2	Introductions and a quick question Thanks, I really needed this tonight. I feel that many of my friendships have been based on similar experiences or childhood friendships. I'm able to stay home with my kids and things, and my friends seem to subtly put me down for that. I heard that I wasn't in the workforce so I shouldn't be active politically and things like that. It's amazing how much women can bring each other down, and I know what you mean about not seeming as genuine in their reactions or one-ups.
