I guess it depends on the conference. If it’s a bs conference with a lot of kids at it then have at it. But professional and academic conferences are held for people in a field or studying to enter a field at an advanced level. I read the study that is the basis for all of the claims lately that women make better doctors. The article itself stated the difference in performance was small and was expressed as a percentage of patients they included in their meta data study. Authors of news articles referencing this study have then taken that percentage and multipled it by a number of patients in the us per year to arrive at a number of lives that could have been saved. I always thought there would be a market for a phone app. Basically the app would allow for an individual to record an encounter. The encounter would be stored encrypted on a central server. However, the person doing the recording could only access it if he/she was under investigation and could prove it to the database owner. That isn't the way stats work. When you test an individual you can be 99% confident that the person you just tested isn't the person you are looking for. That is very different than saying 1 person in a crowd of 100 will match the DNA sample you have.

My 2 cents: We are better off advocating for selective service for both genders rather than advocating abolishing the draft. I think it is reasonable to think that if ever WWIII broke out a draft would be instituted at some point. If there is no new model then they will revert back to the only known model, men only. Just a thought based on your comments. Is there a such thing as an "equalist" or some sort of "equality" subreddit. What both "feminists" and mensrights activists are fighting for is equality.
