2	He ain't wrong Well the entire women's world cup generates around $100 million in revenue vs around $5 billion for the Men's World Cup. Taking the estimated $131 million in revenue for the 2019 women's world cup and the $6 billion in revenue generated from the 2018 men's world cup, the women's world cup generates 2% of the money the men's world cup does. 2	He ain't wrong The compensation structure for the men and women is of course more complicated than either side wants to admit. Percentage of revenue, tournament bonuses, and base compensation all play into it.
