You’re right. Despite requiring a teaching degree, teachers are not educated. And out of the 3.2 million teachers in America, none of them have any passion for their chosen field. The obvious alternative is to have your mom watch daytime TV while children read mail order workbooks that say the Earth is flat. Or spend 20k a year that most people don’t have to go to private school with uneducated, passionless teachers.
