I don't like to tell my female friends what I do anymore, because so many have copied what I do, which is bad business sense. That said, it doesn't suit all personality types. As a sex worker I find the whole attitude that hookers are icky/risky/unethical highly offensive. They've done studies where I am from (Australia) and you are hands-down, LESS likely to contract an STI from a legal sex worker than you are from a female who isn't a sex worker. I'm a sex worker and I actively avoid that type of client. The vast majority of my clientele are men who are either divorced, or in a relationship where their partner isn't interested in sex anymore (it happens heaps after women have children). I've always thought it amusing that there are countries that outlaw prostitution, but once you add a camera into the mix and film it, the whole thing becomes legal. Until the 1960s (if it wasn't the 60s it was the 70s), women couldn't get bank accounts at a lot of banks. That is the sort of thing feminism fought for. Now sadly it's getting a bit over the top.
