Sometimes the game is so rigged and no one seems to notice it. Yes, she said she certainly didn't mean it seriously. My reply was that there are things too serious to ever joke about, and that was one of them. A man saying half as much would be shamed on the spot, by women and men alike.

Last year or so my wife and I were at a baby girl's birthday party. We were chatting to a lesbian couple, one of them being an acquaintance of my wife.
