Or maybe average/unattractive borderlines don’t escalate as much because their shit is less tolerated and they get called on it more. They may have less leeway to act out/be forced into treatment faster before they really reach spectacular levels.

I would also say that BPD individuals tend to easily identify those who will fall for their bullshit - RP guys may tend to have qualities that make them easily taken advantage of by these people - maybe a bit more accepting of BS because they don't have a good sense of boundaries, etc.

Oh yeah she's pretty hot. So I get the initial attraction, and even the tolerance for some crazy (especially if the crazy didn't end with a course of antibiotics) but this going on for over a year is bizarre.

Oh dude, his entire friend network has done everything they can to separate them but all it takes is her showing up weeping and pounding at the door and she's back in. I pointed out to him that they've been "broken up" and her "not living" at his house for like 3 months but she hasn't bothered to get an apartment of her own or any of her stuff out of his house because she knows she can work her way back in. She uses us trying to help him as fodder too - "Your friends hate me and it's so hard to …

I used to have no idea, but then my male best friend started dating a woman that turned out to have BPD. Their relationship now reads like a red-pill fantasy tale gone wrong. She has: cheated on him repeatedly with the same guy, for over a year. She claims she doesn't even like this guy but has flown overseas to go on vacation with him and met his kids. was caught fucking the other guy in a hotel room two days after meeting with a couples counselor and declaring her intent to try and work throug…

Typically in these scenarios additional legislation helps to enforce the provider operating one practice. Many require things like hospital admitting privileges, etc.

It's not integral, you're not a bad person if you don't have female friends. In my social circles, however, everyone tends to have friends of both sexes. Whenever there has been drama, it has been because someone from outside the circle dates in, isn't comfortable with their girlfriend having guy friends (or vice versa, doesn't want their boyfriend hanging out with other women), and then causes drama because the person in question doesn't stop seeing the friends they had before. It can also be a…

Well yes, in general those who are too poor to pay don't pay for things. That's true regarding child support and pretty much everything else.

It makes sense then that child support would be much higher - Sweden's socialized healthcare programs remove some of the medical burden of raising a child. It looks like they also have government run preschools and provide more parental support/leave.

My husband (we were together 10 years) was 5'5" and my current boyfriend (together 5 years) is 5'5". He's definitely slightly shorter than me but WAY stronger than me, no matter height. It has never occurred to me to consider him weak. I think all people have something that bothers them about their size, shape, or personality, and other people can be dicks about it. It's hard not to be insecure, but try not to be. Think about how insecure someone has to be to bring it up - it doesn't affect them…

I'm 5'6". (So not tall) I also dated a guy who was 5'1" but broke it off because he was obsessed about his height and joked about it constantly.

Only if it was something they obsessed over and reviewed often. I've got a scrapbook from my last marriage, and my boyfriend has his wedding album floating around somewhere. Those weren't all bad times, it's nice to sometimes look through and remember the good.

I don't know that it's common, but in every group there's going to be some idiots. Usually it's guys that just have their head in a hole in the ground that don't realize that caring for multiple toddlers alone all day doesn't make wifey hot to trot when he walks in the door -- it makes her want to have an hour to herself alone in the bathroom drinking wine.

Can you remind me when that quotation was attributed to you? I was using a tongue-in-cheek example of the kind of anecdata that is frequently "cited" in PPD (which is what your original question asked).

I get where they're coming from - just saying something has a study that backs it up doesn't make good claims or good science. But I think they're on board when I explain my intent is that you can actually look at the science, vs. people giving anecdata on reddit and trying to extrapolate the entire world's population based on 3 chicks their friend banged haha.

Funnily enough it does not, because nothing in the book claims that. In fact, nothing in the gender studies deals with partner count at all. But if I get to the part where it says that you should, I'll let you know the source it gives.

Not much of the course deals with assault, tbh. It's only got one chapter and we haven't gotten there yet. This course focuses on communication and gender in society. The statistic they report is "One-third of undergraduate women report one or more unwanted sexual interactions, ranging from kissing to intercourse, during a single year." (Crown and Roberts, 2007) Skimming the assault/violence chapter, the focuses are: Gender intimidation Rape (including how difficult it is for men who have been r…

There is potential. Having a source doesn't justify everything, obviously. But I'm then able to go back, look at the study, see what other studies in the area have done (and in fact, that's a large portion of the class - do you agree with this? provide additional sources to back this viewpoint), and then shape your viewpoint. "My ex totally dated someone taller than me because she's a slut" is a less sourced claim, unfortunately.

I'm taking a gender course currently as part of my larger degree and so far nothing I've read here makes me question what I've read there. Everything we've ready is heavily sourced. It also has sections dedicated to men's issues and the men's rights movements.

considering how many people see "hi" as a catcall I have never yet met a woman who thought "hi" was a catcall. I'm not saying there are none, but by most standards that would not be considered catcalling. The women that think "hi" is a catcall are the equivalent of men who bounce up in TRP talking about how the waitresses are IOIing them because they're nice to them.

From what I've seen professionally, it tends to be a wakeup call. The money and family danger typically is very gradual, but the firing is usually a slap in the face that there is a real significant problem. This is mostly because if you can hold down a job you're seen as at least somewhat successful at being an adult human (rightly or wrongly). Functioning alcoholics hit the same kind of point with a job loss a lot of times.

I would have a hard time being close friends with someone that was redpill. I try to be tolerant, but it would be very difficult to build a relationship of trust with them knowing that much of the sub preaches how slimy and treacherous women are, and also to "act like everyone else" (so there would always be secret paranoia that they held me in contempt or just thought I was waiting to jump their bones).

But why were they prized? Because they were the ones that got to work and fight and die. Well, also in many societies they were the only way to pass along your name, title, etc. A house with four sons would have four scions of that family. A house with four daughters would have no one to carry the name. They were also cheaper to marry off as you had to dowry a daughter and they could hold jobs/positions/professions/titles on their own. I'm not saying that men inherently devalued women, but the s…

Because she apparently doesn't know him well, I think she's overstepping her boundaries tremendously. The man is not unjustified. If they'd been friends for years and then he got salty when she didn't return his feelings that's a bit different.

"hmph, this RPer thinks virginity matters, time to rebel by pretending it meant NOTHING", reflexive rebelliousness in this little debate we're having here? Do women REALLY toss away their hymens so casually? Lol. I don't generally evaluate my own experiences against what someone else thinks matters. They're typically done in conjunction. You pretty much won't win an AoA suit unless you're also filing for divorce. The party you cheated with also has to be seen as "malicious" (ie, they knew you were married and this would break up your marriage)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 05:55 PM

It depends on the state. Our state has alienation of affection laws and you can sue the person your partner was cheating with for breaking up your marriage.

Surgical specialties are known to be particularly grueling compared to pretty much any other type of clinical practices. Gastroenterologists also average 55 hours a week. Is it because all the men just want flexible schedules? There is a slight possibility that actual type of care and it's emergent need probably has a significant part to play in how many hours each specialty works weekly.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/16 06:21 PM
5

Pediatrics averages 50 hour weeks, per the American Association of Pediatricians. Any other specialties you think don't work a lot? You think you'd pick on dermatology like everybody else, but that's too easy and also male dominated :)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/16 06:01 PM

I actually checked that and the applicant base is pretty similar although it does vary between subspecialties. Pediatrics is tilted towards women, surgery towards men, etc. In general, though, roughly 40-45% of applicants are women, and this percentage has consistently gone up each year. It would be nice if I could find some data on undergrad studies but I can't find anything easy to get at. I get what you're saying, for many men a pack of women having drinks is like going to a grocery store when you're hungry. We are also all paired up people (mostly without kids) so we manage to effectively route any romantic interests in group formation.

That's fair, but I also think all too often that "going to bars" becomes a short hand for "flirting with randos" in these kinds of groups.

I totally understand that and if that's what you guys decided more power to ya. We're slowing down on bars because we are old farts that go to bed at like 10 now and the kids make fun of us when we leave! I was more responding to the comment: One might argue that a woman getting dolled up then hitting up a bar or club and flirting with other men is already cheating. There's nothing wrong with a married woman going with her husband to the event at all. I go with my boyfriend to a lot of these. It just seems odd to me that it's assumed that going out to a bar = looking for men/open to advances from men. Maybe the bars here are just more "friendly" but both boyfriend and I (alone and together) go to just hang out with friends who happen to be there or hop on a trivia team.

I think the point is more that a lot of women don't see bars as hotbeds of male attention in the way they're traditionally thought of. I understand what you're getting at, but I don't see how flinging around anecdotes is particularly helpful for either side. There will always be an anecdote that shows otherwise. (And again, I'm also applying that to the comment that started this chain - saying you don't know docs who do that doesn't mean there aren't docs who do that).
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/16 07:14 PM

That was going both ways. Saying anecdotally "no one does this" is equally as false as saying anecdotally "If you haven't seen this you don't know a lot of doctors".

For me personally it depends on why he's jobless. If he's coming out of a relationship where he was a stay at home parent, if he's just graduated and is looking, moved to the area, etc I don't consider that problematic. If he's jobless because he punched his last manager and doesn't have a GED, that's likely going to cause significant problems. I work with over 50 doctors and I can't name a single one that has a trophy wife. Most of them are married to other docs or researchers. They tend to pair up in med school before residency and the only people who are insane enough to date someone in med school are other med students, nurses, and research people at the program. It's crazy, it's almost like anecdotes don't make good reliable data.

I just wanted to make the point that telling guys to bore women with the geeky shit isn't doing the guys any favors. If a guy stumbles onto a woman that likes games, too, great. If not, they're hosed. Honestly I think this ties back in with lack of social skills. A nerd who's got some social skills knows how to discuss his weird nerd hobbies in a way that's engaging and to the point. I have only anecdata to offer but I've dated a lot of short dudes (actually predominantly short dudes, now that I think about it. huh.) and they all seemed to be doing ok in terms of women. I've always thought it was kind of nice to date someone close to my height - I can smooch them without having to find a stepstool. Yep, my ex-husband. (He's my ex because he decided he wanted kids and I don't, not because of friends and family). My parents hated him as they're republican conservatives and he was a a femmish, liberal guy with long hair and a degree in anthropology. My friends didn't like him that much because he had severe social anxiety and some other health issues that made him not especially social and as a bonus meant that I supported him (he worked as much as he could).

Right, I indicated there are plenty of normal reasons to do it as well that would preclude a diagnosis of anorexia. You said it wasn't as symptom of anorexia and I was clarifying that it could be, so if someone was concerned about a relative having anorexia they'd obviously fit it into their narrative.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/16 01:32 PM

Obsessive behaviors centering around food (such as cataloging, weighing, cutting into tiny pieces, or chewing and then spitting it out) can be considered a warning sign for anorexia. Obviously there are also plenty of normal health reasons you'd do that, but in conjunction with other alarm signs it would be considered problematic.

I had the opposite problem. We went on a couple of dates and then I lecture him on making goo-goo eyes at me because I wasn't looking for a long term serious relationship (had just divorced, wanted to have some fun and not be tied down). Three years later we're living together so you can see how well that worked. We did have sex first, he pushed for it, he's way more attractive than I am, we're both in our 30s (me early, him mid).

I'm torn. I believe in equality for both genders. If a man has a chance of being drafted, I feel that women should be in the same pool. However, I also recognize that the majority of women would not be well suited for combat positions. That would mean pushing them into support positions, which would then arguably push less combat qualified men into combat positions and may result in a higher mortality rate for men. If there was some way to guarantee that this would not happen I think the draft s…

I'd say he's an asshole only if he is trying to retain her in the fuckzone by suggesting that at some point he will want a relationship of the type she's looking for. If he's clear with his expectations, that's on her. I knew a guy that did the faux relationship signals, it was gross. He'd routinely take FWBs to do things like look at diamond rings and then act personally affronted when the women for some crazy reason thought he wanted something more.

Ok, but you're assuming the only possible reason a woman would be skipped for such a promotion is that women are slothy, lazy jerkwads who are terrible at their jobs. Even if you assume that there is literally no sexism in the world, it makes zero sense to also assume that all women are lazy and refuse to work overtime or weekends.

I'd obviously be pretty suspicious because it's a really unusual situation, but if he had a story that made sense I'd tend to believe him. I've found him to be very unlikely to lie, and even when he does if I confront him he pretty much immediately gives up the truth. I mean, I don't think that the scenario you propose would actually fit in with 'having been raped' (in the case of a man) but I'm trying to answer the question more in the spirit it was asked than picking at details.

That wasn't your argument, your argument was just "well give it up for adoption, why not?" That's the why not - the system is overwhelmed and can't handle that. We're also already paying for the foster system, so it makes just as much sense to provide social services to the actual mother if she wants to keep the child instead of paying them to strangers to help raise the child.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/16 04:22 AM

Why do you feel like adoption systems are able to handle all unwanted children? Domestic adoption numbers are abysmally low and many children already "age out" of the system. Calling the magic adoption fairy is a pipe dream.

Above average in looks and fitness. Works out regularly, has a sense of style. Is relatively popular among other women. Nothing wrong with this, although I'm not an HB9000 or whatever the kids are saying so I'm usually not their speed. Has a non-nerdy, masculine job. Owns his own business, travels a lot, manages a lot of people, or works in a physically demanding field. That's fine if he likes doing it. I wouldn't seek that out to the exclusivity of other job functions. Has exciting hobbies such…

Yeah, I'm sad that it ended but it was on good terms. His new girlfriend has kids so I think he's a lot happier (and I'm happier with someone who doesn't want them as well). We have dinner every now and then to shoot the shit and see what's going on. It's pretty much the best divorce anyone could hope for tbh.

I think all dealbreakers are fine, to be honest. Even if I don't agree with the reasoning behind them (if you don't want to date a DV victim because it means she's crazy I think that's kind of silly) in the long run I think it works out best for everybody. No matter how weird or off your dealbreaker is, it pretty much always protects the other party.

I've only had one other major relationship (ie, not casual dating). It lasted 10+ years Breakup was mutual Main cause is that he changed his mind about wanting kids, secondary to severe health issues that he was unwilling to address appropriately. I don't think either of us carry blame, we just weren't compatible anymore. Not really, kids were a dealbreaker and we both knew it. His desires just hanged. Yes, it was virtually non-existant, mostly because of the kid thing. I doubt he'd 'oops' me, b…

Nope, I was a nerdy dork. I grew up in a rural community and pretty much never got a date until I made it into college. I was fairly plain and my complete lack of fashion awareness did not help. (Mom, why in the name of the lord did you let me wear stirrup pants to school. WHY.) Weirdly, I developed kind of early so I got gossiped and picked on for being a slut while simultaneously no one would date me.

Yeah I'm being hyperbolic for effect. But things like that do matter, and who they survey makes a huge difference. Heck, if a big segment of the raters were older women they may view them as too young and thus "below average" compared to guys that were 40 and 50 in the mix. Bringing the point back to -- too many uncontrolled variables to say anything other than "hmm, interesting". Just like the horror movie and beer questions.

I don't think that saying one celebrity is less hot than the other five they were drooling over accomplished that, but duly noted. I don't think you need to see thousands of pictures to see that those men aren't all 'below average', just compare them to men you see IRL every day. We have male college sports students through our clinics all the time so technically the average guy I see is 'traditionally' way hotter than that. Which is why I'm saying if 90% of the raters were 25 year old bikini mo…

Or, like men, women have specific tastes. I mean, I have guy friends that assure me that they don't think Scarlett Johansson is "really that hot". Objectively, I'm pretty sure she's not cast in so many roles as a seductress because she's perceived as "not that hot to guys". Doesn't make their opinion wrong, just subjective. It'd be nice to see a broader range of the guys sampled. 4/???? that were "below average"? What is "below average"? Did they rate a 4.8? Or were they rated 1? How many above …

Women rated 80% of men on OKCupid as BELOW AVERAGE Women rated 80% of men on OKCupid as BELOW AVERAGE looking (which is statistically IMPOSSIBLE). Attractive men are RARE. Well, not really. One could conclude that men who were average or above looking did not go to OKCupid for dates. If the guy then really wants to I'll let him, but I don't expect it. If I really don't think we're going to have another date, I'll insist on splitting it after he offers because I feel like it's a really ultra-shitty thing to do to let him pay for my dinner knowing that if he asks me out again I'm going to say no. Is there a situation in which a man approaching a woman, one time, to ask for a date would land him in jail? Most harassment laws specify it has to be a pattern of harassment which would be considered to be distressful by a reasonable person. (As evidenced by my recent law degree from Google!)

I think both are emotional but societally it's only deemed 'acceptable' for them to display certain types of tradionally ok emotions. A woman breaking down crying in public over a relationship woe wouldn't be seen as unusual, but if a man did it it would be even though both probably feel as upset. So men learn not to do that. Angry/aggressive emotions are seen as traditionally male so there's more perceived ability to let those fly.

Sorry, I was trying to be succinct and a little tongue-in-cheek with the AWALT divorce raping - hard to convey that tone! I get that there are many, many, many subreddits and blogs and whatnot about RP and that TRP isn't the end-all, be-all, but sentiments like these (that women aren't "capable" of doing things like being loyal or having real friendships because AWALT, they are driven by hypergamy to find the best possible mate) pop up many places. To follow on this, if everyone can be shallow and terrible, why are there the endless circlejerks about how you can't have a real relationship with a woman because they're not intelligent/loyal/??? enough. I find it's a weird two-sided coin with RPers. On one hand, you see a lot of discussion about abundance mentality and how you're not supposed to get oneitis, etc, etc. On the other hand, there seems to be a big focus on things like "last minute resistance" where they tell you to just keep going. Which is just creepy. It seems like the real philosophy is to go away if you're blocked at first approach, but once you breach initial defenses just keep drilling at the shield.

Don't know what other BP people would do, but last time I had that problem I just told the guy. "Hey, I know you've got a bunch of shit going on but I do too and I still do nice things for you." That was a kick in the ass, things normalized.

So desperate nice guys shouldn't want to date desperate post wall women? In that case it's not "they can't get a date" but "their standards are too high". "They can't get a date that they feel they deserve." I'm not saying you have to marry everybody you date, but desperation implies that you can't get any dates, not that you can't get a date that meets all of your standards. (And to head this off, no I'm not a hot chick. I'm pretty average looking and over 30 so my uterus is rotting out from di…

I'm more confused about why this nice guy wants her to settle with him when she's clearly got some emotional issues if she keeps going back to an abusive relationship. Stop orbiting Henry and his women - go introduce yourself to women who are open to meeting you and dating.

OK, I guess we're defining successful differently. I see success as a healthy relationship (or hell, even a healthy FWB situation) where nobody is afraid of anyone and nobody is getting beaten. If by success, you mean putting your dick into a person, then yes you can prey on people with mental illness and emotional issues and have sex with a lot of them. I was assuming that a legitimate nice guy also would not want to have a relationship which centered around physical and verbal abuse, but if th…

I would tend to agree with the breakdown you've got. To me, only the first type of Nice Guy is the problem - the narcissist. The other two may bring their share of awkward dating (or even boring dating) but they're not someone I'd complain about or deride as trying to get one over on me.

This is only my opinion, but i don't consider those to be Nice Guys. They're just confused or awkward. My primary dating 'type' is scientists, computer programmers, networking guys, and other nerds. I have experienced quite frankly an astounding amount of awkward-nice dating ritual because of this and it doesn't come across to me as something that they're doing in demand of sex. Nice Guy is meant to be a sarcastic term. They believe their gestures to be nice when they're instead often very aggre…

Thanks for posting that, it's really interesting read. There's parts that I agree with and parts that I disagree with. So going along with the comparisons in the article above, let's examine Henry, the abusive asshole with five wives. The conclusion drawn from the anecdote is that Henry is a fucking asshole and has five wives and Dan is a super cool dude with none. But if Henry is a domestic abuser, statistically he's going to target women who will submit to his abuse. The tendency of partners w…

I have no real numbers because I have no idea how you'd even measure that since most Nice Guys don't have the ability to evaluate that behavior objectively. I'd guess that it's a small portion (maybe 10-20%), but because they tend to have a shotgun approach and will complain at length to anybody that will listen there seems to be lot more of them. I've had Nice Guys tell me Nice Guy stories about how terrible women just can't appreciate a Nice Guy pretty much as soon as they meet me on a date. O…

I'm a chick, but I'd like to observe (Women get jealous. This is no secret. People want what they can't have. A woman who has been in a relationship with a guy for a long time is going to want to keep him around. If she see's that other women are interested, then she isn't just going to let that happen unless she really doesn't care about the relationship anymore. She's going to work to keep him.) This is a sunk cost fallacy. I'm not staying with a guy just because we've been together for a long…

I think there's a huge difference in nice guys and Nice Guys™. Regular nice guys are just nice people. I got no problem with that, sometimes they're cool and we're compatible, sometimes they're not. C'est la vie. However, Nice Guys™ are a completely different breed. These are the kinds of guys that will do things for you, unrequested (and often not wanted), and then be upset or enraged that you aren't falling over yourself to thank them for it. One of the worst Nice Guys in our group used to com…

I would agree with you that spousal support when there are no kids is something that should be the exception and not the rule. I can think of very few situations where it would be appropriate. I'd say things like outstanding, serious medical issues, considerations of spousal support during the marriage (if one partner supported the other through college, for example), etc. I'd also say that in the majority of those cases, they should be time limited as well and for a very specific purpose. Obvio…

Oh yeah I'll fully admit we're the exception and not the rule, but on the same hand I also don't know of anyone in my peer group/colleague group that had a really acrimonious divorce. There's an argument that maybe the dudes aren't airing that they got taken to the cleaners, but they still seem to be on friendly terms with their exes so it seems unlikely. That said, I also fully support a fair prenuptial agreement because you can't really rely on people not to go apeshit if things go sour. I wou…

So with the immediate disclaimer that I'm not claiming that any of these are part of the RP bible or sidebar or whatever (because people are always quick to #notmytrp - and I tend to agree that loud obnoxious angry converts are usually loudest...), just that I see them as the most interesting. A recent post had a guy complaining that he was having sex with several different girls without protection and one of them had given him chlamydia. His conclusion was that women are disease spreading machi…

Ah, mine was even further back, way back in the early 80s (I'd assumed they were before most alimony reform - my bad! You know what they say about assuming). I was a kid so they obviously didn't give me their salaries, but they had jobs that would have had similar pay in that time (although my mom didn't have benefits like my dad did, I remember that - because of that my doctor was like an hour away if I got sick). She didn't get alimony from what the divorce papers said, citing that she worked …

My parents got divorced in roughly the same time period (I'd suspect) and my mom kept the house and had to refinance to pay equity to my dad. And we're in the south so it's not like it was a liberal island.

I love getting a divorce and giving 70% of my shit to the girl. I love taking the hit fully! j/k.... kind of. So I'm legitimately curious about this - is this a common phenomenon in your circle? In our circle there's plenty of divorced people (including me) and none of our divorces worked like that. But, we all tend to be childless and have stable careers (male or female) so child support becomes a non-issue. "Take what you came in with and split half of whatever you got together" seems to be th…

I think there's also a large correlation ≠ causation bias going on here as well. Right around the time that the guy is "going beta" is also right around the time you start really learning things about each other and when tiffs and fights tend to start in general. Without emotional buy-in you don't tend to get a lot of fighting because who cares. Some rando dude doesn't call me for a week, oh well. Some guy I'm dating for six months doesn't call me for a week, wtf.

I'm here because I honestly find the conclusions that TRPers tend to reach really interesting. Most of the core values of TRP are good or neutral at worst: take care of yourself mentally and physically, find things you like doing, don't do things just to make other people happy, etc are all solid advice that I'd give to any person regardless of gender or sexuality. Being good to yourself is important, and being a confident, secure person is an attractive quality which will make you more attracti…

Some of my more anxietal male friends have had a lot of success by focusing on finding non-romantic situations to interact with women in. Local meetup groups are great for that. Our big local one holds meet and greet type events a couple of times a month where there are lots of people there if you want to try just jumping in to talk. Hobby-based groups are also helpful because you've got a built-in conversation topic. A bonus is that they also opened up their dating pool because they found peopl…

I'm not actually the dog crying poster - sorry about that, kind of hijacked. As far as buying favorite food, I thought that wasn't that uncommon. His best friend drinks Blue Moon (which he hates) but he'll grab a six pack to have around in addition to whatever he's drinking. I haven't found that to be too unusual. If we get couple invitations it's usually accompanied by "Oh and Bill said to tell Jeff that he got those jalapeno poppers" or something similar. Granted, that's not always the case an…

Imagine my boyfriend's dude friend going "Hey dude I'm making WINGSSSS mofo, bring your sauce". His dude friend knows that my boyfriend likes wings, and that they both like wings, and that eating wings together watching sports is a fun thing they do together. They manage to do this without accidentally making out or having buttsex or anything, it's super amazing.

I'd propose that a system divorced from depending upon the man would probably be better. I think ideally every working person would pay a 'child tax' of some sort. Male, female, infertile, 15 kids, whatever, a small portion of income would be paid into a child "fund". The fund would cover sex education to teens, provision of birth control for both women and men (providing condoms, vasectomies if they want them), prenatal care, and providing support to women to help raise children. If the father …
