Do you have any thoughts on replacing barbell bench with dumbbell chest press? I had a rough shoulder injury a while back that I’m fairly certain was exacerbated by the highest bench press volume of my life. If I try it now, there’s some pain in the joint. I’ve been using dumbbell press for a while and seeing some results, I just like to hear people’s thoughts on it.

I actually agree with this guy. In my experience, what the military (Army for me) excels at teaching is the ability to adapt to discomfort and suffering. That sounds ridiculous, but it's honestly a pretty important skill. Knowing that a bad situation is temporary and you'll survive (most of the time) as long as you keep fighting through it is a huge asset in business and life in general.

Goddamn that's a ridiculous statement. Those who truly understand business are running successful businesses.

This is just awful, borderline sociopathic advice.

It can add a vast amount of value to your life if you choose the right person, emotionally and financially. In fact, research shows a strong correlation between healthy marriages and wealth. A lot of people on here have had bad marriages because they are just terrible judges of character. They then project that out to the world.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
