "desirable" (aka availbale to LVM) they are.

Interesting to read so many similar experiences. Something close to this happened to me too, also LDR (never again), broke up with me over text! saying he met someone else. He was trash enough to try and keep the door open, saying stuff like "just for the moment", "who knows what will happen in the future". An ex-friend of mine asked me that frequently and it always rubbed me the wrong way. She somehow made it sound as if I was being "picky", i.e. prudish and stuck up. Well yes honey I have high standards I always told her, to which she never answered to. Turns out she was lying to me about a lot of things about her seriously messy life and used male attention to fill that void.

WTF, I stopped right there when she started talking about your mom. How dare she? I would have had to control myself so hard not to slap her! But you did right in telling her off and cutting contact. It's always crazy to see how pickmes defend the stupidest of men that play literally a very small or no role at all in their lives (and in this case, most of your surroundings seem to outright hate) just for that sweet superficial male validation. That's why it's important to keep empowered queen fr…

I'm not from your country but I have a lot of friends there. They started a conversation about it with me and they were all very shocked, my male friends also expressing disgust with this situation (we are a bit older than the people on the video though).
