Good guide overall. 1 thing I take issue with: tanning beds. Tanning regularly has been shown to massively increase cancer risk, and also it causes your skin to age faster (in other words, it'll totally backfire once you're 40). On the other hand, putting sunscreen on whenever you spend a lot of time in the sun will help preserve your looks. That's a much better idea. I'm fine being a little pasty now if it means I'll still look good when I'm 50.

Author is an idiot. "Jian Ghomeshi wasn't found guilty, but must have clearly been guilty, because I and a bunch of screaming cows on twitter are clearly more qualified to decide that than a court of law." I quit reading after that. He is clearly very ideologically blinded to the world around him. (Admittedly, this may be true of some people on TRP as well). Also, he has no argument, just shaming tactics and name calling: "Women are independent now, and if you don't support that, you're a shitty…

Yeah sounds like the wife's friend is just trying to convince herself of the goodness of her own bad choices by getting her friend to agree with her by doing the same thing. She's telling her to divorce in order to validate her own insecurities, not to help her out. It's a crabs in the bucket mentality. Wife needs to figure out who her real friends are.

Yes, under current US legal precedent, this would be discriminatory, and it is blatantly hypocritical of leftists/feminists to ignore this. But I would argue that all anti-discrimination laws are a violation of freedom of association, and inherently anti-capitalistic. If current laws are harming 1 group of people, the solution is to repeal those laws and allow for a free market, not create another set of laws to harm the other half of the population and "even things out".

so fickle and scared of her own shadow There's been enough reports of crazy Uber drivers doing stupid things that getting into a car with a random stranger is not a safe thing to do. It's a reasonable fear to have, regardless of your sex (but even more so as a woman, since women are generally smaller and weaker and the driver could easily overpower her if he wanted to). men are just uncontrollable rapists Acknowledging that being alone with a man is statistically more dangerous than being alone …

Nothing wrong with this. It's a private company, they can do whatever the fuck they want. If there's a demand for women-only ridesharing, they have every right to supply it. I'm not even opposed to this on principle. If I had a girl I cared about a lot, I might prefer that she get a driver she knows is female. Hell, even I'm a little squeamish about getting into a car with a random stranger. Unless the girl is carrying mace or a firearm, it makes a lot of sense that she might want a woman driver…

I basically never post here (I'm a man), but I do read it from time to time. Overall, I saw a lot of thirsty men giving shitty advice to women. Also, there were a lot of BP trolls trying to spread the feminist religion (the mods tended to be reasonably good about stopping these though). The first problem will probably be ameliorated by disassociating from TRP. The second... well, I've already seen 1 or 2 BP contributors on the new subreddit. Plus it looked like the mods aren't going to be as ban…

Holy shit. I watched the video, figuring OP was exaggerating. It's actually every bit as bad as this post makes it out to be. The number of likes on it and positive comments (until TRP brigaded it a few hours ago) is shocking. What's even worse is that this woman doesn't even appear to think there was anything morally reprehensible about what she did. She does not think about her kid's dad even once in that whole rant. She claims she broke up with him because he didn't love her enough, but she n…

I downvoted this because I think you made a big deal out of nothing. If anything, this woman is a lesson in how a wife should act. The OP strikes me as pretty loyal and dedicated to him (read some of her later comments), and it's totally understandable that she's frustrated and/or freaking out, especially given their financial situation. She seems like she's legitimately trying to help him and said she isn't planning to ditch/divorce rape him. Surprisingly, a lot of the commenters seem to be on …

I feel ya. I live in California - it's Blue Pill Hipster Central, so everything you've said is definitely believable. Could you expand on your first point though - what was it that specifically set you apart from all the BP males? Most men I know in my field are very BP and probably never get laid, but are also very intelligent. What did the girls like most about you?

OK. You say you're still in school, so here's my list of reactions: Have you actually fucked any of these girls (or got them on dates, etc.)? You say their reactions are positive, but if you haven't fucked any of them, there's a good chance they're just trying not to cause a scene. You say that they like you judging by their reactions to your game. If you've gamed a bunch of them like this but haven't fucked any of them, it could be that they're not reacting to your game as well as you think. If…

The reason there's so much of this in the manosphere is not due to any inherent ideological connection between anti-feminism and racism, but simply because white nationalist/racist types generally aren't allowed to spew their shit most other places. TRP is already politically incorrect and tolerant of unpopular opinions, so it is more likely to attract racists - it's one of the few audiences where they aren't either immediately no-platformed or preaching to the choir. It's also telling that the …

Not sure why this is being downvoted. It's hilarious how on the one hand they claim we're a bunch of basement-dwelling virgin neckbeards, and on the other hand they're so scared of us they have to come crash the meetings and dox us. The doublethink is amazing.

Not exactly. A Modest Proposal satirized the nobility's (Swift's targets') attitude towards the poor by suggesting that they eat their children. If Roosh wanted to emulate Swift and satirize his opponents' (feminazi) attitudes toward rape, his thesis would have been something among the lines of "make it legal for women to kill men, since we should always believe women when they say they did it in self-defense." Indeed, the "rape should be legal" post would have sounded like Swift-esque satire if…

Lol the author is an idiot. She doesn't even disagree that "women like bad boys" and "nice guys get friendzoned." The whole piece is just a moralistic crusade about how YOU are a terrible person if YOU don't chop your balls off for dumb feminists without any expectation of a reward, even if they specifically fuck the men who don't do this. That said, she is most definitely NOT trying to say that sexual strategy is immoral. If someone wrote an article: "Fat feminists aren't entitled to commitment…

I've had this problem too. What I've found helps: -Reducing anxiety. It helps if I'm in an isolated area where there's no chance any dormmates, etc. can hear. Also, getting comfortable with the girl. I know foreplay gets derided as feminine a lot around the manosphere, but I enjoy eating pussy/making out and it helps me focus on the moment better and makes the sex better. -Not using a condom. I'm less anxious without the condom, I enjoy it more, and this makes me last longer for whatever reason.…

This is actually really helpful. I get way more worked up over stupid meaningless shit like internet comments than I should. This actually puts my mind at peace quite a bit. Perhaps I just need a little more perspective... EDIT: Given what you've said though, one other thing: do you think the army and/or air force or whatever branch you were in are good places for a guy who's never really had any masculine instruction in his life to get a sense of masculinity? I've read varying opinions on this,…

Warning: Long-ish rant. This is actually pretty worrisome - this guy could be the next Elliot Rodgers. What I find really ridiculous though is how feminists demonize these guys, yet the reason behind their behavior is all the modern cultural conditioning about how guys need to be "nice" and "sensitive" and "in touch with their feelings". If this guy kills someone, at least a little blood is on feminists' hands for destroying the systems which would have taught him how to be a man, handle his ang…

18yo ex-male feminist new to trp here. Pretty sure I fall into the "repressed anger" category. Any suggestions for developing a healthier/more mature method of wielding anger? (I have literally zero alpha male role models in my life).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
