I think when it comes to child birth it is absolutely up to the mother who she has in the delivery room with her at the time. It's a huge ordeal and she should have the right to pick and choose who is in the room at this vulnerable time no questions asked. In saying that this doesn't mean she thinks any less of the people that are not in the delivery room with her! People need to not take it personally and respect the mothers wishes at the time, she's doing all the hard work and at the end of th…

This is just insanity...like I can not believe the mentality behind this. I really This is a turning point for her and she moves on from him.

I know how you feel so much. My best friend is in a relationship with a LVM and I’m gotten to the point that I have put distance between us because I can no longer take on the emotionally draining task of trying to build her up, only to see her fall again over and over. For the sake of your mental health I think you should distance yourself too. This type of situation can take a huge toll on yourself without you even realising till it’s too late. Xx

Same as me girl, I had the absent no good father, pathetic LVM stepdad and the pickme mother (all females in my family sadly) It’s taken a while to build myself up and know my worth but I’m getting there everyday. I couldn’t agree with you more on how much absent and bad fathers do damage.

I know right!? It’s like why would she even need to ask internet strangers what to do in this situation?? Stupid women like this put children as risk. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever, it’s pathetic!

If they are gunna ban this sub should we make say a very private Facebook page with a code name? I like the idea of a website too but they are a bit tricky to create as opposed to a Facebook page? This sub has really helped me through some tough times and I’m sad to see it go.

I’m just coming to the realisation now that men can do this easily and not see a thing wrong in it at all. I’m in a situation like that now and learning the hard way that they don’t feel the shame we would.

My friend has been in an abusive relationship with her partner of 10years and it’s the most horrible thing in the world to experience. The shame and hurt from having someone who claims to love you hurt you in such a way. Last New Years he choked her to the point she almost died. Last week she finally left him for good...I feel like if she stayed any longer she would have ended up as another statistic. My heart breaks for these poor women that never made it out.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
