Affection.

Yes. I’ve seen it. Many of us have, as you said: But sometimes you see some men and women bringing up how attractive men don't put any effort and still get love and attention from women , or examples of some men being the " prize " in the relationship . They are the “prize” simply for being attractive. No further effort required and women will have sex they don’t enjoy just to have this prize.

So it doesn't make any sense to think "If that guy was abused and has intimacy issues and is still able to get dates, then abuse isn't detrimental to dates" it should go more "if that guy who was abused is still able to get dates, that means he was able to solve his issues, I can do that too" This does not follow logically. A man getting dates does not equal solved issues. We observe plenty of men with girlfriends constantly talking about their trauma with said girlfriends and how it impacts the…

He fully knew his wife slept with other me and he did not. Nor did he get other women as far as I know. This was open information when he discussed it. My guess is that after you’re in a marriage like that, you get sick of not being in a marriage.

Damn you’re right. I’m tired man.

Honestly I just pulled a random well known comedian whose routine involved criticism without self pity. Point is, an observation is not automatically “crying in a comment.”

You people could watch a Dan Carlin comedy routine and call it a whiny little man child rant.

This is a subjective selection. You’re attracted to women. You’re going to find the women attractive. The only reason you care about what the guy looks like is your own jealousy.

Most of the lonely guys who think they’re so great but are ‘never given a chance’ aren’t actually that good. They just don’t feel bad about how bad they are. Because the women, at least, are mostly functional human beings. Words mean things.

So let me get this straight. You believe that any men who are lonely are bad people because otherwise someone would’ve treated them nicely. Conversely, lonely women are perfect beings despite being lonely for the same reason. Even to the point of also dismissing the male friends they have. And now you’re in the mood to argue that the claim “no good men exist anymore” is not about all men being bad when that is explicitly what both of you said?

Okay, so why can’t this NYT author, that you have chosen to argue for, recognize that a man not furthering a relationship after a date does not make them bad?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 08:16 PM

And how do you know that? Again, is your husband’s ex automatically in the right because she’s a woman (mostly functional human being)? My her standard, you married one of the bad ones. What does that make you?

Okay, let’s make it clear what’s being discussed. Claim: there are no good men Evidence: my female friends say so Counter evidence: author and female friends discuss men who are good but undateable for whatever reason. They even ask for their help and are told by these good men that no one could meet their standards. Which are, again, never discussed. Counter counter evidence: my good male friends got married and the lonely males are clearly bad people. Okay, now back to your point. No, no one i…

I don’t understand the metaphor or the conclusion. Who is being prevented for seeing the price of gas? Why would they not demand to know about every penny paid? I worked at a gas station, customers will absolutely make this demand over a 30 cent apple. What is vis-a-vis box in the current year?

This entire opinion piece is spend bemoaning men being bad for not meeting the standards of women. Specifically single mothers. Rarely specifying what that standard is. It just says “oh she can’t find values that aline but it’s not like she’s calling herself a feminist and ranting about her period.” Men are just bad because they don’t continue dating after the first few dates or “take drugs.” The author never sites a statistic about this. Just takes women’s opinions and describe men as a whole w…

I don’t understand why an issue can’t be acknowledged without proposing a solution. I don’t have a perfect unproblematic solution for war or ptsd, but it’s worth talking about nonetheless.

people downvote me and disagree, therefore I have flawless logic Wow, I didn’t think of it like that. What an enlightened and well thought out post here to trigger the kids.

Good satire has logical point to make, or at least points out a general flaw. This uses several leaps in logic to get to a desired point. Even if you believe in the desired point for unrelated reasons, this is not a logical path to get there. Therefore is bad satire.

Even still, your entire point relies on taking the abstract “at face value” and then applying to a global population (which the abstract makes no claim to represent) and then assuming people have access to the entirety of said population (they don’t) and then interpreting your own ideology into the missing parts. There’s no reason to assume the remaining 36.7% all take factors beyond attractiveness into account, yet you do. This is not how anyone should read a study.

My point is that I just want to live my life without spending another night in jail. For whatever reason it’s always a woman reporting me for existing.

It comes for us all. Yes, if you’re a white woman it’s significantly less likely. But anything else is fair game these days.

Because that’s not what we’re complaining about. Just because people act differently around their crush doesn’t mean they have to call cops on people who didn’t even talk to them.

Even if that’s true, men are also having less sex and relationships. Women are not. This could easily explain the same quote, yet you jumped to your preferred explanation.

White and tall, it carries a lot. Maybe not top tier for women looks wise, but in like the 3rd level of the hierarchy.

literally ZERO reason to lie or virtue signal, since most people are anonymous Not entirely anonymous and certainly doesn’t stop people from trying to conform to whatever social ideal they deem appropriate. but that doesn’t mean that those who say they don’t like that, secretly actually do. What people say and what they do are two totally different things. I’ve seen women rant about the low quality of men to the point that it’s questionable how they ever wanted or had a man in their life. Yet th…

Same thing that’s said on every tinder bio ever made. White, 6ft or taller, 6 pack, 6 figures, 6 inch and preferably more (rule of six I believe you call it), strong chin, small hips, and weighs significantly more than them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
