I've seen law firms do sensational flyers like these for around the courthouse. Just meant to get attention without harming their reputation too much.

Im pretty sure it come from this series, Beyond Scared Straight I looked for better clips, but haven't found much, and I'm not sure why someone put Anserson Cooper in this. I've seen the show, and a lot of the scared straight stuff revolves around teens being confronted with inmates telling then how they are going to rape them. All of this is encouraged by the prison guards. Its sickening. I'll look for more clips.

If you look at the mods at the troll sub http://www.reddit.com/r/shitredditsays_ you'll see all the anti MR trolls are in one spot. Pretty easy to see that the Sisters troll was an SRS operation now.

This looks lot like the radfem stuff I've seen. So it might be satire, but there are radfems out there that totally agree with this.

I was about to say. Feminists are now resorting to Godwin in arguments. LOL

I don't disagree with his statement, though the whole wage gap bunk is something he keeps spewing despite it being debunked time and again.

Let's talk about white female privilege: Most likely to graduate high school Most likely to graduate college Most likely to receive federal grant money for college tuition Most federal money for sex specific cancer research Most likely to be awarded custody of children in family court Most likely to be awarded alimony payments Most likely to have a federally funded battered shelter to go to Least likely to die of cancer Have the longest life expectancy Least likely to die on the job Least likely…

Only thing I'd point out is the person quoted in the article, Noah Brand, had this to say about MRAs: "Feminism is a large and complex movement that has changed the landscape of global culture for the better. MRAs are a lunatic fringe with absolutely no intellectual basis other than hatred for feminism. I didn’t used to believe the latter, but after extensive field-testing, no other theory actually held up. In the real world, there are no MRAs who are willing to engage with any argument that doe…

Kind OT Taylor Bigler is friends with the editors of Jezebel Magazine. She even picked up the Ryan Gosling story and has retweeted Jezebel and its editors numerous times. http://www.lucianne.com/thread/?artnum=674261 A simple google search shows she often interacts with them. Not sure what this all means, but I'm betting that means she is at least a feminist. edit: Not so sure now... http://dailycaller.com/2012/04/05/maybe-ryan-gosling-shouldnt-have-saved-that-woman-from-a-cab/ .....though maybe…

I'd like to see them post evidence of said rape threats. Every time a feminist gets caught in a lie, they always go right for the "people threatened to rape me." You're right, she needs serious help.

Funny how those types of anarchists quote Emma Goldman, but have almost no idea about her life and what she said it meant to be an anarchist. Emma would be rolling over in her grave if she knew people like this called themselves anarchists. I'm no anarchist, but here is one quote from her. "Anarchism stands for the liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion and liberation of the human body from the coercion of property; liberation from the shackles and restraint of government. It…

Here is a comic this woman drew, showing how to kill a man with poision. I guess murder is OK with her. edit: Direct link to comic - http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ly1wgnQLcC1rnuciuo2_400.jpg

Great observation. Since the early civil war in Africa from decolonization period of the 1950's, child soldiers, rape and disturbingly brutal methods of torture have ravaged about two thirds of all the countries on that continent. This new framing by some to pretend atrocities to men and boys aren't the norm, and worse claim how female victims are the only rape victims that matter is fucked beyond belief. Sierra leone, Liberia and Angola are just three countries which saw civil wars that men and…

Men are far more likely to become criminals, drug addicts and commit suicide from those who were raised by a single mother. Being a man just like being a woman is not a 100% social construct like feminists say it is, biology plays a significant role as well.

This was amazing, thank you. It was quite moving, the rythymic symbolism of the words, and the overall theme reminded me a lot of Pink Floyd,s album The Wall. To whoever created this, more please!

Love the comments on that Jezebel article which advocates violence against men - I don't condone violence, unless it's in self defense of a physical attack, but I'm glad this woman stood up for herself. .. Sounds almost like "I'm not racist but...." I'm never, ever afraid to walk into the "poorer" neighborhoods that straight WASPS view as "scary" or "ghetto" or "crime-filled". But if I have to walk through an area that's notorious for drunken frat boy antics (i.e. 85% of the DMV area), then I am…

Weren't they the same people who taunted a man to kill himself on a thread here?

So yes, this post might seem pedantic but "verbal threats" =/= "violent verbal threats". Although "violent verbal threats" are a subset of "verbal threats" so the case for men is still looking better than the case for women (Just neither are complete). I think it's more that violence towards men, and even advocating it, are acceptable public discourse. Where as talk of violence against women if frowned upon. And in reality, men are far more likely to be the victim of an actual violent act. And l…

Don't know why you got down voted, it's a perfect example of turning the tables to show how sexist something like "tell men not to rape." Mothers do kill their children far more often than men, but when the same logic is used, people get pretty angry.

I disagree about being off-topic, as for whatever their reasoning for wanting more women, they (being the US government and the software company) are both using the same "we'll pay for you to come gimmick." The ugly sexism is not in the software company, but in the educational affirmative action programs thar exclude men. The story on the game was just a segway into the real story.
