That’s because these are even fears that are socialized into men and women. Realistically there are way worse things that can happen to men then an embarrassing rejection.

My SO is a social worker and we’ve had many conversations. 2 interesting highlights from them: - she had no idea how common steroid usage in Hollywood is. She believed that all the muscled Hollywood actors were able to get into shape purely through working out - she’s very aware female gender role normative behavior, especially behavior things where it requires more sacrifice on my side, like wanting me to do yard work and manual labor

I think you’re reading too much into this. If anything, sounds like women are using you for sex. Also, if these women are just going to take the word of random Internet strangers over their experience with you, they’re not worth your time. Edit: read some of your comment history. almost sounds like you go out of your way to act like a player. idk, sounds like you want women to take you seriously but dont want to reciprocate on that front.

In my own experience, what I thought was loneliness was actually boredom. As I filled my life with more things (working out, building a website, house hunting) even though I did many of those things alone, I didn't feel lonely. The other thing I did was celebrate small achievements. Its a simple self-pat-on-the-back but it sill helps to see things in a positive light (just get to the gym, celebrate. just go to a social event, celebrate). I'm a cynic, so I believe that most friendships are friend…

That means that any time a woman says yes but really means no Without additional context, anyone who calls this rape is delusional. Women have agency and should be taken at their word. BUT, like I said, context matters. A yes coming from blackmail or clear threat of violence (has to be more then, he's a man, he might hurt me) is not a real yes.

At my last job I was working for a tech company going through a huge hiring phase. Like I'd be interviewing 5-6 candidates a week. Usually we'd do a phone tech interview, followed by a more in depth series of interviews. The bar for female engineers is definitely lower. I'd be doing second interviews with female candidates that shouldn't have made it past first round. I had an interview with a female candidate who is (was?) a mid level engineer at amazon. She couldn't do any sort of basic coding…

How can you have lots of sex with women if you also believe women should be traditional and not whorish? I think the main thing you're missing is that men mostly find RP because they often want more sex and/or to be in a committed relationship. So RP provides advice to both of those ends. So many of the conclusions you reach in your statements come from following 1 of the 2 "paths" (sex or relationship). RP is very against the idea of being in any sort of monogamous relationship in general. But …

I think a lot of men come to the red pill during a time when they are deeply confused, and often times frustrated, by there interactions, or lack there of, with women. TRP does in fact spell out certain truths about women in plain english that men tend to have to learn indirectly (ex. "social proof"). It's the very clear and direct language that TRP uses that tends to keep users there. Its easy to understand. Individuals feel heard. Individuals feel understood. But not enough members learn to le…

I'm a fan of The Orville (left a similar comment as yours on the show's sub) but it's Seth McFarland writing Brian from family guy all over again. He writes from is moral high horse at the top of his ivory tower and ends up having trouble seeing the ground below. The writing this season has gotten a bit messy. McFarland is inserting his own beliefs on the characters and show so much that he's become blind to the moral inconsistencies that stories display. He's too close to his own creation, whic…

A couple of things: 1) Ted Lasso. Great example of a tv male role model 2) Good role models rarely make for good tv. I could make the same argument about female role models. 3) You either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain. A lot of men who are said to be good role models are often marked as such because of their self-sacrifice (Ted Lasso being an exemption). Batman constantly puts is life at risk and multiple times just barely escaped fatal wounds.

but answers like yours are just toxic I agree. War is toxic. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. So the only democratic way to proceed now is to have a sincere discussion about, what do we actually prefer. The draft is not necessary when diplomacy an civility are all that is needed to end a war. But I'm talking about when diplomacy and civility fail.

As much as I'd love to live in a fair and equal society, the cleanup after a war that required drafting US citizens would likely not be pretty. It would likely be and grueling work every able bodied person. And yes, it may involve incentivizing having children and making it more difficult to avoid having children. It seems like a lot of people are looking at war through some weird left-wing rose-colored glasses when that reality is far from the truth.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/04/22 04:32 PM
-11

Yes, but the truth is that 1 fertile man can sire more children in his lifetime then 1 women can. Having more living women of reproductive age gives a country more options for increasing it's population. There's always the option of restricting access to contraception and outlawing abortion. War is unfair by nature. In war there's rarely a "nice", "clean", or "equal" solution to the problems it creates.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/04/22 04:02 PM
-15

Young women are more valuable from a reproductive standpoint then men. That's just a biological fact. Conscribing women into military service is just never going to happen. Even non-combat jobs can be life threatening due to the fact that many take place in viable enemy targets. That all being said, I personally believe the US needs to replace the draft with 2-4 years of mandatory (paid) civil service before attending college or going directly into the workforce. This could mean doing anything f…

That may or may not be true. It sucks, but an employer can fire an at will employee (which is like the case for OP's friend) for practically any reason with a few exceptions. A companies settle only because its less expensive then going to court much of time.

Now that their rich boomer parents are retiring/dying and they can't rely on generational wealth Where did the wealth go? The man raising a family enjoys a lot of advantages. He gets jobstability. He gets more career opportunities. He has his spouse's sideof the family to provide an increased safety network. His children willmost likely provide some form of support for him when he's older. The problem I see here is that ‘financial abortion’ often used to describe giving up financial and parental responsibility before the possible child is born. No one is talking about financially aborting post child birth (besides for the opposition who wants it make it look like that’s what the argument is about). IANAL, but I don’t believe Parental Surrender is enough to preclude an individual from having to pay child support (not positive on this though). So it’s possible that Parental Surrende…

This has to be a satire piece, right? The entire article is so tone deaf that I almost wish I had a physical copy to burn. Everything in the article is about ‘patriarchy’ and ‘privilege’. If that’s the level of depth the Democrats can muster to figure out why Black and Latino men are leaving the party, then they don’t deserve to keep them.

I thought this was a good video, but honestly if I was a staunch feminist before watching this, I would still be afterwards. I would say the first 30min or so, Peterson was on point. But towards the halfway mark, it's clear that he's exhausted with the "debate". The host rapidly fires questions at him, many of which he is not given enough time to answer. But if I held the feminist viewpoint, I'd think that he was fumbling and didn't really have an answer. And although it seemed as though Peterso…

Change happens slowly. It’s unlikely the minds of our current politicians and public service are going to much of a change of heart when it comes to men’s issues unless there is a shift in the way their constituents view those issues. The men at the top aren’t really actively doing anything because doing anything with regards to men’s issues is seen as hurtful to their careers. We need to be better about educating people, men and women, on men’s issues. There was once men at the top who didn’t b…

A lot of commenters already made some great points but a problem the Left has is it's "you're perfect as you are (physically and sexually, you still have to share the same beliefs as the rest of the left though)" so to speak. Restricting access to abortions keeps poor people below the the poverty line. Children are expensive. Middle class and upper class individuals can more easily go to a state where abortion is legal. This is to say that there can be malicious reasons that don’t have anything to do with sexism.

I think it's easier to see feminism as female rights advocacy and mra as male rights advocacy. Take either to it's extreme and and you get male or female supremacy. When one stops viewing the groups as pseudo-egalitarian its easier to understand the views each hold and doesn't reduce the need for either to exist.

Rising faster then men’s? No one should have to be the victim of violence but with that said, men are still far more likely to be physically assaulted then women. This is total bs, binary think.

I wouldn't necessarily just end the friendship. If those racist or misogynistic beliefs led this person to act in a a way that betrayed the friendship (ex. saying racist things about a mutual friend) then yes I would end the friendship. I think a lot of groups and movements become extreme when they become too focused in ideology and not enough on tangible goals. The best way to keep MRM from becoming extreme is to focus on goals. Get more men off the street. Raise awareness on mental health and create initiatives to ease the process of finding help. Study male high school dropout rate and experiment with solutions to reduce it. There's many more more but you get the point. Look at occupy wall street. It didn't have goals and th…

One of the most cancerous parts of feminism is the toxic belief that it instills in women that one is entitled not to have bad things happen to them. It’s a low quality motte and bailey argument. She equates MRA and WAATGM space she try’s to argue that all MRA spaces do is complain about women. The motte hear being “All the WAATGM sub does is complain about women” and tbf, that is a lot of what this sub does. But that’s not the argument she’s actually try to make. She’s trying to make the argument that “All MRA spaces do is complain about women”, the bailey, which is impossible to actually defend.

These women will never realize that the number of likes is absolutely meaningless. Biggest problem with tinder and similar apps is that they show how many people swiped right. One of reddit's biggest issues is trying to compare the entirety of the US with other countries like uk, canada, and germany. Cultures differ widely from region to region and even from state to state. Side note, take a look of the total population of those states you mentioned, you may find they don't make up for much of the US total population. That being said, the US healthcare system is a clusterfuck on pretty much every level. There's too many middlemen, drug makers, hospitals, and ambulance…

It's okay to cry for a day or two (maybe even a bit more) when a loved one dies, but if they can't stop for a month, then they are judged harshly the level of display of the emotion. I’d start by making attempts to get a straight answer also giving your own answer to the question. If you tell the guy that you’re only looking for something serious and no matter how you ask they’re still being dodgy, then that’s a red flag. Also be straightforward about your expectations in terms of sex while dating. Very straightforward. If your expectation is that a guy isn’t hooking up with other girls while he’s dating you, make that clear. But if that’s the case then he should be able to …

The biggest mistake I see women make is that they choose to keep their intentions ambiguous, which allows the guys they date to do the same. Nothing can stop someone from lying to you. But if you choose to take cop-out answers because you're afraid of losing a guy you like, then you're going to continue to get used. Example: Question: What are you looking for? Ambiguous answer: I'm just seeing what's out there. Straightforward Answer: I'm looking for something long term that eventually leads to …

I think this sub needs a rule that if you’re going to say X is based on Y theory then you need a link to at the very least a post (preferably sidebar material) that says as much. I’m so tired of RedPill theory CMV and discussion posts that takes something TRP states out of context.

Think of every term where a guy is good at picking up women, almost none of them have a good reputation: player lady's man (sometimes positive) PUA fuckboi (not necessarily good at picking up women) chad ect. But to be fair, women who get a lot of attention from guys tend to be called slut, whore, or a "girl next door" and only one of those is ever perceived as a positive label.

It definitely applies to everyone. From reading some of the relationship subs’ posts, the bigger problem is people don’t take what others say at face value. A lot of: “I’d cheat on you if...” “I’m not a good person” “...you do that and I’ll leave you” People often take these types of lines as jokes pr hyperbole that should be brushed off when they all should actually be treated as red flags.

There's really no way to honestly answer this question. If I was born a female instead of a male many of my life experiences would be drastically different. I don't agree that men expect the same kind of love from their romantic partners as they would from one's own mother. I do believe both men and women are taught the false narrative from a young age that love, specifically "true love" is unconditional and as such should be sought after. But don't get me wrong, the anger phase is important and it's good that TRP is a place that exists for men to make cathartic posts that are positively received to hel…

The small scale is known as "social proof". The idea being that women are extremely choosy when it comes to the man they will date/fuck. It's impossible to vet every dude but what if guys were already vetted? If a lot of people are drawn to an individual then that individual must have something to offer. More importantly though, you'd also want your offspring to have whatever that individual has because that will increase their chance at survival.

“A key that open many doors is a master key. A lock that opens to many keys is a shitty lock”. Women aren’t as turned off to the idea of a guy having a high n count and in some cases women are turned on by the idea because it means that the man she is with is a desirable one. Where it tends to work the other way around for men.

You’re title has nothing to do with your argument. You just made the same argument for why men should delete dating apps but didn’t really make any arguments as to why men behaving more attractively would reduce the percentage of single men.

Just stop. Do whatever the fuck you want. No one here is going to try to convince you to find a LTR. Critiquing the dating game is going to get you absolutely nowhere. Read the sidebars, improve yourself, and decide for yourself what’s worth the effort. FWIW I was always the one who had to do more work to get an LTR but after we labeled the relationship the dynamics would switch and my-at-the-time-gf that would start doing extra to secure the relationship.

For hookups: tinder and bumble. Just remember to be super attractive in all your pics. For LTR: What I’ve noticed is that most dating apps have a golden period where people who are actually looking for something serious found the app because the last one was overrun by people who just want to fuck. Noticed this with Tinder, OKC, and more recently Hinge. You’re best bet is to find a newer app that hasn’t quite gained popularity yet. But I’d advise staying away from dating apps. They tend to grind…

I mean, I could argue that RP men are winning. TRP is about maximizing one’s value to the point that you’re value is so great that it spans generations. RP men won long ago so much so that their offspring are RP by relation (usually through a trust fund). And RP men are still rising to the top today.

Men are more likely to be direct when stating something like that, while women are more likely to be indirect/subtle. This is why men can't point to a lot of examples because the examples come from life experience. Women are also way more likely to make fun of a man's physical masculinity (muscle mass, height, dick size) then emotional masculinity.

Let's be real, in his own mind Donald Trump is the most red pill alpha male chad to have ever walked on the face of the planet. You really could make the argument go either way. Rollo has been mentioning giving a speech at the 21 convention on the red man group podcast. Wouldn't be surprised if this comes up. I agree with you OP. There is a lot of hate and degradation towards women in this group that usually comes out in the comment section. Women on average have a different role to play in society then men do. Many here belive that role is inferior to the male role. So we then defend hateful comments with: Dudes come here in the anger phase, of course they make anger f…

That would actually be very stupid. The best advice is to say nothing. Contact a lawyer and let him do all the talking. If friends or family try to bring up the subject, brush it off and say that your lawyer is taking care of everything, end of discussion. That way it really becomes her word vs yours.

If a parent disciplines their child, then that child becomes motivated to make their bed in order to not to be disciplined again. Similar idea in the marines.
/r/TheRedPill23/08/18 05:40 PM
2

That's not true. Children are motivated all the time by their parents to make their beds. The motivation to actually do so depends on the relationship between child and parent. A soldier is motivated by his commanding officers to make his bed. Some people find JP and get motivation from him. It's that motivation that leads to the repetitive behavior that becomes discipline. People don't do things for no reason, there is always a driving force, real or imagined.
/r/TheRedPill23/08/18 05:17 PM

I disagree. All the things that you've stated "need to be done", you don't actually have to do. You don't need to do laundry but for one reason or another, you are motivated to wear clean clothes (I do it because I prefer not to smell like shit, you have your own reasons). Similar idea with dishes, and making your bed. Personally I don't make my bed. It's not because I lack discipline, it's because I lack motivation. I don't see a worthwhile benefit to doing it, so I don't. Maybe you do it becau…

This makes no sense. People learn discipline from motivation. I have disciplined myself to regularly go to the gym, but I was only able to, and continue to because I'm still motivated to keep getting stronger. But if I no longer had that motivation, then I wouldn't keep going. Likewise, someone may have the discipline to move a bucket of sand one grain at a time, but without the proper motivation, why would they? If I think of myself as a combustion engine, discipline would be the gasoline, an…

Training new employees is extremely expensive. Remember, while an employee is being trained, they are a net loss to the company. In addition, you can't fire an employee on maturity leave and you have to keep that position open while that employee is on leave. So now you've lost money from training, you have either a temp to permanent position that you need filled but would still have to train the new hire regardless. Solid video. I don't think Rollo did a good job answering the question about the purple pill. The statements he was making sounded incomplete. TRP reveals to men the evolutionary psychology of women and all that comes with it. Because this behavior is predictable, and beta male responses to this behavior is predictable, we end up with common scenarios that ev…

I agree with the fundamental message but disagree with your choice of technology. Calendars are nice but they are event and date driven. If you miss an event or task: boom! task lost in the void of time. My suggestion, buy a smallish bulletin board, some pushpins, and a pack of flash cards. Divide your goals into smaller tasks and give each task a due by date. Divide the board into 3 sections: To Do, In Progress, and Completed. But if a calendar works for you, no need to reinvent the wheel.

Think about it like rest days from the gym. It's good to take rest days, relax your body so that it can recover. But it wouldn't be okay to stop putting enough effort into your workouts or you even stopped working out all together. Using that same idea, take a one of your days off (or a weekend) to just relax, and appreciate all the hard work that you've done and revel in the life you created for yourself. The fact that these people are noticing you means that you are improving. Only if that person's intention never changes. Personally I started my self improvement journey because l wanted to get laid. This was before I knew of TRP so the basic logic was, "I'm fat and unattractive. Attractive girls are more attracted to attractive guys. If I want to have sex with an attractive girl, I need to become an attractive guy". That helped pull the HB8 that broke me into finding TRP. Now my intent is to just improve myself. Basically why tinder is shit for men. Men can see a photo of a attractive girl and know that he will be physically attracted to that girl (as long as the photo is accurate). Women tend to more attractive to the presence of male which is aided by physical appearance but not the deciding factor.

Seeing the red flags is only half the battle (possibly even less). The hardest thing is actually reacting to those flags. It's really easy to make excuses for bad behavior because "she's the one" or "she makes up for it by..." or "better then being single". I'm a strong believer that History courses should be used to teach critical thinking skills. Too much of History courses is learning the who, what, and where. Learning history is supposed to be about learning cause and effect. Not just about what happened, but why it happened. How do we keep getting into situations and what we can do to get out of them. How to examine situations from multiple angles. How seeing through the side of the opposition, gives us tools to avoid creating that opposition.
