I would never feel ashamed of my natural, evolutionarily gifted body.

What are you ignorant about? Fallacious arguments or bad science?

Scandinavia is part of the west. You just suggested it was normal in Scandinavian culture, and without it a man is not a man. Feel free to run away from your own bad argument.

TIL having your dick cut as an infant without your say-so is a “masculine tradition” of the west. LOL

Let me pull up the definition of mutilation for you: Mutilation: “Mutilation or maiming is cutting off or injury to a body part of a person so that the part of the body is permanently damaged or disfigured.” As far as I know, dicks don’t have lizard-like abilities to regenerate. So yeah, soy boy, circumcision counts as mutilation.

This is a fallacious argument. Its like saying blood letting or homeopathy is good because your grandparents did it. It is not based in science at all.

This is a great men’s health discussion.

Surgery is elective unless deemed life saving. Circumcision is done primarily under non life saving pretenses—though sometimes it is necessary (though usually in adulthood). So I agree. It is nuanced.

So it goes back to aesthetics? I’m glad when my girl’s shit doesn’t look like a roast beef sandwich. Maybe labia reduction should be a ritual surgery at age 30-40 or so for women? /massive sarcasm

Good on you for giving your child the choice.

How about you drop the ad hominems and argue the issue? Please explain how non consensual mutilation is okay in your world view.

I didn’t realize eye surgeons were giving eye surgery to infants without their consent. THE MORE YOU KNOW /s

I didn’t realize that the mutilation of children was an SJW position. I thought that was a simple humanist position.

Mutilation is mutilation no matter how you slice it. Pun intended.

You sound pretty intense about defending the mutilation of babies who have no say in a lasting change to their natural evolutionary anatomy. The appendix does no harm in humans when removed. But it can cause trouble later if it becomes inflamed or ruptures. You dont see people saying we should remove the appendix of all newborns, so you? Its an ancient religious based mutilation—yet you defend it with such vehemence. Go. Fuck. Yourself.

They should both be abolished. Period.

Wrong. The clitoris exists only as a pleasure. The urethra doesn’t pass through it, nor do any other necessary life sustaining processes. If I cut the head of my dick off, I would surely damage the urethra as well as reproductive function. I know this is a nuanced answer to your flippant comment, but try again.

Somebody has got to teach these kids how to speak properly. No, actually, I contribute to the global language imperialism scheme by teaching English to kids in foreign countries so they can trade with us, and you can ask them for directions when you go on vacation. :P

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
