2	Gender Studies Career He’s actually a philosopher of language and writes most his papers on such, he just happens to teach the course I am taking and he’s doing a great job! It’s not ‘men bad’ and ‘women good’. So far we’ve done some really interesting readings ranging from doctors addressing trans women in sports to an extension of Foucault’s power dynamics to feminism. 6	Gender Studies Career I am in a gender studies course right now and it’s fascinating. Extremely introspective and it has given me a whole new outlook on gender and it’s role in society. That being said, a whole degree in the field? Unless you want to pursue a PHD and do the whole academia thing, you’re better off pairing this degree with political science or some policy decision making or maybe psychology for a stem focus.
