9	How do you deal with the cognitive dissonance? I also am very sweet and agreeable, but if you try to manipulate or condescend me, I call you out. Nicely. When you articulate yourself thoughtfully and stick up for yourself, people, even men will start to realize they can't walk all over you. I thought my guy friends where, but they are all LVMs, admitted to me how poorly they treat/treated women before some got married. Even the man I respect more than anyone in this world, with an intellect greater than anyone I've ever know, admitted to me that in his youth he treated women awfully and manipulated them into bed.
