I also am very sweet and agreeable, but if you try to manipulate or condescend me, I call you out. Nicely. When you articulate yourself thoughtfully and stick up for yourself, people, even men will start to realize they can't walk all over you. It's a sort of calm, comfortable in my own skin, I'm not better than anyone and vice versa vibe that seems to gain me the most respect.

I'm at a point where I don't think I've even met a HVM yet. I'm not even sure though... I thought my guy friends where, but they are all LVMs, admitted to me how poorly they treat/treated women before some got married.
