Ehh, I don't think it has much to do with women wising up, it's more about how society in general has changed. Now a days women don't need a man as much as they used to. We don't live in a society where males go hunt in order to provide or have to actively fight other tribes and stuff like that; also women don't have to stay home raising lots of children in hope that some grow up to keep the tradition going. Now the roles have equalized a bit more and it doesn't make sense for women to take the …

It's literally impossible to know who hasn't contemplated suicide after small crimes, my anecdote was just a small example of how many other crimes that have no deep psychological impact there are, not part of a statistic. It's a bad generalization to assume any crime would make you more likely to contemplate suicide. As for what statistics show that you might be more damaged than the average person who hasn't been through a violent crime you quoted it yourself and agreed to it, 4.1 times more l…

The 4.1 times more likely to contemplate suicide is a good statistic to understand how rape can affect a person. I'd agree with you that other violent crimes might have similar rates as opposed to people who've never been through any crime. It still shows how it is a downside since most people don't go through those violent crimes. I've been victim of robberies, I know people that have been too and in no way it makes you contemplate suicide.

I don't think men in general have a harem as their sexual fantasy. I think the average guy would be pretty satisfied with a monogamous relationship. I think you're a bit wrong there. As for women I don't think I've asked this question enough to be able to generalize but from what I've seen I think you're right. I'm not sure if you're a girl, but if you are, how do you feel about it? Would you prefer to get your sex from a relationship? And if so, why would you prefer to be in a relationship in o…

How often do you think that this is actually true? Sex + commitment = relationship. Do you think women in general seek relationships to get their share of sex and men seek casual encounters to get theirs?

I'm the same man, I've sleep with lots of chicks I wasn't attracted to. Mostly because I'm either bored out of my mind, drunk as fuck or I'm wingin a buddy and I'm banging the ugly friend. Sometimes it's crazy fun, sometimes I feel like shit just right after coming.

So if you're hot you have more choices and have more chances of banging whoever you want? Wow, it would have never occurred to me, this is a breakthrough ibn human relationships. Good job m80.

Do you have a source for your data? Engineering programs rarely have similar ratios.

How so? He said women in engineering still date and have relationships, he didn't say that they date other engineering students. It's not a closed market, you can date outside of your major m80.

So you're saying most guys look like shit but if they're hot then girls will want to fuck them? Where are you getting this crazy theory from?

Wouldn't the "contract" of having kids be even more important in the eyes of society? And don't also your children sort of owe you being successful? It's expected if you provide good education and nurturing that they become good members of society. Also, sexless marriages are not that uncommon, I agree with you it is expected when your husband/wife, but it's not always the case. I also think about how rarely sex drives match in couples, there's usually somebody hornier.

I was just joking, there was a meme going around a while ago about how a girl thinks having glasses makes the guy nerdy, lemme see if I find. And you're right, as long as you don't break the two most important rules of life you should be fine.

You can argue the same with a relationship, you decided to have the relationship, there's no real contract. I mean as one of the mates in a relationship having sex is what you're hoping for but it's not a given.

In reality a guy doing a girl a favor will have a bunch of different reasons, like wanting to be "good", enjoying making someone else happy, spending time with the girl and looking good in front of her. I can't even, you're so naive what does even being good means? Looking good in front of her in order to what? This is pretty much manipulation at its most basic, you show somebody your nicest side and do things for them so they can like you. There's so many holes in your logic.

You might use semantics to spin it as you like but "=" = "is always". caricature Sure, then you say it's just a small percentage, as if that's something you can either prove or argue. FAIRNESS. That settles things. All I needed to know really. E: and yes, sex is a transaction, there's an exchange if goods. And what do you mean how it's that bad, you go from having someone being nice to stop doing once it you start paying them attention. Also itry to see the meaning as one cohesive idea instead o…

Some parents have lots of expectations. That's also a "transaction". I support and nurture you, I expect you to be successful.

Are you really serious? Don't you even look at what you write? The first response from me to your comment was because you said, and I quote, "doing somebody else a favour is always a sacrifice."; that was not even an interpretation from my part. As for your second question, I'm taking about guys that are exclusively nice to girls just in order to sleep with them. A lot of guys are just nice to get laid, then they stop being nice and doing favors. That's also a potentially bad outcome for a girl …

How can you not understand what you write? How can sacrifice = favor, even after you found dictionary definitions that you agree with. That's why I asked for your definitions, to try to understand what you're trying to say. I also didn't understand your example, you say "isn't it better if the girl is also into him in this situation?"; not necessarily, it's better for the guy for sure, but not for the girl every time. If she picks this "guy" this could mean no more favors from other guys, no mor…

Nah, it's not about being repaid, it's about being helped when in need. Besides any single relationship is transactional, that's just the nature of human relationships. What changes is how you view and treat those exchanges. For you they seem sacrifices because I guess that you value your time/are incredibly busy with important stuff; then it actually is a sacrifice. Like the example I gave you, I love taking care for my friends pets for a couple of days, it's a lot of fun. There also favors tha…

Yes, I like drugs in general so for me any activity becomes slightly better when high hhehe. But you're right alcohol + weed does it for anxiety, but weed + alcohol not so good.

Just like they like nerdy guys? Where in reality it's your average good looking guy with glasses. If you find someone attractive it'll amplify his other good traits and diminish the bad ones. This is not news, it's practically what the spook "being in love" is.

Sorry but any noob will freak out if they get high. One of the person's I go out the most is a hardcore redpiller and everyone every time he's had a new guy with him and they smoke a bit they go full stoned mode. Even my friend refuses to smoke until after he's gotten a girl because it messes him up. You gotta be a hard stoner to make it work. Alcohol can help almost anyone.

You have a really strange concept of favors, what makes you say that it's always a sacrifice. I do friends so many favors that I know will somehow help me. A lot of it is help you to help myself. My friends are quite happy with me and I'm sure that at any point I can rely on one of them for literally anything. There's also favors that can be fun; just as an example,a couple of my buddies leave me their pets when they take a trip, it's not a sacrifice at all to take care of them, it's fun.

Chill m80, he was using that as an example. Besides when it comes to cooking it can be argued in so many different ways. You find it sexy from your buddy because he was already banging you, that was a small plus. If a random guy comes up to you and says you're doing it the wrong way I'm pretty sure you'll get upset and feel patronized.

Yeah, but like you already know, not everyone is hot enough to sleep with. I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong but you could make your life considerably easier and nicer by being just friends with girls. It's rare that you'd meet a girl with no hot friends herself; and you're already half way in, since you're not a stranger anymore, you become ''xx" friend. It's also great for nightclubs, some of the girls you meet might not be good enough for you to sleep with but they'll for sure do to …

What's the problem with having friends? Girl I don't want to sleep = pretty much guy friend. There's so many good things about being friends with average girls.

What's the point of answering if you're gonna say useless stuff like that. How pedantic do you have to be to see things so narrowly.

Problem is you're pretty much asking for trp again on your post. Improving yourself and gaining confidence haven't worked for you because in the vacuum like that it truly is bad advice. Pretty empty statement, doesn't mean anything and it doesn't tell you where to start. That's where trp comes and what trp does is almost the same but sort of taking shortcuts. Besides it seems you've taken certain things for granted, not everybody wants to be in a equal relationship(or at least it's not what make…

You'd have to look at the reason as to why the dog is attacking you; what if you're a thief and trying to rob the house and the dog attacks you? Then you'd think "Oh shit, I'm prolly dying" but also think "Wow, I'd love this dog to be my guard". Every work animal is chosen based on their ''personality'', the same dog that'd be great as a therapy dog wouldn't as a guard or rescue dog.

It's actually not surprising at all, there's been studies that say that attractive people inspire good traits(honesty, intelligence...), I would assume the opposite to be true too.
