I would argue it is, if not, then it's just as bad. Not only has it lead hundreds of men to suicide, it ruins many more lives, it's never punished, and it ruins the credibility of real victims. Obviously rape is terrible. It's a traumatic situation and no one here is saying it's not.

One i found is from mayoclinic which lists bleeding and infection as a common result of circumcision. One more serious result is this one which lists a higher risk of erectile dyfunction.

I'd argue it's a mix of both. I've heard dozens of stories of men killing themselves over false accusations, and i've also heard dozens of stories of brutal rape cases against women. One is particular I found was a woman who had just gotten raped, ran to peolle for help, and then THEY raped her too. India just seems like a really terrible country.

This has been a very common talking point and it makes no sense. If you want to focus on a specific group of people going through a problem, that's completely fine. But to deny or get upset at people who want to address the problem as a whole shows bias, maybe even bigotry on your end.

What that documentary is doing is one of the many reasons this abuse is allowed to continue. No one is willing to shed light on it, so it flies under the radar. The way I see it, if they're not going to show EVERY angle, they should not be allowed to present their series as fact, and they should at the very least have to put a disclaimer at the beginning of every episode exolaining their bias.

Those paintings are direct copies of photographs, so it still counts as revenge porn. Also, she is stealing his likeness. Aside from being illegal, it prevents her from claiming copyright. And I'm fairly certain we're going by American laws, as OP's post history says he's from North Carolina.

The fact that women aren't excluded from positions of power. One of the main characteristics of a patriarchy is women being largely excluded from power. The fact that we have female congress members, a female vice president, and a female presidential candidate just 6 years ago largely shatters the idea of a patriarchy.
