Additionally, most of the feminists you know would also likely not have that much of a real problem with MRA. The "feminists" that people in this sub generally rail against ARE the R2W/3W feminists. Like the original comment said, MRA essentially inherited classical liberal feminism. Classical liberal feminists are probably who you know in real life.

Not trying to be contrarian, and I'm pretty prepared for the downvotes, but this results from a pretty capitalist view of the way things should begin: with an equality of opportunity. Oof. I've been reading some bell hooks and I'm surprised she would say that. I knew it was going to be a struggle when a sentence began with "Certainly from the standpoint of white supremacist capitalist patriarchy," I was really concerned. I'm glad that you pointed this out. I had no idea how to phrase the sentiment that you expressed, which is that even true, methodologically sound statistics can advance just about any cause they want, depending on their interpretation. People's inability or unwillingness to look critically at statistics and how they're used is incredibly frustrating for me to see.

I know that this me nit-picking, but I wish we could start using "RadFems" or "SRS-types" or something else to differentiate actual egalitarian feminists from the crazy ones. Good point. I was thinking about this later after I commented, and I think I would like it more if the front view had them holding the opposite implements. Trying to say something like, men appear and can be aggressive on the front side of things, but women are just as capable.

Regardless of how things go with this (it all seems sketch as shit), I'm of the opinion that doxxing people is shitty, regardless of their affiliation with radical feminists, reddit, etc. I just changed accounts because too many people IRL knew my account on here, and I just choose to keep the two separate.
