1	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap Not sure where you are from but here in the UK teachers get full salary for the whole of the summer. Also they make the kids pay for the teachers to go on trips to places such as France. Teachers moan about pay and stress working 9-4 earning 30k for a part time job. Also the only reason she got the qualifications was because she was a woman, she didn't have the grades to get into the university course, but to meet the quota of woman for the course, they took her anyways. 1	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap Care-work is mostly unskilled work. Its worth almost nothing. It isn't a skilled trade, anyone could do it, thus they deserve low pay. Teaching pays low because of the massive amount of time off they get, I will never have any sympathy for teachers, they are over paid as it is, and frankly I think they should be classed as part-time.
