Bulking adds muscle and fat, cutting removes muscle and fat. If you're doing it right, good Macros and lifting etc you'll lose more fat than muscle, then you can put more muscle and fat on, and the process starts over. I live in a town of 5k people, and the nearest city with more than 20k is over 100 miles away. It depends on what they do. In my area (upper peninsula of Michigan, north of green bay, WI) they're all outside doing stuff out there. (Frisbee, biking, skiing in winter) and its hard to get much going.
