Therapy. Cry when you’re feeling upset. Channel that anger into the true emotion you’re feeling, usually fear/sadness (ask yourself, why am I angry? Deep down you might just fear being abandoned again) rather than drowning it out or taking it out on someone. I know it’s hard to face the pain but tears make it better It’s always deeper than anger. thefemininewoman.com has great ideas

They’re assholes who use manipulation tactics and ideology to get their way. Evil is often done under the guise of “morality”, which is the type of culture that’s growing everyday in North America

I think its okay to disagree as long as you arent being disrespectful or overbearing about it.

What i said, like meet new people and find something you’re obsessed with or makes you feel good like going to the gym, playing sports, an art club or something. Try to empathize with his need for space and give him EXACTLY that, by filling up your time with other things. He’ll notice your absence (its not a bad thing) and miss you. Just fill your life up so that you don’t feel like you need him in an unhealthy way. You can bring that energy back to the relationship and make him feel lucky to be…

Make him miss you, do other things separate from him and reward him when he does more for you

U think so? Interesting translation 😂 ((Thats partly the answer i was going for— the part that i do like him))

nah it should be for yourself to look good. others play a role in that cuz they appreciate it. but its for that purpose for YOU to look good lmao. Theres a difference between putting on makeup for a guy to like you vs. putting on makeup cuz u wanna feel confident and appreciated, he plays a role but at the end of the day if u felt like it you’d be okay walking out with little to no makeup. thats the confidence needed Wearing it “for” others would be like “i dont wanna burden others with my natur…

This. It makes him dynamic and less one-dimensional. And i suppose a good potential partner as vulnerability is important in relationships

As to male/female.. could be ur nurturing or motherly instincts i guess and feeling feminine cuz ur taking care of gentler things ig. He’s ur lab partner though, have you guys flirted at all?

Maybe u feel like he needs you for something and special cuz he doesnt seem the type to need anyone. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe this working together dynamic reminds you of a couple-dynamic or baby-rearing process cuz either partner has their own strengths and stuff and its romantic to you

Search up love languages, there are other ways to show love to your partner that they might receive better

Okay interesting. But how do you know if thats what they want? Do i just sit there and pretend like there isnt a bill coming? I just dont know what to do in those scenarios, but i guess i could figure it out once i get to that stage with a guy

Ahh ive done that entitled bullshit before cuz of some bad advice 😬 Gonna change this for the next man 😤 Yeah i won over my ex making him food and pastries.. Romance inspires to do stuff like that 😅 Noted, Ima offer

Ahh so u ask to split right? Im just hoping it doesnt give friendzone vibes. What if its small like ice cream? U just get ur own?

Ive just noticed im so unnatural on dates bc i used to be insecure abt whether a guy will pay or not but i realize its better to offer. With friends its easy cuz i just pay for myself or pay for both of us. Idk how to apply this to dating but i guess i could find a balance

I’ve had this happen to me and i just realized it a year later. I lost my v earlier than i should have because i felt pressured to. I blocked her

I guess i do want a family haha, thats a great idea for me to think far like that, i didnt rly think of it that way :) Thank you so much 😭😭 that really means a lot to me, i know my weakness is caring too much about external opinions. I think i can figure this out, thank you for believing in me 💜💜

Really? Thats cool we had similar thought processes. I didnt consider business, any specific title for ur masters? Ive thought about HR before or industrial psych, whats it about? How did u decide on a masters in business?

Thank you so much this is super helpful 💜 Ive been wanting to just get work experience after i graduate, i just face a lot of pressure from my family to go to grad school NOW, because they have so many discouraging predictions about me if i dont🤦🏻‍♀️ I suppose i have adopted their fear that i might get “lazy” and not come back to school if i dont start grad school asap 🙄 I think i can apply next year or so Also theyre toxic af, so I figure if i get a degree sooner i can be independent sooner. Hmmmm all i got is when in doubt, positive reinforcement is cool. Like if u see a hint of him eating better or exercising be like “wow babe that’s hot” or comment on how strong he is or some shit lmao If the rest feels like nagging then positive reinforcement is probably the way to go.

That sounds rly difficult. He’s not making it easy that’s for sure. Have u considered not living with him for a bit so he can figure shit out? Maybe staying wit ur parents? I’m not sure if that would make things better or worse but it’s an idea

Dude dont even worry, its super difficult and it sucks that the pressure is put on us to wait 😞😞 even tho both people want to do it,, its so tough Watch elliot scott 6-8 paid dates rule. Take it with a grain of salt but i think its helpful. The one time i said id only have sex in a relationship, it backfired because A. I found out what hes really like in the relationship which i could have found by just spreading out our dates across more time and B. He EXPECTED sex for the rest of the relations…

Maybe prioritize how he’s feeling and going through shit before what you need from him. If you can help him through this a. Youre showing u care about him not just the relationship and b. You’ll get your manz back Ok actually reading ur post again it does sound rly tough, but man i hope yall can work something out. I know my friend liked someone who got injured during quarantine and seems like that shits tough cuz he ghosted her despite them hitting it off. Just reminded me of that.

Making them wait is ok, if they care more about knowing you. At least according to elliot scott. I dont know for sure but i trust him sometimes His concept is basically if a guy wants a ltr with you, he will see sex as an abundant thing in the future, rather than something he needs to get from you in the short term. This hvm shit with the “if i invest i need to see returns” — that doesnt need to be sex! U can flirt, touch, kiss, laugh together.. you have other things to offer the guy in the mean…

It doesnt matter with the right guy. But if you want to weed out guys that arent in it for you, wait til the fifth date

Read thefemininewoman.com Idk if its legit but i trust them personally Remember its ok for u to make the first move but its mostly signalling on the womans part so u dont waste ur time. Etc etc ( but being genuine is more important) Are u being genuine (not like spilling all the beans but like truly being u)? Are u bringing your natural energy and playfulness to the table? Know that men dont seek a perfect woman, its most important to be yourself and set good boundaries but also while channeling…
