Another male nursing student here, and thankfully i've never had to deal with a situation like that. There have been a bunch of small things that make me realize that i'm not part of the group though. At a RNAO (regional) meeting, everyone was given some schwag, ie. stationary. OK, so what should i say after a girl says, "Sorry i have a BF"? To me it's such an awkward moment and i would just freeze up. I don't even mind the rejection part as much, but the awkward moment of silence after that makes me cringe.

The problem is identifying girls like you, and snobs. Also the fear of rejection or them having a BF.

Carrying a conversation is my biggest issue. After intros, what sort of questions do you like being asked? Where do you want to see the conversation going? Some guys start with "so what do you do for a living?" Doesnt seem very organic to me.

My line up includes: Daily LaCoste (gray bottle) Burberry Touch Weekends Paco Rabanne - Black XS Dunhill -Desire (red bottle) Dolce and Gabbana - The One And these guys are right, some colognes that smell great on my friends, don't smell as good on me. I prefer a light scent for my daily cologne, and i use a stronger scent for the weekends, to combat bar/club smells.

That's a bit harsh. She was interested, and tried her luck. I wouldn't go so far as to say she was acting desperate. You worked some Kino on her, wouldn't that be a mixed signal?
