Counterpoint: I believe in a benevolent patriarchy (in some parts of modern civilization). The legal system massively favors women (divorce settlements and custody, sentencing lengths for similar crimes). It is perpetuated by male judges, commisioners, and lawyers. The only modern change is women hold those positions now too. I interact with executives of small and medium sized companies every day. Companies staffed by mostly women are still usually managed by men, and that always seems off to m…

I agree 100%. Those subs are relationship war subs. Perhaps their existence is good temporary therapy, but healthy people should move on from hating the opposite sex if they want healthy relationships. Men and women do each other dirty and attempts at revenge screw everyone.

The misogyny she refers to is when the male world reactively treats women as less valuable and disposable. FDS is absolutely a masochistic movement that makes things worse for women. Somebody got hurt once, and decided to hurt men back by making FDS. Hurt people shouldn't get to decide gender relations, it screws everybody in the end.

It's not worth any effort. Reddit is one of the most likely websites to misuse or share/sell user data in a way that most users would not appreciate. There are plenty of good forums where free, higher quality political and philosophical discussion takes place so go there for good faith social networking and just shitpost here.

It's pretty silly how huge blocks of topics are off limits all over reddit. It was a great idea that's gone to shit since the anti-free speech goons took over. Good thing I contribute nothing of value.

Hopefully enough toxic masculinity is left to ensure humanity's survival after that.

Check out Jordan Peterson and Bill Burr. I recommend those two for any man frustrated with a lack of control over their direction in life. Burr is a comedian but much of what he says is philosophically sound.

This is a fascist solution to a problem that doesn't need to be so oppressive. If men could choose to be temporarily sterilized (hypothetically safe and reliably reversed) at puberty, many would benefit from the additional legal protection that provides.

I don't think relationships are bad. A well-adjusted male who sets boundaries and sticks to them will be rewarded by a woman who stops trying to break them down and chooses to honor them. Women are childish and don't know when to stop. They'll tear every boundary down and take full control of the relationship if the man becomes a doormat. And then she'll break up because she doesn't want to be with a doormat. Work on yourself, men. Learn to set steel boundaries and protect thyself. And never, ev…

The brutal truth is words mean less to women than they do to some men. I thought hearing beautiful lies like "I will always want you" "love" and "loyalty" meant something, but as soon as she feels something else those words expire. Never forget.

Listen to the people who care about you! I'm newly free and it hurt but holy fuck every single real friend I had was telling me to get out. I'm sad I fell off the bus for a year and a half. I didn't do any of my hobbies or hardly ever go camping.

'FGM is worse than MGM' is a myth that serves to cloud the genital mutilation waters and ends up with mgm being justified or ignored.

It is also very interesting and rather suspicious that kill-all-men type feminists promote male genital mutulation. Since they would never promote female GM, kinda makes ya think.

"temple to negative male energy" Incredible phrase, incredible move by the partner's friends to say such toxic, undermining bullshit. I've watch a women's friends convince her to throw a nice marriage + kids away so many times. Divorced women want their friends to also be divorced.

"Hate speech" is not really a thing to me, I believe true free speech means anything can come out of anyone's mouth and the rest of us are free to ignore it if it sucks. Reddit loves to encourage the deconstruction of human rights, but all it does is make reddit, a website that profits because of free speech, worse.
/r/MensRights03/12/19 06:57 PM

Not hate speech. It sounds awful but every 20-something guy needs to read stuff like this. Young men should be better prepared for the dark side of relationships.

I'm okay with guys chosing to mutilate themselves too as long as they get to become adults first. The ladies can cut bits off themselves too if they really want. As adults. Non-consensual mutilation of minors of either gender is extremely not cool.

Correctly calling out a female incel (after they more than earn it) is really satisfying. My target had been posting about how male incels should be killed. Kind of amazing to go back and read that shit.

Toxic masculinity is men afraid to be masculine or having never learned how, also men acting feminine. The media thinks it's the opposite which bothers me. Journalism is dead right now. The future is not fucking female, there's either humanistic future or humanity doesn't get one. Dads are the pillars of civilization, teach your boys to be tough and strong through your own example.

Let's pretend it's a thing, and approach it as a thought experiment. Belief isn't required. The angel Gabe visited Mary before the alleged statutory rape happened, but wasn't that more of an head's up than consent-getting? Mary goes for it though, Gabe is a bit of a Chad on god's behalf. God sent an angel which is definitely a beta move.

I agree with the twitter person. It sounds bad but that person isn't wrong. Don't be insecure. That's easily fixed. Don't be used by women, that's also easily fixed. The meme of the kid with his arm in a boot on his own head is such a good one, and this reminds me of that.
