Dude how did you even turn it into his girlfriend being the asshole? Shut yo' dumbass down. We don't even know if she cheated, we for sure now that this asshole made her birthday about him. We know that he thinks about cheating because he has other options and that messed up his mind. OP, break up with her. Yes, you are a selfish person. Yes, you have eyes for the "options" around you. Do not let her feel like an option. And if you can't keep it going, do not do long distance relationships.
