I love my children more than anything. My ex asked to move to another state to “work on the family”, immediately cheated on me, and asked for a divorce to shack up with her new man. Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins. It may not be conventional, but it was the most helpful book I read during my divorce in terms of helping me respect myself and move forward.

I thought the same way during my divorce. I didn’t want to be the asshole and had thought that, if I was nice and loving, she’d come back. Never happened.
