You have so much time! Focus on yourself and enjoy your 20s. I wish I could have done the same because I was stressing out too and stayed in a dead end relationship for years because I thought I was too old to meet anyone else. Then I met my husband at 33!

First and foremost, what else do you bring to the table besides your feminine energy and ability to birth children? Can you cook, bake, do you take care of your appearance? Basically, are you a high value woman? If you just expect to be provided for without offering anything of value in return, I think it will be difficult for you to find one who will commit at all. A lot of women just want to stay home, take care of the children, and be provided for. I don’t mean to be harsh but what makes you …

This sounds like my parent’s relationship. My dad was so miserable and depressed because my mom was not a sexual person. This isn’t your case but my dad is a very kind and loving man who worked very hard and was very successful, making twice than my mom. But she just didn’t respect my dad for reasons too many list here but she became masculine and assertive much like you. She appeased him from time to time sexually but it wasn’t enough for my dad who derives love and connection from physical tou…

Yes!! I wondered the same. I left and he tried snaking his way back but I said nope! He took advantage of me for nine years because I let him. But once I gained my own confidence, I put an end to that abusive cycle. I still have nightmares about him.

In my case, he was attracted to me and thought of me as high quality but it made him feel emasculated and insecure. When I could buy him things that he couldn’t buy me, it didn’t make him feel good and bred resentment on his end.

I’ve dated men who didn’t have stable careers/made less income than me and it was very stressful mostly for them. They were jealous of my success and what I was able to purchase for myself. My ex literally told me he was jealous of my career and my new car. I covered all vacations and dining out, which I didn’t mind because it made me happy to do so but it made them resentful. Because of that experience, I will never date a man who makes less than me ever again.

This. My partner’s industry involves working with extremely wealthy people—I’m talking multimillionaires in the tens of millions. They all have one thing in common…you can’t tell they are wickedly rich. It’s the flashy ones flaunting their wealth who are most likely overcompensating for something or other. But the truly wealthy and financially intelligent are modest and humble in their possessions. Although they do take care of themselves, they’re not extravagant. Old money versus new money aest…

I really like that, instead of being angry, I should have shown him my vulnerable side. My first reaction to being hurt is defensiveness. It’s not very attractive. Thank you for your thoughtful response. Self-awareness is something I really need to work on.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. Yeah he said when we argued, he felt like we weren’t on the same team. After some reflection, I realized that maybe the resentment that’s built up over the years came up during those moments. I have a lot of work to do in regards to my personality and setting my boundaries. It’s a long road ahead...😔

As a girl, I would really appreciate it if my partner asked me to get tested. That would make me like him and respect him even more. You don’t know where the other person has been! Just be straight up and voice your concerns. That you would like to have both of you tested for each other’s safety.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
