Thanks! Chomsky’s now teaching at my alma mater... interesting (and sometimes very stubborn) guy. Still a genius though.

Any literature you could share? I’m American so I don’t know much about European views.

You realize they’re two conflicting ideologies right?

Libertarian Socialist huh? That means you don’t really know anything at all. Don’t brand yourself as this. Anybody with any sense will write you off as a moron.

Sorry man but your dad has it 100% backwards. If a lover/wife is misbehaving it’s a man’s responsibility to inform them in a very direct way that if things continue this way he is out. By not doing this he is implicitly saying that she has the power, and, like a spoiled 2 year old testing their boundaries, the behavior worsens.

I understand man. Honestly it’s about precedent. If you’re not willing to put up with BS from the get go then it never becomes a habit and they wind up shitting on someone else (or getting better which is what happened for me). But not setting the stage early is fatal.

That was pretty messed up. You need to own at least half the blame. I’ve been in a serious relationship with a BPD and nipped that shit in the bud. “If you hit me like that again...” [my enraged eyes squarely fixed on hers while grabbing the arm that swung more strongly than an incel grabs his dick] “you will FUCKING regret it”. Or “talk to me like that again and you won’t ever see me again.” After a few months she was under my thumb and her symptoms all but disappeared.

Crabs in a bucket. Let them fail together.

Definitely agree. Most sentiments on TRP are 90% directionally accurate but it seems like some dudes on here have been hurt so much by women that they are truly hateful towards them.

Appreciate the response man. I'll definitely check into the different gyms and see what's up.

Good stuff man. Do you ever drink on keto? I cycle off on weekends for some beers but am considering quitting altogether and going full ketogenic. Also I’m considering starting BJJ once I move to Denver next month. A little bit worried since I’m 5’8” with no combat experience. I’m ripped as fuck though. Biggest concern is messing up my guitar hand and/or my programming fingers. Congratulations. My wife is adjusting to similar changes but I’m not as far on the journey.

Totally agree. Fate is a mental construct of the weak and the lazy. Make your own fate.

Why software engineers aside? Curious ...

This is one of my favorite books. Feynman definitely took the pill, though it seems he enjoyed it more later in life.

I'd cut out the oatmeal as well. Eggs, bacon and greens if you are going to eat... if not just coffee/butter/MCT oil. My wife did this with me and she lost 20 lbs that she wasn't even trying to lose (and is very happy about it). I do it as well but I can't really lose anymore fat because I'm very low already.

100% agree. Supplementing with some C8 MCT oil is super helpful combating the urge to eat carbs... I cycle so I can have some beers on the weekend.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
