Good post but I disagree with MOOC thing. When I was a sweet little beta, I was doing lots of MOOCs just because of it was MOOC. I was active in the forum and what not. But MOOC courses are often really introductory and useless, depending on your career. I'd suggest to skip that and read a book instead. Its clearer and more through. Don't be a perfectionist. Especially regarding your academic life. Most perfectionists have either close to 100% marks or barely pass the course. Never in between. Instead of a perfect project grade, think "How can I get the most mark with the least time invested"? Academic life is not the most important thing in college, networking is.
