I appreciate your response. For the record, this thread has shown me there are a few people in-between who are willing to actually discuss things and be respectful, which is nice to see. Thanks for that. I think some of what you're saying comes down to the whole he-said-she-said rabbit hole and we both understand that. No sense going down there, we'll never escape and nothing will be solved, haha. Different people- man, woman, religious, atheist, Black, White, poor, wealthy, etc. are all going t…

It seems that a lot of guys on TRP aren't too thrilled with continuing to "bang sluts" after awhile. Getting excited over that seems like child's play and a symptom of growing pains. A small number of men never leave that stage, but most of them do, or would like to. This is probably my own experience talking, because I actually have changed myself and my life. But you can change your life and make yourself happy, or the very least, at peace, with new circumstances that aren't as beneficial. All…

The problem is that it's not snark. They're having more success, but is it really success? Is it with the women they want? Are they happy?

History shows that humans are a bit more nuanced than that, wouldn't you agree? Maybe you shouldn't just glance at it. Countless studies determining what makes a successful long-term relationship have showed this to be true. Most human personality characteristics are found in the most feminine and the most masculine, and every gradient along the way. Honesty, for example, is not a feminine or masculine trait. It's the trait of a decent human being. I am surprised I have to explain this basic soc…

Working on yourself and improving you, your life and other people's lives is fantastic and extremely desirable in men and women. What you're forgetting is that self-improvement and awareness advice has been around long before TRP, will be around long after TRP, and represents the only valid part of TRP. Self-improvement advice in TRP is like the pieces of corn you find in a turd. It looks edible, but it isn't, and you can find the edible version elsewhere.

Better according to a basic moral standard in many cultures around the world. Better in the sense that they're not out to hurt or manipulate other people. TRP is a way to manipulate women and other people. Like attracts like, which is why TRP is filled with complaints about manipulative women. Oil and water just don't mix, it's pretty simple.

"as if you somehow have access to the inner workings of many minds at once and they work like the borg." The irony is delicious...

Yeah, sometimes you don't need to specifically talk about it. It's not a big deal, totally depends on the people involved. The vibes are important. And you being able to read that from her actually shows that you have social skills. Some of the grief you might read on TRP is because these guys don't have social skills. I remember feeling pretty stressed when I was still seeing and getting to know a bunch of people and then my now boyfriend showed up. That was also how I knew something was up. I …

I've purposely tried to set up my standards and behavior that way, so that a guy who wants a LTR will like it and know why I'm doing it... and everyone else will think it's bullshit. It's a filter and a reasonable one that I believe is fair to me and to him. We can slowly feel each other out that way, without getting caught up in a whirlwind. The whirlwind stuff is for later. I've been in successful LTRs and I was married (I had to leave because he was an abusive and mentally ill alcoholic), so …

I've seen it happen to me and my friends in various ways. It usually happens within several dates with a guy who knows what he wants and then finds it. It happens however the guy wants it to happen. Some men will ask if you're seeing other people and then say "would you like to only see me?", others will straight out ask you to be their girlfriend. A few times, I've heard of the two people just seeing each other so frequently that they don't have time for other people and other dates fizzle out …

A couple of them have acknowledged that this will work for her. But most of them are either too dense or too butthurt and stubborn. Not surprised. Fact of the matter is that it does work and it will continue to work. Just not on the guys in this thread or TRP... because they will have been weeded out already. That's the point flying over their heads. They're undesirable. They define "alpha" from a straight male perspective and then wonder why they have little/no success with most women. Even the…

In the very early stages when they've met up less than 5 times or so and he hasn't asked for exclusivity? Probably not a bad idea on his part. Personally, I offer cheaper choices and offer to split in the early stages, too. I'm not an asshole about it. But if he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend, I'm going to keep right on looking. Life is too short to waste all your time on someone if they're not on the same page. Once the commitment happens, the romance can start growing. Until then, I'm ju…

You're looking at this from the wrong angle. It will weed out guys with low self-esteem and no options for the reason you said. But you're off-base with everything else. The true romantic goes slowly and unless he's been watching too many chick flicks (in which case I would argue he is not a real romantic) he knows romance takes time to develop and he wants the real deal. In real life, romance is not a whirlwind that escalates by date number two. That's a red flag, not love. "Natural alphas" (I …

Let the circular and nonsensical arguments begin! Bottom line- anyone can date as many people as they want if they are not in a committed relationship. Once you have mutually agreed to exclusivity with someone, you cannot date anyone else, anymore. This is how it's done in the real world. End of story. Done. Fin.

Dating =/= committed relationship. I was dating 6 people at one point. I narrowed it down to 3 on my own. The one that I felt the most connection with asked for exclusivity on our 4th date. I said yes, and when I got home I let the other 2 guys know. He had already told the other woman he saw twice that he met someone else the previous day. Boom, done. It really is that simple, this happens all the time.

At first I was going to say "hey, don't tell these turds what the successful women are doing!" but then I realized none of us higher quality women care about the people reading this sub, so no one cares if they know. Hahaha, carry on. Your first point is a bit exaggerated. And the 2nd and 12th points vary more than that, depending on the people and the situation. But you're pretty much spot on. Women who end up dating and later marrying high quality men follow this pretty closely. It works like …
