Well, I don't know much about mystery method apart from approach within 5 secs and that works. Game works, that's why TRP exists. If you're past a certain level of ugly yeah you're doomed but a lot of average guys could do with basic PUA stuff like subcommunication. haha not to be rude but this reminds me of the thinker meme anyway i read in one of those big ideas books that we have three modes of thinking, past present and future and its optimal to be in the present with some foresight of the future. So the answer is both. Don't become miserable with 'the grind' but also dont be dumb and screw your future self over. Are you unemployed? Put all your energy into getting a job. Are you unhealthy?
