are you just telling us what you think we want to hear, or what? Good question; nope.

Oh no, I have no illusions about her being special, she's just the only one I'm currently talking to with some attraction. Not by choice mind you; I work 8pm-4am, 6 days a week, so going out to the bar or parties is out of the question.

Well that's really rad, considering it all went down before I even found this sub.

While possible, I don't think it's fair to consider it the most likely scenario. edit: Or, hey, even if you're right, I shouldn't consider her the only option--that's the mindset I should be getting into, right?

Man, in a way you're right. I'm just thinking about tomorrow and not about in a month or 2 from now when the 3 of us are potentially working on the same shift.

I'm absolutely not sure of that, or I wouldn't have posted.

I'm also usually the funniest person at a place, so that's always a plus. Being able to get away making fun of people is a great skill. Haha, no worries there--I do standup comedy I am curious about what you mean by mimicking though--you mean like in the sense of somebody showing interest by unconsciously mimicking the other's posture/actions; i.e. I itch my nose and she instinctively itches her nose as well?

Yeah, mine was about the same age, whereas I'm younger and a standup comedian. While comic isn't the coolest thing in the world, it's at least more thrilling than construction worker, haha.

I like this thread. On one hand it made me realize "Oh, right, women cheat! Maybe I shouldn't have given up on that one that got a boyfriend." And on the other hand it made me realize that maybe she got that boyfriend because he has money, not because he's more interesting or fun.

Wouldn't admitting missing your ex put a little bit of dread into the current girl?

Wow, all great advice. I learned from the last one I was with that I have a particular "look" that I give that made her feel like the most interesting thing in the world (I was unaware I was even doing it, but have since identified it)--I'll have to try it out on this girl. Perhaps you're right about the waiting game too. I shouldn't rush as much as let things happen. With the last girl from work, I had known her for about a year before hanging out with her outside of work, and only a month late…

This was really insightful. Her saying she wouldn't date co-workers wasn't a shittest--she didn't say it directly to me, but to a different (female) co-worker. But you're definitely right about being able to build a fire in her though work-related exposure. I experienced this through the previous girl I was with at the job. We had slowly been escalating for months, and the first time we accidentally grazed hands on the job literally stopped us both in our tracks. Could you perhaps clarify what y…

Well like I said I've previously (last month) been with a separate girl from work, and that doesn't seem to have turned this one off (on, if anything) and they're the only 2 there that I'm interested in.

Don’t get caught up thinking you can ‘change her mind’, because that’s not how it works. Women don’t respond to logic, they respond to emotions. Learn to trigger the right emotions and she’ll be putty in your hands. * Can anybody clarify this further?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
