Ironically, if there is such a thing as "toxic masculinity" I'd say the woke feminist crowd is pretty guilty of it. Whenever a feminist man plays down the problems faced by men because "but women have it worse", that's essentially machismo and therefore a prime example of what the progressives would call "toxic masculinity". It's the same gender roles of the knight in shining armour saving the damsel in distress that they complain about in other contexts. He stoically faces all the hardships wit…

"Some women face the glass cliff — in which women are appointed to leadership in times of organizational crisis, when the chance of failure is higher" Wait, is this an actual thing or did you just make it up? Either way, the fact that it's plausible enough for me to be unsure says about everything you need to know about the current state of things.

If men are being mocked that's patriarchy too. I know, but men don't get any negative repercussions either. Men can still succeed, because of the Patriarchy. Whereas women aren't taken seriously, because muh-soggy-knees.

The thing is, should this really happen, women will (hopefully) know what it feels like to have a reason to fear being completely powerless and having the government bitch you around and demanding of you to give up your life if need be. They'll get a taste of actual submission to the system. Right now for them it's just such an abstract concept, in my experience they can't fathom why one would feel cheated if he's subject to the state's mercy in case a war should happen. Their life is not in dan…

It's not that men don't get mocked, it's just that the Patriarchy doesn't hold them back because of that. Or some shit.

If you have enough money to spend on lawyers, sure, but who actually has enough money to assert their rights against an uncooperative mother? There've been cases of women straight-out refusing to follow court orders basically without getting any repercussions. While on the paper men might have rights, in practice they're still at the mercy of the mother. If she cooperates (which I'm sure they do in a good amount of the cases), the father can assert his rights, but if she doesn't, they'll have a …

courts may decide that allowing men to walk away from their children means that society has decided that the mere fact of biological fatherhood does not entitle a man to raise the children he has fathered Isn't that kinda already the case though? With over 80% of the children going to their mother after divorce, fathers already aren't entitled to raise the children they fathered. Nevermind children born out of wedlock. They're just a meaty ATM with little to no rights at all, but the financial r…

I don't know much about politics, so please don't downvote me into oblivion, if my question appears stupid. Will this effectively change anything or is it just a feelgood convention that's really more of a recommendation than something the countries are supposed to REALLY do something about. Don't get me wrong. Either way it's crap, how they gender such a general issue as violence to present it as a problem primarily or more negatively experienced by women, but it's one thing if it'll manifest i…

You had my attention until supports feminism Isn't that kinda expected from "nice men" though. I wholeheartedly agree that it's crap, but strictly speaking, it was only an observation, not a moral judgement whether it's good or bad that "nice men" support feminism. It's basically observing male disposability. "You're helpful for women? You're a good man." Leaving aside for a moment that feminism isn't really that helpful to women either. In the public eye feminism is perceived as a good thing fo…

where it should be Nope. I'm in Germany and I appreciate the law not criminalising 15 and 16 year olds banging 14 year olds, because boo fucking hoo. The age of consent is 14 here. Now we can argue whether there should be an "upper limit" for people under 16, cause I don't think there currently is necessarily, but your hormones don't kick in at 16. I find 14 to be a way more sensible age to allow for legal sexual intercourse. And it's pretty easy to argue that you were taken advantage of anyway,…

For some perspective, why aren't we criticizing women for manipulating and enticing these poor men into giving up their assets to get their biological needs met? Because that's slut shaming and victim blaming, silly. Also, teach men not to rape. It's the subject-object-dichotomy. Subjects act, objects are acted upon, and women are clearly objectified, meaning even if they put an ad on Craigslist saying "I'm a dirty girl and I don't have any taboos if you pay the right price", it's MEN'S fault, b…

The sexist idea that girls should have lots of clothes And who is giving them that idea? Who is "sending these messages" to young girls? From my experience, men don't really care, nor do they really notice how much clothing others have. It's mostly other girls/women judging them, isn't it?

Not to be a killjoy, but if laws like this, "yes means yes" and comparable shit keep to be pushed, I predict some ugly riots, if not civil war at some point in the not so far future. We all know this tends to happen when people's rights are taken away and the right to due process is one of the corner stones of Western society. How long will men stand by and allow the state to keep pushing them around like this? It's especially ironic, considering it's SJWs who claim that "the past keeps repeatin…

If there was legal paternal surrender, I'd be completely fine with women lying about birth control, but as long as men can be legally screwed over if they have sex without a condom, it's a double standard that rape by deception is only illegal when men lie about birth control. But pulling the condom off during sex is a cunt move, let alone stupid and dangerous, considering he doesn't know her medical record and he could knock her up accidently. You do realise that "just sticking it in there" hurts like fucking hell, right? You do realise the anal opening is so tight, because it's a muscle and that muscles can tear, right? If you give a single fuck about your partner, you don't just stick anything in there without their consent. And if you still do, I really hope shit happens to you. Literally. In theory, "emotional labour" is expecting someone to behave a certain way, like expecting a waiter or a secretary to always be cheerful and friendly with costumers, regardless of how they actually feel. It's expected of them they always be pleasant and happy, so if they actually suffer from depression or even just some temporary sadness, because their pet or their grandparents died, they have to force themselves to smile and be as friendly as their boss wishes, i.e. they have to put additional …

You look ridiculous right now. If by "you" you mean the sub, I kinda agree. We have to be better than feminist SJW-types to beat them. If we resort to use the same tactics they use for problems that are as petty as theirs (manspreading, mansplaining, sexist air conditioning), that's in a way legitimising their critique of those less than miniscule problems. We have to use their weapons against them, but we don't have to sink as low as they do, when there's many way more pressing problems to take…

Well, America is the biggest first world country that still does it. Others might get away with the "religion" excuse, but America does it on an epic scale for no good reason other than "muh tradition", basically. Yes, Americans will express other reasons when you directly ask them, but it's all rooted in "because that's how things are done here". European countries for some weird reason manage to do just fine without circumcising their boys.

My understand of female circumcision is that they are removing the clit. Not necessarily. Yes, this form of female circumcision exists, but it's not the most common form. The most common form roughly compares to male circumcision afaik.

The Middle East doesn't need feminism but egalitarianism. Feminism is a toxic movement in and of itself. If feminism grabs hold in the Middle East, chances are it'll end up being even worse than here, because women in the Middle East have it worse than Western women ever had it. Western women more or less got everything handed to them the second they asked for it and they're still complaining.

Amy Schumer showcases her knockout figure The only way she's knocking anyone out with her figure is literally by slamming against them. You're right, it doesn't make sense to argue with a drunken person, but it makes a giant difference whether she scolded him for getting shitfaced and cheating on her, which may be futile but understandable, or whether she yelled at him for being drugged and getting raped. Her heart is at the right place, but the gynocentrism is still shining through. The time has come for women to recognise the ways in which boys and men are missing out, because what good will it do any of us if future generations of men are under-educated, angry and unable to provide healthy role models for our — and their — sons? Last time I checked, I haven't chosen to have less legal rights than women. Nobody is blaming women for the lack of legal rights, we're merely arguing that we should have those rights and feminism (not women, very important difference) is perpetuating the notion that women don't have as many rights as men, when the opposite is the case.

That suggests that their contribution to society as a whole is worth 14% less than the men's, and that is simply not true. That's where he lost me. No, it means that women are doing quantitatively less work than men, hence it's perfectly reasonable to "value their contribution to society 14% less than men's". In a perfect world women would make fun of men, men would make fun of women, straights would make fun of gays, gays would make fun of straights, whites would make fun of blacks and vice versa and so on and so forth. However, that's not the world we live in. We live in a world where the straight, white, able-bo…

but in honesty they should label it as 96% OR MORE effective. Maybe they DID test the babies and the article just doesn't mention it. The article leaves more questions open though. Did they make sure all the men were even fertile? Did they make sure the partners were fertile? Did they make sure the men had enough sex to expect pregnancy or did they just cross their fingers and hope for the best? Did they make sure the men and their partners didn't use other methods of contraception that would te…

During this time, only four pregnancies occurred among the men's partners. Just to keep it scientific, did they make sure to check whether the men were the biological fathers of the children? It don't have nothing to do with the injection if those women were cheating on their partners and got pregnant from someone else. In contrast, it would mean that the injection is even more effective than assumed. Accurate wording really matters in those contexts. Did they just become pregnant or did they be…

I’m especially in favour of those that undermine an age-old institution set up to allow men to claim ownership of women’s reproductive labour and offspring. Which is exactly why there's condoms and contraceptive pills and IUDs and hormone injections and hormone rings and contraceptive patches and tube ligations and abortions and the woman's right to put the child up for adoption without even telling the dad, who can do nothing about it. BECAUSE MEN ARE ALLOWED TO CLAIM OWNERSHIP OF WOMEN'S REPRO…

Vaginas are the gate to reproduction. Men are hardwired to basically crave vagina. The better we treat our vaginas, the more reproductive success we have as a species. Eggs are hard to come by, they are fertile once a month over a window of a couple days and after fertilisation that's it it for quite some time. Gestation, lactation... could take a woman several years to get pregnant again. After a certain age the "egg spoils", i.e. there's a much higher chance for birth defects and a little bit …

The penile part of the urethra to be precise. Though I don't really know what real purpose they serve in females. Wow, talk about superficiality. You're getting married because you're in love, not because of his dick, cunt. Glad that he dodged that bullet, though I imagine he'd have prefered to not go through this, but what can you do? She'd have shown her true face eventually, so better sooner than later. At least that way he hasn't lost anything except a year and a half of his time. Better than losing your kids, your house, your friends and possibly even your job over a messy divorce with a lunatic.

This is especially perverse if you consider that Japanese courts are very strict about this. If you're accused of groping a woman, you're virtually guilty until proven innocent. The way the text presents it is kind of accusatory. It's biologically not easy for men to communicate their feelings, that's why most men aren't good at it. It's not only that they're socially conditioned to surpress them, they also couldn't tell you as accurately as women what they feel even if they wanted. So just shrugging it off and saying "Well, you just gotta try" isn't as easy for men and sending this message could be potentially harmful, considering that some men might feel like a failur…

In a perfect world people would come to this conclusion on their own, but in reality feminism muddies the waters around most issues so badly, that you hardly realise how bad men have it, unless it happens to them. Yes, it's also a matter of discretion, but first and foremost the responsibility to repay the false father should be hers and hers alone, therefore this information is completely irrelevant. She committed paternity fraud and this shall be an appropriate punishment. It's not the other man's fault the woman never to…

I don't know how things are in Australia, but in the US they seem to be backwards, cause god forbid a 17 year old boy has sex with his 14 or 15 year old girlfriend. What a creepy predator. A 17 year old girl and a 13 year old boy on the other hand? No harm no foul. 13 year old boys are horny. Nothing predatory about it. Girls tell of being expected to put up with things they don’t enjoy. I can't help but to wonder how many of these girls made it a point to express their discomfort and to just flat-out say “I really don't want to do this, I don't enjoy it at all and it's no fun. Let's do something else.” Cause something tells me a big part of them just keep it to themselves and whine about it to their girlfriends if at all. Oh, I'd love love love to see a binding "democratic" voting on some abortion law where men are excluded (because muh body muh choice) and it bites women right in the ass, because they give less fucks than men do. However, if they were corrupt enough to exclude 50% of the population by virtue of their gender, they'd also have no scruples to just fake the results if they don't fit their agenda.

Why are vibrators legal then..? Because of Patriarchy it is totally okay to literally objectify and dehumanise men to the point where they are nothing more than what feminists claim men see women as: detached body parts and sex objects. It's sick how hard they project, isn't it? The cognitive dissonance is so strong, I wonder whether their brains are still in one piece (assuming they ever had one to begin with).

Even in nations where it was common until recent times, such as the USA and Uzbekistan, it is now a minority practice. "How can it be wrong when it feels so right?" When people have a preconceived notion (women are treated unfairly) they won't question it if someone agrees with them. That's a giant part of what feminism is about, an echo chamber of emotional masturbation. Exactly. At first I fell for it and had the same reaction, but it clearly says that the other person (albeit in a drunken state) knew that you were not consenting, i.e. that they were raping you. That's no double standard. The double standard would be holding drunken women responsible for their actions (i.e. their consent) but not drunken men. Don't be a feminist. If a man is drunk and rapes someone, he's responsible, just like a woman who agrees to have sex while drunk.

I really hate to be saying this, but are you so unsure about your sexuality that touching another guy's dick poses a real threat to you? That one I'm pretty darn sure is heavily influenced by society. It's not like you're not touching your own dick every chance you get. I don't even need…

You're still doing the movement a great disservice if you pick such a weak and easily refutable example. Tourists and illegal immigrants were never a citizen to begin with. Why should they be included in a service for citizens? German people (Jews, homosexuals, disabled etc) on the other hand had their status as citizens taken away and were killed. That's a huge difference. In the long run half truths will hurt us more than they help us. And why resort to half truths if there's other valid examp…

Sorry man, but it's still wrong. Universal healthcare suggests that it was.. well... universal. It just wasn't. Nazis were very selective when it comes to who was "worthy" to live and who wasn't. They killed hundreds of thousands of disabled people and homosexuals, they put kidnapped children, who weren't Aryan enough in concentration camps or killed them right away, they sterilised hundreds of thousands against their will. If I were you, I would abandon this example altogether. The Nazis were also interested in eugenics, i.e. they killed many disabled people or and put kidnapped children that weren't Aryan enough in concentration camps. Also, ever heard of "Lebensborn"? Google it maybe. It'll be an uphill battle to defend healthcare. Animal rights on the other hand is pretty neat because they introduced animal rights and Hitler and Goebbels were vegetarian.

You're wrong. Universal health care was introduced a good 60 years before Hitler by Bismarck in 1871 I think. However, Nazis were the first ones introducing animal rights and were also in favour of environmental protection, so better use one of these instead. Otherwise you risk losing your credibility, because it's common knowledge in Germany that it was Bismarck. I'm not in any way condoning rape, what I'm saying is, that this approach to bombard people with statements like “Nothing will ever be the same after you were raped” is an unhealthy seed to plant into people's minds. It gives them the moral permission to forever dwell in their misery and not meaningfully try to get out of it. After all because of what…

Meanwhile there's countless innocent men rotting in jail because some cunt retroactively revoked her consent and "mercy" or "the benefit of the doubt" is a privilege that our patriarchy - curiously enough - only seems to grant to women. Except maybe when once every millennium or so a Brock Turner comes around, gets the female treatment and all hell breaks loose.

I almost forgot that. But tbh I still don't believe she'll get more than a slap on the wrist. It may be put more into spotlight by the media and arouse more controversy, unlike the dozens of examples where the victims were boys, but I'm pretty sure her life won't be exactly ruined over it like a man's would be by the allegation alone.

Oh, now you're being silly. It's a woman. We can consider ourselves lucky if she gets any jail time at all.

Why do they seemingly never mention that babies' foreskins are also very lucrative since they are easy to come by and bring a shitload of money? I guess that would just spoil the narrative...

You have a point. Even though it may sound cruel, victims can play a crucial role in their victimisation. If I don't lock my car and it is stolen, I can't expect to walk up to my insurance company, say “I didn't lock my car, someone stole it and now I want money” and expect them to pay. Nor if I don't close my front door and someone robs my home. Calling me out on it isn't victim-blaming, it's merely observing that I was an idiot. That being said, I'm not sure whether in rape cases it is sensibl…

That's stupid. The sex drive is a sort of basic need. That's basically like saying “You peed in public. You may not have to register as a sex offender, but you'll have to inform us 30 minutes in advance every time you have to pee from now on. Because reasons."

Yeah, totes, no male rapist ever had health problems, right? They are all just healthy, mentally stable, happy men, who decide to rape someone just for the giggles of it, amirite? And giving her some kind of special privilege to have regular check ups in prison would have been just too much to ask I guess. Oh well, nothing we can do about it now. The matriarchy has spoken!

Duh, because men simply don't respond well. Men are all predatory rapist pigs, raping is encoded in our genes, which is why we need to be taught not to rape. And rape culture further enforces our sick nature. Die cis scum! /s

Hypocritical twats. For all they know they just sent a suicidal man directly into his death. And they didn't even care. Not a single fuck was given on that day. And then they probably pride themselves on helping those who really need it. Yeah, right. Aren't they saints?

“The survey found that 44 percent of boys felt they should be receiving more money than they were compared to just 39 percent of girls.” Very difference. Such relevant. Wow. There is something called “statistical fluctuation”. If it was 89% of boys compared to 17% of girls, fine, I grant you the point, but a difference of merely 5%? You're not even kidding, are you? Anecdote time! My sister is 3 years younger than me and receives 10€ less per month in allowance. Fair enough since she's younger a…

I don't see why so many of you have such a problem with this. Yes, it does kinda suck that they'd let a rapist basically go free with such a slap on the wrist, but that's exactly how they've been treating female rapists and other female criminals all along. Society needs a bitch slap of wisdom. If you ask me, just let them swallow their medicine for once. Maybe then they'll finally realise that letting criminals off the hook to spare their feelings IS NOT COOL. Of course it'll need some female s…

Because it's a lucrative market to sell babies' foreskins and society is brainwashed to think men are better off without foreskin (at least in America).

“Why should a five second self-serving contribution on his part afford him the same reward as what a mother gets for everything she has to go through from conception to birth and after?” Wow, what a self-glorifying cunt. The only thing a mother has to do kinda sorta actively from conception to childbirth is stay alive. Boo hoo, how much to ask of her. This day and age she doesn't even have to be conscious while in labour for fucks sake. Giving birth may be painful, but with this ridiculous amoun…

Depending on how big the rooms are they could make a somewhat separated urinal area. There is a bathroom like that in my uni, and while it's men only, if a girl would just run into it she would have to go out of her way to enter the urinal area, since the stalls are in another direction.
