Ego is Latin for "me." The majority of the red pill is dedicated to self actualization, which is really just another way of saying "ego actualization." In the context of the red pill, I'd argue that ego is at the center. Why do I improve myself? Because I want ME to be better. Ego is a pitfall if altruism is your goal.. This post aroused my curiosity as my gf is an avid Harry Potter fan. I off-handedly asked her what she thought of Draco's character. Her: "He's a douche. He doesn't man up and help Voldemort or switch sides and help Harry. He just cries." What she finds most disgusting isn't his lack of morality, rather the fact that in the end all he does is show emotional vulnerability. I don't think I could've fabricated a more RP response myself.

My roommate is an ex scout sniper covered in tats. Physically speaking he's probably one of the most ripped guys I know. Just trying to emphasize that aesthetically speaking, he's damn near perfect. He's extremely insecure, needy, and tries way too hard. In the 2 years I've known him he's prolly slept with 2 girls. Ya, they were both 9's, but my point is that a high SMV isn't an end all solution. I agree with OP, trying to attract women is unattractive. Always. Period.
