3	A couple questions regarding debating In my opinion, the “patriarchy” argument for why men commit suicide at a disproportional rate is some what valid depending on how you look at it. My reasoning for why I think this is mostly anecdotal but I see the main arguments. 1.Men’s mental health is treated at a much lower rate than women’s due to stigmatization and how men are raised. 2. Many men on this sub have realized that a good father figure in a mans life is important and praise good fathers.
