Yes, I always wondered why people think babies are so expensive. They are more "expensive" in time and energy but babies require less then what people think and they grow out of gear so quickly there is an abundance of lightly used things everywhere. Kids can be more expensive (for example, piano lessons and braces, private school for some families, etc)

My dad is 8 years older than my mom and was super involved. My personal limit was 12 years older but ended up with someone close in age. Lol. I don't understand the fuss about big age gaps as long as the guy isn't creeping on a girl straight out of high school.
