Yeah, I hear you on that. Been working on that for a few months now. Just remember, be critical of yourself first, at least when you have stripped down everything to the bare facts, if it really isn't you, then it is definitely her :-)

By the sound of that response to Braddowski, there could be reasons. You need to be calmer. :-)

Soon as you say messing with your head, it is time for evaluation of what is in your head, and whether she is worth having around. Either way, something is going to have to change.

I liked that last part of the sentence. Not making women their number one priority. There is a lesson to be learned there also!

I learned that from volunteering at the Parlympics in London. Seeing a bunch of hot girls go nuts over some of the male athletes made me realize that it isn't so much the external disability that is important, it is what you do with it internally that is important. I plan on getting back into cycling this year and hopefully go competitive sometime next year or so.

What? Ok, not sure if you are mutanty or not, but sometimes having visible medical conditions kinda puts you ill at ease in situations where people say looks and stuff is paramount, like dating. And since this was one of my first successes in random flirting, I just had to share for those of us who may be mutanty.

Thanks. It was actually kind of an eye opener to be honest. It actually felt fun and relaxed. Now if I can manage that with this lady at work I do like, I will be impressed.

My ex wife was like that. She ripped up letters I found out later, from a friend I had been in touch with since I was 13. She only liked it if I was around her friends, hated me having my own female friends. This almost led me to having an affair with this rather hot lady I worked down the way from. Looking back on it now, I should have had the affair just to have put an end to the whole thing sooner. But yeah, dude, don't make the mistake of changing yourself for that. It has taken me nearly 14…

I have to agree with this. As much as men like to play the blame someone else game, we also need a challenge. We don't have dinosaurs to hunt, big cats to get in death fights with, no hand to hand fighting, our jobs become more sedentary by the year, so we don't have an outlet for all this genetically driven body and mind we have. So yeah, again as much as I need to get back into my game, men need the challenge of winning things. Once we win something, then we are happy.

Remember, we are all the same colour(s) on the inside. SO yeah, you might be a foreigner, but hey, we are all human, and no matter what, that is important.

Hey Seddit. I have one for you. I am 38, not an old grumpy 38, but a generally easy going mutanty 38. I am generally fit and active when injury isn't an issue. I have been divorced in a rather messy way, and broke up with an excellent woman as I didn't want kids and she does. What do you suggest for us more older chaps in the way of dating tips. Honestly, I am in the process of reinventing myself. This started with a good deep internal look at myself. I have changed a lot of my outlook on life j…

I went through the same thing with texting as well. I have to say, not the best strategy. It started out the same, great texts, and we are both busy, but still, I let it run course for about a month, and said stuff it, time to turn my attention elsewhere. Cut her loose and look for someone who likes human interaction.
