wtf? it's been a while since i've been in here and i really can't believe responses like these or maybe i can. these people seem to act like they know when there are just playing it out in their head and have no fucking clue. not saying that i do, but i would never shoot down someone who clearly has better success than i do and speak totally bs. keep it man, sounds like your doing good, thanks for the insights..

I'm in California, and where I live if she is drunk and you aren't and you tried to take her home to fuck her that is technically rape, and at the very least unethical. Maybe not the case where you are at but I thought you should know. It woulda been best to get her number and try again later.

If I'm not mistaken, all the blue zones have diets rich in fish (omega 3 source). My source was a college nutrition class taught by a PhD who said several times that it would be very beneficial to take omega 3 sups if you weren't eating other sources. It was good for inflammation and it was one of the very few things our body needed that it could not produce on its own.

I disagree, you need Omega 3 and the only way to get it if from a few select foods or a supplement.

One time a friend and I went to a club and I told him I had an idea for a new game called "Blow out Rodeo". The point of the game is to see he can get blown out the fastest. You don't act rude or stupid, you just see who can get rejected the fastest, and that's the winner. It was actually kinda fun.

It's all about body language, listening skills, and being extremely nonjudgemental. If you want to have better social skills, the group dynamic is a big piece of the puzzle. It's very intimidating but it's a skills that you will need the rest of your life, so...I wouldn't brush it aside just because it's hard. Hard is good, that is where you make real shit happen. How do you do it? you do it a couple hundred times...fuck up a lot, pay attn to what works, and then you will know how it works. What…

Become the kind of person who is comfortable talking to groups of people. Every day try to talk to a group of people and talk to new people whenever you can. You will learn fast about what works and what doesn't...then go and talk to this group and the girl you want to talk to. The shortest path often seems the longest.

I remember being by the kegs puring drinks, you are all of a sudden granted master of ceremony or something. May be a psychological trick at play. Girls are coming to get beer and you treat it as they are just approaching you, so you open them in a very natural way and everyone is at fine with that.

My friend was talking to a girl at a bar, when he looked away i whispered in her ear "you have toilet paper on your shoe" she looked down in horror and thanked me. They just got engaged.

I find some of it to be very contradictoy and have a tough time reconciling that sometimes. Such as fashion, masters probably have zero interest in fashion and yet fashion seems to play a big part of game. Also leading, seems to be a another contradiction. . I think i've been able to apply the tao to a lot of social circle dynamics stuff. also use it a lot at work and that has helped a lot.

I love Stephen Mitchell's translation, he also wrote a second book called The 2nd Book of the Tao...also amazing. I got both of those on audiobook and have listened to them at least 20 times.

After learning some game I found myself in a LTR for 3 years. I was so blown away by how much i had improved over just one year that i had a hard time hanging up my spurs. I decided i would continue to focus on my social skills. I would do what i could to become a social genius. As i improved i realized that i did end up settling and eventually got out of that relationship. And now i have a great social circle and and working on game again. One thing i really got into was the Tao, it has changed…

actually not bad at all. my sets weren't going bad, they just weren't going great so i would bail. i figured maybe i'd stay in longer just to see what would happen, and not much happened after that except they would say bye and leave or just turn and leave. i guess what i learned was it wasn't a big deal at all. i really didn't care or feel any loss. one time i was at a club outside and two people came up pretty close to me, a guy and a girl and i said 'hey whats up?" they kinda just looked at m…

Good job man, i actually went through a phase where i decided to stay in sets longer than normal to the point where i wasnt going to walk away, they were goin to have to. I was getting the feeling that i was bailing on sets too early. Good stuff.

When i meet girls and they ask me what my name is on facebook, i love the look on their face when i tell them i dont use facebook. I do have an acct that i use to find local events but i only have about ten close friends added on there. I think some people can use facebook well to their advantage when it comes to dating, and awesome for them. I find it super lame when people are out at a social event checking their feed though.

It doesnt matter what you say, just keep approaching to get your anxiety under control and eventually youll develop confidence. Then you will stand out as an attractive person and be moving towards your goal. Dont think too much. Once you get more comfortable in your own skin what to say will just flow.

For all you know her car was in the shop, you are kinda over thinking minor details. I know because we all do this at first. When she talked over you, yes i would have taken it as a good sign, you got her talking about something she was really into. I wouldve straight up asked her how old she was, who cares if it looks like youre hitting on her. Kudos for getting out there and keep on approaching.

How to feel excited about life? This morning i woke up and started dancing and laughing at myself for no real reason other than im enjoying life. I believe a couple books pointed be i. The right direction - the power of now by eckart tolle the tao te ching translated by stephen mitchell (also on audiobook at itunes) These two really changed my perceptions about how i go about my way.

Some questions i ask a lot: did you go out last night? (If its a saturday) did you come from somewhere else first tonight or did you come straight here (to this venue or party) vodka or tequila? (This is not an offering, just a question of preference and not a out of left field question, use in context) so are you good at math? (Ace for first few weeks of math class, used this at least ten times already and always good. And always make fun of them when they say no) what'd you do for nye? ( alway…

I made a lot of mistakes in my last LTR, one thing i did well was to continue to work a lot on my social skills and growing my social circle. I know a lot of guys who fall off the map after getting into a serious relationship.

I've been sober almost 13 months. Last year I wanted to do something major for my new years resolution and decided to quit smoking weed and drinking for one year. I've saved a ton of money and even joined AA to help out with this...wasn't sure if I had a potentially serious problem or not, come to find out I probably don't and am looking forward to having my first beer in almost 400 days on Super Bowl Sunday. yo Jordan, just heard your interview with Gary Vaynerchuk and thought it was amazing - keep up the good work.. i'm currently in a zone where i'm not really looking for hooking up with any girls, i've been modestly learning game for the last 3 years and have had some successes, i currently feel like i am very satisfied being single, hanging out with friends, going to school etc. have you ever heard of this happening before or am i just justifying not trying to learn game every week. i think i'm g…

Great post man! thought i'd mention some things i've done over the last couple years that help w my confidence and wasn't directly gaming related - toastmasters, AA (not approach anxiety lol, just wanted to go a whole year without drinking im at ten months right now), improv classes, meditated with buddhist monks, my place isn't big but it's really nice - very feng shui.

these two books changed everything about how i communicated with people - 'how to win friends and influence people' and 'people skills' i've read them more than once and highlighted the shit outta them. the main things i learned from them was to be an EXCELLENT listener, let them do most the talking, reflect back to them, what NOT to say and rapport. Not necessarily pua tactic stuff but great for rapport, social circle, family, coworker, etc...
