What is that?

Yup, just say it's a movement that addresses problems that are unique to men. It's what feminism is to women. They surely can't object to that, although I wouldn't be surprised.

What I find curious is that they even notice it to begin with. It shows that they're staring at and attempting to judge every person's clothing that they come across. I never notice a person's clothing unless I'm talking to them for a while or it's something really over the top or bright.

You seem really educated on language, do you know why "men's" and "mens" both show up as a misspelled word in spellcheckers?

If I were to guess I'd say it's mocking how obsessed with women feminism is even though it claims to be about both men's and women's rights. By the way you seem really educated on language, do you know why "men's" and "mens" both show up as a misspelled word in spellcheckers? By the way I've never been so paranoid and conscious of my spelling and grammar after that Correctrix komment.?.!":;am i doing it corrightlyect?}{# edit: woops, I thought you WERE Correctrix.

You'll probably hate me but one thing I love (actually and hate when I think about it properly) about language is how it can be made up and then stick. So surely the rules revolve around what sticks in society rather than dictating how language should work? I understand the reason for the rules (they help you know how to pronounce and deduce unknown words) but they seem kind of silly when it comes to language in my opinion.

I've seen many, many people laugh at the name "masculinist." Then again any group that alludes to helping men tends to get mocked.

The most enraging part of this is the fact that a croc wearer threatened someone. This is why he needs to record audio with his phone at all times.

The thing is, this is the response I've gotten from 16 year old feminists, 20 year old feminists, 30 year old feminists and 40 year old feminists. They all have the same argument: "asshole." Honestly, the best argument I've received was from a woman who just kept making really strange assumptions about me. I'd say "A 14 year old boy was raped and when he turned 18 he had to pay child support. If he can't keep up that payments he'll go to prison. How is that different from Sharia law where if a w…

Yup, you'll eternally be disappointed. I hate to say it as it seems kind of absolute, but you've overestimated feminists if you think they'll discuss anything with you. These people have taken a movement that is needed in parts of the world (China for instance) and they've thoroughly destroyed it. They've completely vandalized it. Their hatred seems purely gratuitous. Feminist? More like Nemesist... er. By the way in case you didn't get my previous comment, please use your phone to record audio …

I've been a supporter of this idea, specifically that Malcolm X quote. I was really happy when I actually started to learn about him, his ideas work with every ideological divide. The problem is trying to get those in power (those screaming "rape" in your face as you ask to talk) to play along. The way feminists act right now, it'll never happen. I mean if a feminist read this she or he'd probably say I encouraged rape and am a racist pornographer. (Malcolm seXXX) That's honestly what I expect f…

I wish you good luck because I've tried this online to the point where feminists have backed down but instead of discussion I either get one last insult or silence.

Yeah, I'd DEFINITELY recommend this. Please just download a recording app for your phone and leave it running. Then just hold your phone in your hand if something starts happening. You'll regret it if you don't and honestly not one person will believe you if something goes down and the only evidence you have is your word against theirs. It'll be framed as "hate group member provokes civil rights group into defending themselves" and I'm not joking. Seriously how do I format my posts? This is a me…

I agree, if you aren't taken seriously then go to the nearest newspaper. Then again go straight to the paper anyway. After the farce of you know who getting "threats" we need to show that this isn't a one way issue. I mean on one side I see people saying "if she's getting real threats then she needs protection and those making the treats are vile and need stopping" on the feminist side I see "men get threats? Well boo hoo, you probably deserve them". How on Earth has the 2nd become the more prev…

I'm sure I heard feminists use the word in a mockulatory kind of way. Maybe it's a reclamation of sorts?

The thing is, the only time I've ever seen feminists ever allude to peace is when they've said "we're willing to use militant tactics".

I totally agree. I wrote a similar comment on Youtube the other day. It just keeps happening, history keeps repeating itself, xenophobia has now been labelled "acceptance", "diversity" and "equality". 1984 has become reality. It's like a parody of doublespeak. Meanwhile the people repeating this shit over and over and over and over think they're ORIGINAL! They delude themselves.

I agree totally with this. Feminists are out of control though, read my comment above about how I was lied to about a college course because I wore a t-shirt with a pinup model on it. They seem to be able to do what they want.

By the way I was recently discriminated against in a college. There were 200 places on a course, around 195 of them were women, I saw one man and then I applied. I was rejected and told there were no new places. As I went to walk out of the room a woman walked over to the woman with the entry forms. She asked her about the same course, the woman gave her a form. If it was full then why give her a form? By the way I was wearing a QOTSA t-shirt with a woman in stockings and a bra on the front, lik…

Yeah, I agree with this. You really need to do something like this because men really do face issues. This isn't about criticizing feminism. What I find weird is that if they think men's rights is an automatic attack on feminism and women then surely that's an admission that feminism is an attack on men's rights and men?

Wow, these people that took over feminism really are absolutely repugnant. No argument, no discussion, nothing. Just stupid fucking juvenile gossiping. Just what are they supposed to be exactly? They obviously aren't a science, honestly they don't even breach the soft sciences when it comes to discussion and argument. They really ARE a religion. I and other people, keep saying it but it's true. They act like a religion and they react like one too. (burning books, getting together to plan retribu…

So feminists act the same way online as they do in real life, at least they're consistent in their hypocrisy and avoidance of discussing issues.
/r/MensRights07/02/15 11:46 AM

If Ron on Swanson said it the message would clearly be that he's a horrible sexist person, the kind of person we are all laughing at because he's so out of touch with morality. The way she said this comes across differently, nobody thinks she's a horrible person. I'm fine with her saying it though, I just wish that we could have someone say the opposite without the disclaimer of "they don't mean it" or "because the world is harder for women" or "they're a sexist".

The meaning behind that is "women aren't valued by society." In certain countries, yes women and girls are still treated like shit. In the west and first world countries it's the men who are treated like absolute garbage and have actually become the lower class. I'm a white man and have actually had life changing discrimination aimed at me, I was turned down for a place in a college science and math class. I was told the class was full (there were 200 students, 2 were men) but on my way out a wo…

I don't care about content of jokes, I want hypocrisy to stop. But yeah, look at how the parents react, they already see her being rude on the phone and they're smiling, then she mentions it's a boy and they get upset.
/r/MensRights02/02/15 03:17 PM

What are those jokes though? Just curious because I'm guessing they translate as "sorry it's a girl because they're going to have a hard time in the world." I'm fucking tired of the hypocrisy. I actually don't mind them making this joke, it's just that if someone else made the same joke about women there would be a literal shit storm. We don't have free expression anymore, that's what offended me about this.

The parents react to what she says, not to her actions. I honestly don't care about that though, it's the hypocrisy that bothers me, we're only allowing free speech as long as people talk about certain subjects or tell jokes directed at certain people. Kind of reminds me of religion's idea of free will.

When it was done on family guy I'm guessing it was something to do with China? Or "because they're going to have such a hard life"? I'm so tired of the hypocrisy, I'm happy they can tell their joke, just let the rest of us do the same about women.
/r/MensRights02/02/15 03:01 PM

Just let them carry on with it then. Let them keep the hypocrisy up while being patted on the back and getting patted on the back for it. I wouldn't give a shit if they didn't care when someone said the same about a girl. I'm not offended by it, I'm just annoyed by the unending hypocrisy.
/r/MensRights02/02/15 03:00 PM

I've been making this specific argument for a long time now so I was actually stunned when I saw this. If you look at TV, movies, music and now they're trying with games, they're all usually aimed at men and women or just at women. I can't think of anything that appeals 100% to men. It's seen as offensive for someone to say "I want a complete male demo" and not cater to women just a little bit.

It's enraging that this is how feminists argue. I've never seen one of them cite a fact or recite a logical argument. They just make free-form assumptions with "This is due to patriarchy." at the end of each paragraph. It goes nowhere, the public doesn't listen to them but then agrees with and trusts them and fights on their side. Then laws get passed.

I was surprised to hear Joe Rogan argue against this a while ago, he said that you can't complain about a male issue if it's men that are causing it. I think he was talking about prison rape and how MRAs should shut up about it, it makes them looks stupid. I'm paraphrasing terribly.

I've honestly never heard anyone say any of those things about women, just that people shouldn't say those things. That's the only time I've ever read or heard them, when someone is saying "you shouldn't say or think this:".

I stopped reading before that part. Wow. Just fucking wow. You're right, that's incredibly embarrassing. It's basically "sorry for saying this. Sorry, am I disturbing you? umm... umm...". It's like a joke. And then one of the comments says something about he shouldn't disregard women's experiences. Jesus.
/r/MensRights11/06/14 02:37 PM

Why does the comment on there say "you may not want to diminish what women have been through"? Why is this ALWAYS said when a man goes through something? And feminists accuse MRAs of "what about the menz?". Really? Every time a man has something done to him do we HAVE to acknowledge something that happened to a woman once, in the past, maybe, some time, somewhere? Even if it isn't some specific woman? Let us morn for all those women instead of for the person that something actually just happened…
