What did you "leave"? I mean it's not like you can be a card carrying "feminist" right? There's a lot of feminists, they argue among each other and disagree with each other all the time. Were you part of some specific feminist organization or something? Or did you just stop calling yourself a "feminist"?

I probably could have worded that better, but I also might be misunderstanding your point. What I was trying to say is that it feels like you're implying that there is a level of coordination among women, whether it's intentional or not, and that's the part I'm skeptical of.

90% of women, especially young women, have no idea what they want. So what do you expect when you ask them for dating advice? Of course you're gonna get a shitty canned response that isn't particularly helpful. That phenomenon isn't exclusive to women, it's men too. And it isn't just relationships either, people just don't always know what they want for themselves, people don't even always know what they want for dinner, they're just trying to make it day to day. That's not necessarily a bad thi…

I've literally never heard anyone say this. Who tf is dating or getting in relationships without thinking their partner is attractive?

To be honest I don't know, but that would be cool if that was the case. I live in the US, I'll figure out the laws here if I'm actually considering a marriage lol. But you reminded me, I learned recently that marriages in China work by default what we would usually call a "pre-nup" situation. You can look up the exact specifics, but you need to sign a contract prior to marriage to split things 50/50 the way we do in the west, otherwise things are split more "fairly" between what each partner bro…

Nobody is saying if you speak out you're a bad person, you just sound like you have a victim complex when you say that. I mean speaking out isn't inherently a virtue, if I speak out to say "I think we should bring back slavery", I think that would make me kind of a dick. On the contrary there's plenty examples of people speaking out against abuse, and being socially commended for doing so. Someone speaking out against a genocide in Gaza might be considered a good person by some and a bad person …

I really don't understand any of your arguments, they sound incoherent. I do know what you're talking about, the type of guy who criticizes women in that way. That's always been kind of annoying to me, it's just lazy. Yeah, of course women think they can sense "bad guys", but men do the exact same shit with women as well. Everyone uses heuristics to make superficial judgements on people they don't know well, and not just with potential romantic partners either. It's literally just taking a part …

Anyone who is claiming 100% of men or women think the same and want the same things is so stupid they probably aren't worth arguing with. They're talking about a subset of women, maybe the majority, but it's still a subset. When you talk about "people who are married" that's an entirely different subset. Whose to say that the women in marriages aren't the same women they these red pillers you're talking about are thinking of? Also, what's this have to do with traditional gender roles? You can be…

I'm not sure if you're just pulling these statistics out of your ass, or if it's just some sort of statistically insignificant survey you're blindly repeating. I can give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it's the latter, but either way I'm pretty skeptical this means anything at all. That's one thing, it's another thing entirely to then go and give all these conclusions that you're drawing from this "data" and act like that means anything. Crazy work bro

women started to walk away from dating / marriage a few years ago The only thing this really speaks to is the sort of echo chambers you exist in online. Women are not walking away from dating or marriage in any kind significant numbers. It is true that younger people as a whole are in less relationships and getting married later than in the past, but to the extent that phenomenon exists it's more prominent among young men. Maybe there's reasons besides them "wanting" to get married, but regardle…

Youre right, but plenty of men go into marriages with assets that he would technically stand to lose should he get a divorce. I'm sure plenty of women do as well, but it's likely a small minority. The fact is in any relationship one partner is likely going to earn more and even come into a marriage with more financial assets.

Who the hell is saying only men benefit from a marriage? If anything it's women who stand to gain more often. But I'd also argue anyone thinking about it in such an adversarial way like that probably has bigger problems they should deal with.

Idk, my girlfriend isn't like you're describing nor are many of my female friends. They probably woudnt be in my life if they were because that sounds annoying lol. Don't get me wrong, I've known people like you're describing (I've also known dudes just as fake, it just manifests a bit differently), But sometimes when I see people say shit like this I just think you don't get outside enough, surround yourself with the wrong people, and end up with the crazy, misanthropic generalizations.

I think I agree for the most part with your conclusions, even if I think it's a little weird how you talk about boys' balls lol. But more seriously, the part I don't agree with is your pessimism. If you think that then cool, why don't you roll over and give up, meanwhile I'll keep trying to make my life and the lives of those around me better, and doing what I can to make the world around me a better place. I don't really see how you could be doing that if you truly believe what you say, I think…

For someone claiming "logical thought" as an inherent masculine virtue, I think it's ironic how bad your logic is in this post. Maybe we have different definitions of the word, but really I don't see how anything you said here is "logical". In fact, it reads to me more like a rather emotional reflection of your own feelings and views. Basically I think you're saying a lot more about yourself than about gender, men's rights, or the world in general; despite whatever your intentions are here. I un…

I'm not super familiar with this sub either, but assuming it's a place for people on the left and supportive of men's rights and issues, that's definitely what I would want! My view has always been what's best for men is what's best for women too, and vice versa. It's not a zero sum game, I'm better off as a man when womens rights are protected and women are well off. That's kinda why depending on the context I'll voice my support of feminism, or be critical of certain forms of it. Feminism isn'…

You misunderstood me on a lot of points lol. Sorry if I wasn't more clear. but everyone knows at least Marjorie Taylor Greenes but likely other radical women from either the right or left. Is there evidence this isn't just a thing about politics and loud voices being loud rather than something to do with gender? That's more my point. Being 'more agreeable' also means that they're also more inclined to agree with the narrative of their political leaning. I think we're defining "extreme" different…

To answer your question.. We should accept inequality where it exists naturally because ignoring it doesn't do anyone any favors, not men, not women, not anyone outside of that. I really do believe that. An average man can physically overpower 99% of women. You ignore stuff like that and any conversation you have about physical safety or whatever is gonna be straight up dishonest. On the other hand, if you don't have a uterus, you aren't getting pregnant. So I'm really not sure what you're argui…

Just have a look at the women who are in politics, they're almost always polarizing regardless of their side. Strawman much? lol. Seriously what's your evidence for this. I get the AOCs and Marjorie Taylor Greenes of the world are maybe who come to mind by virtue of being some of the loudest voices.. but for every one of those there's probably five like Betty McCollum you've likely never heard of. I mean part of the reason I take issue with this claim also is that intuitively, I would assume wom…

If women have the unilateral decision to end a pregnancy, even if the man wants the child, isn't that a case of the man's reproductive rights being denied? I agree with a lot of what you said, but this is just stupid. No.. it's not a case of a man's reproductive rights being denied. Because, I don't think anyone's "rights" involve forcing another person to carry a child to term. If you took this argument to it's logical conclusion you would be arguing against things like a rape victim aborting h…

You bring up a good point, but I think the OP did too. I'll say this with the caveat, everyone is different and what I'm saying is just what I believe to be true for a majority of people, based on my subjective experience. This won't apply to all men or all women. The part not being said by OP, is that of course the purpose of sex from a woman's perspective is to get pleasure. I'm not gonna use the word "orgasm" because I think in general women are more likely to not prioritize an orgasm during …

How do you know they don't have "hobbies" ? Are you talking with the normies? I'm not talking about you directly, since I don't know your situation, but I personally think what you bring up is actually why a lot of men(and to a lesser degree women) on here struggle with finding partners. It's the incessant scapegoating and making assumptions on top of assumptions on top of assumptions about people you're not actually talking to. A lot of the time these people don't even have to exist, it sounds …
