Like I've said a few times now, we'll revisit this when the printed article is available.

I suggest you do the same.

I'll make my conclusion when I see the printed article.

Like I've said twice now. We'll revisit this argument when the printed article is available to both of us.

Like I said. We'll revisit this when the printed article is linked.

I guess we'll find out who's right or wrong when we see the printed article. Good luck!

Like I've said before Jake. I have not seen the full printed article. How the fuck am I, or you, supposed to know?

No.

No and no.

How the fuck am I supposed to know? I haven't seen the full printed version. And neither have you.

The online version obviously didn't include the graphic. So you realize that the printed version has differences from the online version. We only know of one of those. How do you know there aren't more differences between the two?
/r/MensRights22/03/17 08:38 PM

I dare you.

Jake, nobody has access to the printed article that contains the graphic. Do you?
/r/MensRights22/03/17 12:32 PM

You know the online article didn't include the image, right?

Kyoopy, I've been trying with this person. It's not going to work. Good luck.

Show me the link to the article that includes the picture.

We don't have all of the information you fucking idiot!
/r/MensRights22/03/17 02:37 AM

Can't you see that I'm not saying that ignoring the male homeless population isn't bad? I'm saying until we have all of the information, we can't make conclusions. That's just basic fucking investigation.
/r/MensRights22/03/17 02:19 AM
0

Jake you don't have all of the information. Why do you think you do? I dare you to dodge this.
/r/MensRights22/03/17 02:18 AM
1

Why would someone be so stupid as to ignore the 75 percent of homeless that are men?
/r/MensRights22/03/17 02:16 AM
1

And yet you still haven't seen the printed version which may very well have a male centric graphic right out of frame of the picture you think explains everything. And you say I'm dodging? You're making premature conclusions based off of an image posted on the internet. I'm not being dishonest. I'm just not signing on to your ill informed and faulty logic. Have you ever visited the Donald? You sound just like those buffoons.

This is a loaded question containing an opinion of yours that I don't agree with. How can you expect me to answer?
/r/MensRights22/03/17 01:53 AM

It depends on the context of the article.
/r/MensRights22/03/17 01:37 AM

What's the question, Jake?
/r/MensRights22/03/17 01:10 AM

What's the question again?
/r/MensRights22/03/17 01:01 AM

Apparently you have no clue what an accusation is. Even if you had flat out said yes to my QUESTION, I would have just accused you of sexism not hatred. You're being incredibly unreasonable.
/r/MensRights21/03/17 05:46 PM
0

You're getting desperate Jake. Using lies only serves to invalidate your already weak argument. I have not accused you of hating women at any point. If you think you can read my mind, you're sadly mistaken.
/r/MensRights21/03/17 05:33 PM
0

Again Jake, where have I said anything about you hating women? I would be happy to respond to the rest of your post when you explain this statement which I am sure is I lie.
/r/MensRights21/03/17 05:22 PM

When have I said anything about people hating women? Now you're just straight up lying, Jake. Please educate yourself further and expand your perspective. Peace
/r/MensRights21/03/17 05:17 PM

Just because the problem is "smaller," it doesn't mean it's not worth highlighting. Would you be this upset if a single graphic in an article about sexual assault highlighted the 40 percent of sexual assault victims that are men? Would this be ignoring the "larger" problem?
/r/MensRights21/03/17 04:54 PM
0

The article is NOT doing that. That's what you can't see through your narrow lens.
/r/MensRights21/03/17 01:25 PM
1

Well that's obviously not true lol

You mean the ONE PICTURE of a PORTION of the printed version. How do you know the aren't other graphics?

Have you seen the printed version of the article?
/r/MensRights21/03/17 01:25 AM

I'm not saying I'm right. Just saying I don't think it's possible to communicate to you what I mean based on your previous responses.
/r/MensRights20/03/17 11:48 PM

I can tell explaining why would not help you understand. I don't think we're going to overcome the communication barrier between us.

There is nothing wrong with that graphic without the necessary context needed to make an informed opinion about it's meaning.
/r/MensRights20/03/17 11:31 PM

They also didn't mention the ages, origins of birth, hair color, blood type, family, or ability either.
/r/MensRights20/03/17 11:21 PM

When I said of course not, I meant of course it doesn't detract from the large scale issue. Sorry if that wasn't clear

Read the article: http://www.metronews.ca/news/vancouver/2016/05/31/vancouver-homelessness-at-record-levels-2016-count.html
/r/MensRights20/03/17 11:10 PM
1

Also, what is absurd about this article? Is it just the graphic you have issue with? Do you get angry at pictures of women that don't have men in them?
/r/MensRights20/03/17 11:10 PM
1

Then I guess we'll have to find the printed version!
/r/MensRights20/03/17 11:08 PM

They are literally just describing the demographics that make up the homeless population in Vancouver. How else would you do that? Minority populations tend to be over represented in the homeless population in many places in North America. Are you saying that, in an article about homelessness, describing the demographics on that population is not relevant?
/r/MensRights20/03/17 11:07 PM
1

Then how can you say it focuses on minorities?
/r/MensRights20/03/17 10:52 PM
5

Of course not. It does highlight the problems with the knee jerk reactions in this comments thread!
/r/MensRights20/03/17 10:50 PM

You get the point though

What if the article is about homelessness in general? What if men ARE the focus of the article? How can you make any conclusions based off of a single picture of a single graphic from an article you know nothing about?

Please tell me how you know what the focus of the article is.
