I have this same issue. I also look very young for my age. My post grad program has guys 3-5 years younger than me in age. Sometimes they will flirt or try to talk to me then get shocked when I mention my age. They always think I’m like 22 max. (Honestly I’ve even gotten 19 once at my old job). One guy even asked if I was married after he heard my real age?? 🥲 (I wish) But I’m also struggling to meet age appropriate men in their late 20s. I’m even ok with dating maximum 3 years younger or 6-7 ye…

Thanks so much this was super helpful! I wish I didn’t have online school, it’s like impossible to meet people now. I remember subconsciously using some of these tips back when I was in person which could explain why I was unintentionally attracting the nerdy guys (that I didn’t want).

I read through that but I’m having trouble thinking of what some good “bad excuses” could even be, any pointers?

Don’t be afraid to dress feminine! I also found that other girls gave me more compliments when I would dress up to school. A lot of people just get stressed out with college and/or wake up right before class so they just put on the comfiest or low effort garment in their wardrobe. Sometimes that’s perfectly fine to do - on the day of exam I’m going to being wearing comfortable sweats and little to no makeup as opposed to a dress and cardigan with heels. But personally, I feel my best on days whe…

Your point that most women are a pear/hourglass shape is falsely inaccurate. A rectangle shape is not rare it’s quite common actually. Pear and hourglass shapes are getting more common because more people are getting surgeries to attain that figure.

Omg I dealt with the same thing! I had “friends” who would tell me they wouldn’t date an Asian guy and would be like “why?” when I mentioned my attraction to Asian men. Those women exclusively dated white men and they had these negative stereotypes in their head about Asian men. Even my own mom would display lowkey racist thoughts saying she didn’t think Asian people were attractive and made comments about their eyes or any plastic surgery they would get. And a LVM guy I was friends with too (he…

Can we add this post to the FDS handbook? It’s super informative and more people should read it

One of my exes was a low-value man but one thing I appreciated was when I brought up myself (idk why, I was insecure back then) what he thought about makeup, my ex actually said that he doesn’t care whether a girl wears or doesn’t wear makeup. It’s whatever she prefers. And yeah, guys really should not have a reason to care about makeup especially when they’re conditioned to find made-up faces attractive in the media or the gross porn they watch. I’m glad you brought up all these questions that …
