Not disagreeing with first line. Disagree on second. My opinion and lived experience: A child is a child is a child. The child isn’t responsible for either parent messing up. The child in question could still provide OP with all the joy his own child could provide. Yeah, not biologically related, but it doesn’t matter for anything of consequence. Not necessarily. The financial part of this I completely agree with you. Emotionally, it’s not black or white. One can feel compassion or affection for children without them being one’s own. I said it above, and I’ll say it again, compassion isn’t incompatible with going your own way. To each his own.

Depends on the relationship of the father with the child. If I’m close to the child, not being mine may not be as much of a dealbreaker, although it sucks financially, and that’s where the woman needs to be made to pay. I don’t think I could put a child through misery for no fault of her own. Compassion isn’t incompatible with going your own way.

Fat is unhealthy. Nope. Not all fat is made equal. We don't know enough about our nutrition to claim that. Case in point, subcutaneous fat. Or baby fat. Many indigenous cultures have been studied whose populations are fat by our social standards but they're not dropping like flies from heart disease for some reason. But I digress from the post, body positivity is great. Just not for everyone... and I'll be the judge of what is appealing to me, thank you very much.

Not necessarily true. Read up on dimorphism in humans, it wasn't always unequal. We think now that hunter gatherer humans were probably less dimorphic than when we started farming.

I believe the argument goes: society as a whole is better off without unplanned pregnancies leading to inept parenting and potentially poor circumstances for children. Arguments like the one above can be made by bicyclists for freeways and vegans for dairy farm subsidies, but the counter argument will always come down to cost benefit for the whole group.
