Yeah, I laugh when I see guys talk like ALL girls are party sluts. Yeah, if you go to clubs, bars, raves, and house parties the girls you meet there will be that type. But if you go to other places to meet girls, you'll find the normal ones. It's honestly harder to find a guy who doesn't drink and/or do drugs. More guys do that than girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/16 09:02 PM
2

Idk, to me the idea of a man having casual sex or sex with a prostitute is gross, and I wouldn't date a guy who did (nor do that myself), but that's just me. But it's easy to figure out which girls have casual sex. Usually they drink and/or do drugs. That stuff doesn't happen sober, most of the time. Find girls who don't drink or use drugs, and never have.

Are you single? Yes. What do you look for in a man? Above average intelligence. 0-4 inches taller than me. Do you think men should pay for the Check when out on a date with you? Depends on if he wants to or not. And he shouldn't pay every single time, only half the time. Do you like chivalrous men? Do you believe in chivalry? Would you like it if a man opened the door for you, lent you his jacket? Yes, but he should also open the door for everyone. Not just me, and not just females. Women should…

lol "demure" most people think girls who like older guys are gold digging whores
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/16 02:42 AM
2

I don't think women hate men who go after younger girls, since MOST (not all) women date older men. By that same vein, women don't hate women go after older men since they too go after older men. It's rare you see a woman dating a younger man. It does happen, but most women date older. Personally, I would want to date/marry someone about 10-15 years older than me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/16 02:23 PM
1

I agree, but some men are like a crab bucket. They see themselves not getting sex and so they want to pull women down into not having sex, as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/16 02:55 PM
1

Then I think we agree? My whole point was that the father has to have a good relationship with the mother in order to love the child. Just pumping and dumping the woman won't result in love for the kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/16 03:38 PM
1

Okay...but a sperm donor is still bio father. Yeah, I think we're just discussing semantics--or, sementics--here. Sorry for the pun.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/16 03:24 PM
1

So is a biological father not a father, in your opinion?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/16 03:10 PM
1

Isn't that just semantics though? If the kids are biologically his offspring, and he doesn't consider them "his" because he doesn't like the mother, then that's basically just not loving them because he doesn't love the mother.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/16 12:55 AM
1

Idk, single moms often do it alone. Why not single dads?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/16 02:37 PM
2

Yet that is exactly what so many beta and omega men demand, especially the incels
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/16 02:36 PM
1

even hire another woman to help take care of them too. Why not just care for them yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/16 02:35 PM
1

Hey. You stole my question :)
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/16 01:30 AM
1

In this scenario, the kid IS biologically your kid, but you just don't love the mother because she sleeps around, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/16 01:29 AM
1

So would you say a father's love for his kids depends on his relationship with the mother?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/16 01:29 AM
2

Could be true. Idk. I'm not and none of the girls I know are, but we're all in the 18-22 range, so maybe that changes with age.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 07:32 PM
1

That's definitely true, I've seen that as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 07:31 PM
2

Yeah, I would guess that the success of single parenting has more to do with income and education, than what gender the single parent is.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 06:53 PM
2

That's an interesting insight. Thank you!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 06:52 PM
3

Agreed.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 06:51 PM
2

wasn't some slut giving birth to a child she should never have given birth to That goes to my second question in another thread. Does a man's love for his child depend on his love for the mother? Like if the mother of your kids is a slut who you're not in love with, does that mean you won't love your kids by her, as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 06:51 PM
2

Illegitimate children coming from slooty mistresses are much more hit and miss. That's my point. Father may not love the mistress so he doesn't love his kids by her, as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 06:50 PM
2

Well I don't have backup, other than that after couples break up and the father leaves, oftentimes he wants nothing to do with the kids as well as the mother. Or if the kid was conceived against the father's will, or on a one night stand.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 06:49 PM
2

That makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 04:55 PM

Really? I've only known two single dads. Both fought and won custody. One was a drug addict, his daughter lost her virginity to a 20 year old at 12 (statutory rape), he then died at 50 leaving her homeless. The other was a good man, but so old that he was unable to control his daughter. She got into drugs and alcohol in high school and never recovered. I'll admit that this is a small sample size and there are probably some really good single dads out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 04:54 PM
1

Yeah, I can imagine single fathers are about as popular in dating as single mothers.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 04:49 PM
-1

What I meant by that was that the fathers in these scenarios weren't willing to do the stuff that they would have needed to do had they had sole custody of the kids. Luckily they have wives to do it for them, but if they didn't...
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 04:48 PM
1

But what if they want their kids just because they love them and want to care for them? Men so often complain that women automatically get custody, implying that they would prefer to get custody.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 04:35 PM
1

Well, my dad never changed a diaper, did bath-time, or any of that stuff and he's married to my mom. I have multiple friends whose fathers are like that--providing financial support, marriage to the mother, but not really involved in the raising of the child(ren) Yeah, but I do know some guys, including my ex, who've never had kids and they say stuff like "when I have kids, I'll never change diapers/push a stroller/etc! If my wife can't, I'll hire a nanny."
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 04:33 PM
5

Idk, some men are opposed to raising kids--even when married to the mother--because it involves changing diapers, listening to the baby crying at all hours, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/16 04:28 PM

Sexual strategy is amoral for MEN. For women, they must be paragons of morality and chastity or else they are sluts/whores/bitches

In a sad, sad way, yes, they are hilarious.

lifestyle. Are we differing on the meaning of the word "lifestyle"? I'm saying men create websites and post about sluts every day. They devote their lives to hating sluts. Elliot Rodger even wrote a long manifesto and went on a killing spree because he hated sluts. Women do it in passing, once in a while, in gossiping conversations between small groups of girls. No websites, forums, etc. How does what women do even come close to what men do? Both are wrong, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/16 07:51 PM
1

anecdotal junk. SlutHate isn't "anecdotal" it's an actual website. look it up. are you going to just flat-out ignore the study I posted? Are you going to ignore the existences of male-dominated sites and forums dedicated to hating sluts? It's true, women slutshame, but they do it casually. Men do it as a lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/16 06:16 PM
1

How is citing ONE article not confirmation bias as well? It seems like you ignore the multitude of sources that show men slutshame women. Women might casually slutshamed. MEN created entire websites, forums and subreddits devoted to slutshaming. SluteHate, anyone? Show me an entire websites where thousands of women gather to slutshame other women. No such place exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/16 04:04 PM
1

Women aren't entitled to men's commitment, though, so no skin off your back on that. Never said they were and in fact said that they shouldn't be. women are the ones that treat promiscuous women harshly, avoiding forming friendships with them, etc. Men keep claiming this but I've never once seen a woman slutshame. Only men who don't get laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/16 02:59 PM

Why are feminists so concerned with what men in STEM do in their spare time? Why are feminists so obsesed with things like how Linus Torvalds runs his personal pet project the linux kernel? Why are feminists so obsesed with how videogames played by men in their spare time portray women. After all, none of this is their concern, if they don't like what these men are doing and how they are doing it they can just stay out of it. Never heard of any of that, but okay. I agree. They should stay out of…

Historically women could own property, vote at various time and in a few cases rule large Empires. "women" couldn't do this RICH, ROYAL women could. The average woman was restricted.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/16 01:45 PM
1

You have no idea how brutal men can be Um, it's very evident how brutal men can be. Husbands and boyfriends murder their wives and girlfriends at high rates. They rape at high rates. The majority of violence on this earth can be attributed to men. apparently women see how men treat other men as sexism. How men treat other men is between men. They're men and can work out how they treat each other for themselves. Just stop killing, beating, raping, etc women and kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/16 01:45 PM
1

Then don't assign value to women who sleep around. Men's value is commitment and money. Women don't go around poor-shaming betas. They just refuse to date them and move on. Men can refuse to date high n-count girls and move on. No need to harass.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/16 01:43 PM
2

I never said that they don't. But just because they're "shit partners" it doesn't mean that they deserve to be harassed, doxxed, revenge-porned, slutshamed, fired from jobs, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/16 01:42 PM
1

men wouldn't have to babysit. They don't have to now. Let women sleep around and men can mind their own business. Just don't marry the women who sleep around if it bothers you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/16 01:41 PM
1

Or don't shame, that's simple, too. "expressing sexuality" isn't being a whore. A woman can literally only have sex with one guy and still be slutshamed for it if she breaks up with him and the guy gets mad.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/16 01:40 PM
1

Well, if you have to break the law to do something you want, then it's not freedom OR entitlement. Pretty soon abortion will be illegal, birth control, too, maybe.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/16 01:39 PM
1

So? Show them that they're not by not LTRing them...don't harass them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/16 01:38 PM
1

Lost job, lost friends, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 06:39 PM
1

If you say whatever you think, then fuss about other people having the same freedom, I'm not trying to restrict their freedom of what they think, but they ARE trying to restrict the freedom of women's behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 06:38 PM
1

men had it no better. They could vote and own property. But other than that, you're right.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 06:38 PM
1

Poor women and nonwhite women denied the same rights as men and rich white women. That may or may not be considered "oppression" but it is different treatment based on sex, race, and income.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 05:50 PM
2

Yes, I agree. But my question wasn't about whether men should marry sluts, my question is why do men HARASS sluts and other women that they aren't attracted to/interested in dating. If you don't want to wife up a slut, don't do it. But why shame and harass her?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 05:45 PM
1

Why are you owed an explanation? Never said I was "owed" anything. This is PPD...we're supposed to debate. I'm starting a debate, which is the purpose of this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 05:32 PM
1

No, poor white men had it as bad as poor white women. I never said that wasn't true. Similarly, poor BLACK men had it as bad as poor BLACK women. Men's gender did not result is less harsh treatment, sometimes it resulted in more. I never said that wasn't true either. But poor whites had it better than poor blacks.

In any case, when I google "sluthate" a Red Pill reddit post comes up as the second suggestion: Beware of Slut Hate "Essentially they are very blue pill as they do not put their energy into self improvement instead they just hate women. … But overall its just a just an echo chamber of hate, misery and apathy." And the most upvoted comment: "I love sluts. They fuck our brains out, slob our knobs, and get the fuck out of our homes. Sluts are awesome." And yet there is so much overlap between dogma…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 05:29 PM
1

That's not at all what I said. If you read what I wrote I said it's fine to refuse to date sluts, single moms, etc...but just don't harass them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 05:27 PM
1

SlutHate (what is that even) That's what PUAHate became after Eliot Rodger killed all those people. But you're not going to understand the actual phenomenon if you ignore the large group of women who are doing it too. It's wrong when women do it, too...or maybe it's okay when women do it? After all it's okay when men fuck around but not when women do it, so maybe there should be a double standard favoring women for once.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:30 PM
2

Rich women don't devote online communities and social movements towards slut shaming. Men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:02 PM
1

Okay, I accept that.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:49 PM
1

It's not my business. Why impose my values upon them? I don't want them to impose their values onto me.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:49 PM
1

Slutiness is increasing due to increased policing of things like "slut shaming" and increasing proportion of beta men. Slut-shaming was a reaction to increase slutiness. A reaction that didn't work. Slutiness was already increasing before there was policing of slutshaming.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:47 PM
2

If you want to increase your opportunities, you are free to assemble with like-minded individuals and do so. Isn't that exactly what TRP and MRM want to stop? The feminist and other women's movements. so yeah, there's whining. So? They're a group aiming to increase their own successes. Yet when women, or minorities, or gays whine, it's "Stop complaining, you stupid PC professional victims!"
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:46 PM
1

White feminist solipsism would have you believe that white women's struggles in the West were equivalent to the black slaves or holocaust survivors, when they really had it no worse than the white men and in many areas much better. To call them oppressed is an insult to those who have really been oppressed. I'm black, so I know blacks and the poor had it worse than white women. But imagine being a BLACK woman. You can't vote, you can't own property AND you're a freaking slave. Great, right? If y…

Society is structured in a way that encourages it, though. Our society looks down on women who sleep around, so some men take it to the extreme and harass them. Men don't harass women for eating icecream or riding bikes. They harass women for what society is already against. If society didn't judge women for sleeping around, men wouldn't harass them for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:40 PM
1

If you believe and clap your hands, it is. "I do believe in shaming! I do! I do!"
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:39 PM
2

So SlutHate, MGTOW, and TRP are all women? Wow. TIL something new.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:38 PM
3

They don't want a culture where their children or potential partners see sleeping around willy nilly as the norm. You can't do that by solely trying to stop women from sleeping around. It takes two to tango. So if that was really the reason, there should be equal focus on stopping men from being manwhores...there isn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:38 PM
2

when it fact it might as well be thanks to the individual's own merit. I don't understand...are you saying that the right to vote and own property should be decided on an individual, case by case, basis? Women did not vote or own property en masse until feminism. Sorry. There were some rare outlier cases earlier but as a whole, they were not allowed to vote.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:37 PM
1

This is the USA. They're everywhere. They knock on doors, hand out flyers in public places, shoot up abortion clinics, give speeches in public schools...there is no escape.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:35 PM
1

Men sleep around without consequences. If they impregnate the woman, they can skip town and abandon the baby. Men rape without consequence. They gang rape some passed out drunk girl and then blame it on her and the alcohol. Funny how if a girl passes out and gets raped, it's her fault but if a man passes out and gets raped by another man...well, suddenly, the gay rapist has to go to prison.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:35 PM
2

Sure, but if she gets married and then divorces, she hasn't just "ruined" her life, she's ruined another man's, and possibly their children's lives as well. Do you care about other reasons for divorce, too? Or it's only a problem when a woman divorces man because she's slept around. There are so,so, so many problems in this world. Why the extreme and sole focus on that one? I have teenage sons that will likely be marrying one of these young women someday, and that makes it something I care about…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:32 PM
2

They care about how many men their wife has slept with I think that is the only valid reason to care. Anyone else, it's not your business. It's not a father or a brother or a friend's business who a female is sleeping with. If she ruins her life by sleeping around, oh well, that's her life to ruin.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:30 PM
2

Not the men in prison. So the hardworking men are paying for the nonworking men just as much as they're paying for nonworking women.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:14 AM
2

The damage is done by then, but yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:13 AM
2

An opportunity is not a right. And yet we have a subreddit devoted to men complaining that they don't have equal opportunity to sex as women do.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:12 AM
2

You didn't answer the question. Is contacting an unsolicited dick pic sender's parents and/or girlfriend to tell them what the sender did okay? Or is it only okay to distribute female nudes?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:11 AM
3

TRP may think women are lesser than men (I really don’t know) but that also means they will hold men to a higher standard and shame them extra if they fail to meet that standard. ...you would think so but actually, no. Although TRP believes women to be inferior at the same time they hold them to a higher standard than men. They believe in AWALT. So all women are biologically programmed to seek out sex from alpha males, yet when women do just this, TRP calls them sluts--condemning them for the ve…

A common code of morality is enormously beneficial for society. Yes. But it shouldn't disenfranchise some groups while giving all the rights and power to another.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:08 AM
2

That is literally what I'm talking about. The harassment of women by men who believe them to be sluts.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:08 AM
3

You're playing dumb like you don't know the difference. A friendly roast between two male friends is different than a man stalking his ex-girlfriend or a dude calling a random woman a "slut" on the street. Don't pretend that they are the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 04:02 AM
3

If that is true, how are communities like TRP, SlutHate, MGTOW and all the others even able to exist?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:58 AM
3

ALWAYS been society's place to deal with sluts and in general to regulate the behavior of its members And that is wrong. Individuals should do whatever they want as long as it's not hurting anyone. You can't criminalize sex between consenting adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:58 AM
0

But if you read the article, his reason WAS that he believed she was a slut. It's in the first paragraph.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:57 AM
3

I know what's going on when it's directed at women. I don't care about what's directed at men, that's for men to decide how they want to interact with each other. Women don't want to be harassed. I'm not speaking for men, I have no idea if men want to be harassed by other men or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:56 AM
3

i've witnessed it, it's called trp
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:55 AM

No, they're exactly the same thing. This one situation is a drop in an ocean of men harassing women for perceived sluttiness.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:50 AM
2

Why is stalking/harassment warranted if a woman sleeps around? Is it warranted if a man sleeps around? Men live without consequences for their actions. Only women face consequences.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:49 AM
3

It's not society's place to "deal with" sluts. If a woman wants to sleep around, let her sleep around. Nobody's forcing you to marry her.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:48 AM
6

I talk the most shit toward my friends. But do you really mean it? in a hurtful way. Men who harass women aren't doing it in a playful, fun way. They're being serious. Say what you want to your friends. Leave strangers alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:48 AM
2

Just because you send a nude picture to ONE person doesn't give that person the right to share it online or with others. If you believe revenge porn is okay then do you also believe it's okay for women to contact the families and girlfriends/wives of the men who send them dick pics?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:47 AM

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/nov/19/revenge-porn-victim-maryland-law-change This woman's ex-bf harassed her over the skirt she wore, then made a fake account with her picture on the internet and sexted with people. You think men don't harass women when they think she's a slut (even if they don't know for sure)? Here is proof.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:24 AM

Same thing with your question as to why "men harass sluts." The venn diagram of this group with people that carry about N-count but don't "harass" is overlapping but should not be thought of as completely overlapping Well, the ones that care about n-count but don't harass, I don't mind. I'm only talking about the ones that do harass.

Scenarios like this: Man and Woman have been dating awhile. The subject of n-count comes up. Woman admits to sleeping with 10 (or whatever number) guys. Man is enraged. He jumps up, shouting "You fucking whore, what's wrong with you? Disgusting slut!" Woman leaves. She then gets multiple text messages and emails from the angry man. ugly girls get zero attention in real life. I know because I used to be an 'ugly' girl, now I'm just a below average girl, so I still don't get any attention.

Then those weren't friends and that's not family you want to have in your life. You can't eliminate 80% of society from your life, it's impossible Also losing a job is where you sue the company for wrongful termination. It's not that easy. Many states are "at will" employment states, meaning a boss can fire you for any reason or no reason at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 03:07 AM

How is harassment the solution to that? Harassment is actively harmful, so if they believe that sleeping around is harmful and yet participate in harmful activities themselves, like harassing women, then they are hypocrites.

gender studies classes, never took a gender studies class and never will. As for the 2nd and 3rd wavers, I'm not talking about them. I was talking about first wave. If you're going to argue that women shouldn't vote and own property, there is nothing you can say to convince me.

One way TRPers protect themselves is by avoiding women who they see as sluts, because they see them as the women most likely to screw them over I never disagreed with avoiding sluts. I want to know why men HARASS sluts. All men are capable of this. Just like all women could be sluts, divorce rape, cheat, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 02:10 AM

Yes. But that wasn't my question. My question is why do men like to harass and shame whores? Why not just refuse to marry them and avoid?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 02:08 AM

Online really isn't an accurate reflection of real life, though. TRP finds that men who have no trouble pulling girls at bars/clubs/daygame struggle online because standards for men are amplified online. An ugly girl might get attention on the internet but that doesn't translate into real life attention, sex, and relationships--especially relationships.

Also how will a man record you withought you kowing? If you read TRP, you'll see men talking about how they install hidden cameras in their homes to record women in order to avoid false rape charges. Many women have lost jobs after exes/stalkers harassed them at work. Google it. It's how I heard about it in the first place. Men don't always tell women that they're recording Many do it without permission.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 01:47 AM
1

How could i possibly not be concerned about it? Concern...maybe. why so hateful though (Not you in particular, just men in general). Also, it's not actually true in real life. Men talk about how women have unlimited options, but they really mean the young, pretty, skinny women.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 01:46 AM

Yes, but there's a different between free speech and harassment.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 01:45 AM

Because each woman who sleeps with a lot of men is one fewer potential woman that these men want to be with. So it is sour grapes...
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 01:16 AM
2

It is a minor act of rebellion and a "fuck you" to the politically correct crowd who want to tell men what they should think and be permitted to say. If that is so, then maybe women sleeping around is an act of rebellion against the society that wants to tell women what they should do with their own bodies. So, essentially, men are doing the same thing women are doing and yet complaining about women doing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 01:14 AM

So a scat fetish is equal to a woman sleeping around?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/16 01:12 AM

especially if they are druggies or in prison or something. And we're paying for that, too. So why complain about single moms on welfare but not about the millions of men we house and feed in the prison system (which is more expensive than welfare).

If you (or anyone) wanted to date the high n-count woman then they wouldn't insult/shame her for her n-count. Either accept the n-count for what it is, or move on if you don't want a girl with a high n-count. Don't harass the woman about it. So basically, it's sour grapes?

Many incel men don't try. They have standards that are too high for their own value. Like a fat incel dude who only wants a skinny girl. A short indian man who only wants blondes. That kind.

Once a man has experienced variety it would be very hard, almost impossible, to transition to being stuck to just one woman. He not only loses the variety, but also the thrill of the chase. He might THINK he could give it up, but if she spends enough time in a relationship, he WILL get bored and cheat or leave. Also, if a man had the ability to be with a high number of women, why would he agree to settle down to just one? That seems awfully suspicious to me. Usually men commit to one women solel…

Men no longer need a good stabke job to fuck sluts, And women no longer need to be dependent upon men. Women can have a job and support themselves now. Many women make more money than men do and so seeking support from a man would be a mistake. Men don't have much to offer any more. You're right the men "built" civilization. Or rather, a few smart and wealthy men planned and designed it, and then their male slaves and low wage workers did all the work without doing any of the intellectual though…

That's a very interesting linguistic lesson, however it doesn't really relate to why society sees males sleeping around as positive and women doing the same as negative. Humans are not horses and not all sex leads to births.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/16 08:32 PM

Yes, it's the space for their debate, and yours. Then why did you say I was invading "their" space? They're free to say what they want here and so am I. So why am I the invader and not them? TRP has a fight club rule, which they break by proselytizing on other subreddits and on youtube comments. Then they get pissed if anyone tries to debate them there, too. I guess I'm "invading" youtube, too? Sorry I didn't realize the entire internet was only MGTOWs and TRPers.

It disproves the claim that it is a double standard. No, it's still a double standard. For the few women who call males who sleep around "pigs" there are way more men and women calling them "studs" There is no positive word for a woman who sleeps around, only negative words. Men get both positive and negative words. The thing is men get to have nuance, they get to be positive, they get to be negative, they get to be anything in between. Women aren't afforded the same nuances. They're either an e…

Men not being motivated to build society because they have no stable sexual relationships is the decline. That's men's problem if they can't stay motivated with out "stable sexual relationships" Men want VARIETY, so stable sexual relationships bore them after all. The Coolidge Effect is what I believe it's called. If anything, men should be more motivated now since they have access to a variety of women when before they would be stuck with one woman their entire life.

It's their choice, they have the freedom to do what they want. But MGTOWs need to stop complaining about women who sleep around and how they "destroy society" If women sleeping around makes society "decline" then so does men going their own way. It's both or it's neither. If men don't have to give commitment and resources to women, then why should women give sexual exclusivity to men?

Letting women "fuck freely" isn't "no consequences for any actions" and "anyone can do anything" There are consequences for things that DESERVE consequences like actual crimes. So men shouldn't base their lives around remaining productive but women SHOULD base their sex lives around making sure you and other men don't develop a cuckolding fetish? How do you know they judge her if they say they don't? They admit it anonymously online. Or eventually admit it in nondirect ways after a long conversation. Lots of women call men who have a high partner count "pigs". Very true. And that's also wrong. BOTH men and women should stop criticizing each other for sex. "But women do it too!!!!" isn't an excuse for what men do. After all, as TRP says, "Men and women are different" so why should what women do, too, have any bearing on men?

Because shaming should be reserved for stuff that actually hurts people. A woman having sex with a bunch of guys isn't hurting anyone (unless she is raping them). Why shame for that? Murder should be shamed. Child molestation should be shamed. Rape should be shamed. False rape accusations should be shamed. But a woman sleeping around? Really? Why put that on the same level as criminal behavior?

NO. The opposite, actually. I'm saying that you can call someone unattractive without saying they're of poor character. Someone can be hideous and have good character. Someone can be beautiful and have poor character. Character is unrelated to attractiveness. THAT is my point. So why make a value judgement, like "this woman should be ashamed" instead of saying "I'm not attracted to this woman" or "this woman is unattractive to me"?

These examples are all very tame. TRP usually says things like: "She's a fucking cumdumpster" "Dirty whore" "Slut" "She should feel guilty for sleeping around/being a whore" "AWALT, and all women are whores!" (And that Napoleon quote they love about "all women are whores, except my mother, out of respect") etc. THAT is slutshaming. A man refusing to date a high n-count woman isn't slutshaming. But men and society calling a woman names, harassing her, and publicly humiliating her IS slut-shaming.

It's a more a rhetorical question to expose how women can never win no matter what. Stay virginal--she gets called a prude, and she doesn't enjoy herself. Sleep around--she gets called a slut and can't get a relationship. Sex in LTR--still increases her partner count and when he inevitably leaves her because he gets bored of sleeping with the same woman, she has an increased n-count and lowered value. Women can never win.

Very true. Still, I have seen cases where self-sufficient adult women are being controlled/harassed by their parents, usually about sex. Some had to completely cut off their relationship with their parents, all because they wanted to have sex and their parents would not accept it.

You want her to be happy, and make good choices, but you know the nature of women is to pick the guy that is not good for her How come then, when a girl/woman chooses a good quality guy, the father is still not happy?

all the filthy, depraved thoughts that he had, and continues to have, about attractive women, and bridles at the thought of his sweet little girl being the object of similar thoughts. Why is that so wrong though? Why is sex so horrible that thoughts about it are "filthy" and "depraved"? And what if the daughter likes having men/a man think of her that way? What if she has thoughts of her own that are "filthy" and "depraved" as you describe them?

Why is it a father's place to decide whether an adult daughter has casual sex, though? I get it when the girl is underage, but once she's an adult, why is it her parents' business?

Yeah, mostly online. But I've heard it IRL, too. Back in high school, when I had a bf, my dad and brothers weren't happy about it. I've also had female friends with similar experiences and they're adults whose fathers and other male family members still aren't okay with them dating.

he wants her to be happy and find someone who won’t fuck her life up, but on the other hand he knows he’s going to really hate the idea of her having a boyfriend. Why should a father hate the idea of his daughter having a boyfriend? I'm trying to understand why there is such a visceral reaction of anger and disgust when it comes to a daughter dating and enjoying her life, including sex. Brothers and sisters are a bit different - if the brother’s a massive prick then it’s an issue. Why is it even…

It's a question because men often don't want their female relatives to have sex and complain about it if they do. Yeah the wife/gf angle would be interesting, too.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/16 07:02 PM

if someone you care about is involved in something that disgusts you, you can forgive them and feel sorry for them if they were forced/it was an accident. it's harder to feel quite the same way when that person actively chooses to do things that disgust you. Exactly, that was my point. I'm constantly seeing questions on AskTRP like "Help, my sister is a slut!" or "How do I make sure my daughter doesn't become a slut?"

Worse for the male relative of the woman, like his opinion of his female relative and his emotions about the situation.

Sometimes guys say they want their daughters/sisters locked in a nunnery or don't want them to ever have sex. So I was wondering if they'd be more okay with their female relative having consensual sex or being raped. I'm glad to see it's not actually that extreme.

It would be a catcall because it's shouting. Shouting at a random person is rude. So what separates the two is whether it is shouted or spoke, and whether the guy approaches the girl or yells from afar.

Yes it is considered ugly by most men. If it was considered beautiful, then dark skinned women would get the same attention as light skinned women. They don't. Even dark skinned men prefer light skinned women. I'm not knocking them for their preference, everyone has a right to be attracted to what they're attracted to. I'm just stating a reality.

Well, it's more than 20% but I am by no means judging ALL black men or ALL men by the actions of catcallers. Men of all ages and races catcall, but not all men do. As a black woman, I'm judged negatively for all the negative stereotypes towards black women. I'm not about to do the same to black men, or any group, no matter how terribly they all treat me.

Not true for me at least. At some point, I always develop a crush on my male friends. That's one of the reason I've stopped having male friends. It's annoying to keep having feelings for guys who only see me as a friend. That's why I have empathy for guys that this happens to. However, I don't demand that these friends date me, claim they're friendzoning me, and get angry about it. So I don't have empathy for people do who do that.

Looks DO matter. But so does age. Age probably matters more than looks. Many people would rather date an unattractive person in their age-range, than an attractive person 25 years older. Like a sorority girl would probably rather date a 20 year old 5 than a 80 year old 10--except in the case of gold-digging.

I'm talking about this: There is a pretty woman. Two men approach her in the exact same manner. One man she is attracted to, the other man she is not attracted to. When the one she is attracted to approaches, she is flattered and receptive. When the one she is not attracted to approaches, she is turned off and creeped out. As a result, the one she is not attracted to gets offended and mad. Is that justified?

/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/16 06:50 PM

I agree, however, catcalling isn't a genuine attempt to hit on someone. Shouting a random comment from across the street isn't the same as approaching a girl, even if both approaching and catcalling are the same sexual comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/16 03:26 PM
1

That's an age thing, though. Grandads could get laid with women they're age, especially since there are more women than men at that age, so men are in high demand.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/16 03:22 PM
-1

Alright, I'll accept that. I would list it like this: 1.) confidence 2.) status/money 3.) height 4.) body 5.) facial looks. So basically height, body, and face are all part of looks, but those are behind confidence and status. But I'm sure different girls put different emphasis on different things.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/16 03:09 PM
8

I agree. To me, a 'catcall' is a stranger shouting something to a woman on the street, usually vulgar, but sometimes something deceptively 'nice', like "hey, beautiful, god bless you" but in a tone of voice that suggests that he isn't thinking about god. The reason I put catcalling into this question is because men constantly bring it up, saying it's "just a compliment" when it obviously isn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/16 03:04 PM

Unfortunately, a lot of people do catcall. Especially in cities and 'ghetto' areas. It's usually ugly guys doing it, too.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/16 02:57 PM

True. Most of a man's attractiveness has nothing to do with his looks, in my opinion, and more to do with his social skills and confidence.

Even if men do have higher sex drives, it doesn't mean they'll lose all self control and rape someone or molest a child. If that were true, what would that say about men, the rational, logical sex? Male babysitters are fine. They might even be the better option for boy children.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/16 10:14 PM

Most people have been bullied in their lifetimes. Low SMV, average SMV, even high SMV. It really sucks to be bullied/talked badly about. I know what it feels like since I've been bullied by girls and guys my entire life so I can empathize with you. But those girls were just bullies. They don't represent all women. 99% of women on the planet don't hate you and aren't disgusted by you.

No. NO ONE, male or female, has the right to be a shitty person. There is NO excuse for being an asshole, regardless of what you've experience or whatever other factors. Yes, it is more dangerous to be a woman in the case of rejection. No, that doesn't mean a woman has the right to be rude.

Idk, one girl posted to FA Women saying she had been chatting online with an FA man and he ghosted her. Sure, fat girls can lose weight...so can fat guys. So why aren't fat guys willing to date fat girls? If a man is TRULY desparate enough to be FA then he should be willing to data ANY girl, including a girl with kids, a girl who is fat, a girl who is black, etc. If he rejects any of the above, he's not truly FA. Just "ForeverAlone--(because my standards are above my SMV).
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 09:51 PM

Fine, then. TO ME Guys looks aren't really important. Confidence, social skills, status, money, are way more important to how attracted a woman is to a man. I can't speak for any other girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 09:23 PM

Why do people like to mock fat people? Black people? Sluts? -insert whatever category here- There are subreddits and websites devoted to hating any and every kind of person imaginable. I've actually lurked FAWomen. Some of them have been rejected by FAmen. Beta men want hot girls. Even though they're beta, they're still attracted to the most attractive women. Same as ugly women are still attracted to the most attractive men. Most FA and beta wouldn't date a fat girl, a girl with kids, a black girl, or a woman over 30, or a combination of all those types. Same as most non FA and beta men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 09:13 PM

Why would a man keep the panties of the woman who raped him in his pocket? Men do get raped by women. But most of them probably wouldn't keep a souvenir. It's not like women who get raped keep the underwear of the men who rape them.

Those first two women were above average. Like 6s, even 7s.

Did I say they were the ONLY people who matter? No, I just said they matter, just like everyone else does. Betas, Alphas, ugly girls, pretty girls, they all matter. They don't have to matter to YOU or me specifically, but overall they matter as human beings. Just because beta's aren't meant to reproduce, doesn't mean they don't matter. Perhaps genetic modification will change society, but this will happen gradually and not drastically within our lifetime.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 06:00 PM

I agree, it's the opposite. If someone is average a decent amount of people WILL find them cute. I don't have a 1-10 scale, I have a YES or NO scale. So any guy that's cute to super handsome is a YES.

Idk...this is hard to do. I googled "average guy" and all the guys looked attractive. Not drop dead hot or anything (though some of them actually were) but not undateable. Guys looks aren't really important. Confidence, social skills, status, money, are way more important to how attracted a woman is to a man. A better question would be what kind of job, confidence level, income, etc would an average guy at each age have?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 04:08 PM

20 and 30 were cute, though...
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 04:04 PM

Well it means something for the ugly/overweight women and for the attractive women sleeping with chads. They may not mean anything to you, and there is no obligation that they do, but it does add meaning overall in the context of this conversation. I can't just say "I don't care about betas, therefore their pain doesn't matter." even if I personally don't care about betas. Betas matter whether they matter to me personally or not. Same with ugly women and women pining after Chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 04:02 PM

It's also more fun than being called a slut/whore/thot for rejecting a guy out right, so that's another benefit, as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 04:00 PM

Is there no middle ground between straight forward rejection and leading him on? Whatever happened to letting someone down gently?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 03:22 AM
2

I would disagree. Men don't want women to be straight forward with rejection. When women reject men straight forwardly, men react with anger. Anger means that they don't like being rejected in a straight forward way.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 03:18 AM
3

Guys would prefer women to be more straightforward. Where ever did you get this idea? When a girl rejects a guy, often a guy will say something along the lines of "fuck you, slut, you're ugly anyway." Don't believe me? Check r/creepypms Of course, it's not every guy saying that, but there are enough guys who react that way to rejection and women have experienced it enough to be afraid to be "straight forward" when rejecting a guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 01:43 AM
4

We do know that women don't like it. There's always posts on female subs about some woman or girl wondering why the guy she does everything for, and/or is sleeping with, won't love her back. It's as common as the other way around (minus the sleeping with part).
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/16 01:42 AM

Yes, this is true. Guys do the exact same thing. It's called "beta orbiting" by TRP. People embarrass and debase themselves when they're in love (or in lust). They'll allow themselves to be used and even abused and humiliated by the object of their affections.

It's completely valid for a man to decide for himself when and IF he is ever going to commit to a woman. HOWEVER if he does want commitment from a woman, he shouldn't be surprised if the ones who haven't had ONS or FWBs aren't interested in a man who has refused to commit to previous partners, slept with prostitutes, or had sex with a sex robot. The best predicter of future behavior is past behavior. Just like TRP advises against wifing up sluts, most women know that if a man has slept around in…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/16 11:47 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/16 11:36 PM

I tend to agree. Men who prefer sexbots, prostitutes, or ONS/FWBs to LTRs with women (and that is a valid choice to make) shouldn't also demand that women be subservient, submissive, and feminine. What value do they offer to traditional women when they don't want traditional relationships? SOME (not all) men don't want women to work outside the home but at the same time don't want to support women or pay for dates. Can't have it both ways.

As a woman, I think men should be able to opt out of parenting, too. If a man doesn't want to be a parent, he should be able to sign a form saying he will have no contact with the child and that he will pay no child support for the child. HOWEVER... If a man actively attempts to get a woman pregnant and acts like he wants the child for 3 months (after which abortion is no longer an option) then abandons the pregnant mother and child, he SHOULD have to pay child support. Simply being hot as a woman is automatic high status for that woman. Hot women are showered with attention, praise, gifts, etc. Some hot women are just super high status, like models and celebrities. All a guy has to do to find a hot woman is go to a mall, bar, night club, or college. There's no excuse for not knowing a hot woman. If that were true, there would be Asian, African and Latin American countries with 0 birthrate since nonwhite guys can't find anyone attracted to them. Yet those countries and races have population explosions.

hotness isnt hierarchical How is hotness NOT hierarchical? Hotter girls are ranked high (8s,9s,10s) and treated better, uglier girls are rated lower and treated worse. That seems like a hierarchy to me. Furthermore, there are hot girls who aren't models. Model is a high status job for a woman (one of the few high status jobs for a woman, actually). The men chose to send dick pics to a high status hot girl, a model, instead of just a random hot girl who didn't have a high status job. So, they cho…

I have seen examples of both. There is actually at least one example of the former in this thread.

Even if a man goes from beta to alpha, he can't get back all the money and time he wasted on women. Those were resources he could have used to improve himself and now they're gone. A "natural" alpha is always going to be a cut above a beta turned alpha for that reason. And most betas are never truly able to become alpha.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/16 01:10 AM

It also works in favor of the alphas that ditch their kids. Those alphas have their DNA passed on and surviving due to betas raising their children to adulthood.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/16 04:47 PM
1

That make sense, but in a way it argues in favor of AFBB. Since in order for the Alpha male's 'spread seed' method of reproduction to work, betas have to pick up the slack of providing for his children.

Plate spinning is still an option even when there is AFBB. The guys who are able to spin plates do so despite the existence of AFBB because they are the AF.

Sluts and betas were both told lies by society. Betas were told "be nice to a girl and she'll love you", sluts were told "fuck around and then settle down." Why are only men deserving of help after being lied to their entire lives?

What I mean by "bother" is men who post rants online about how slutty women are, or women who posts rants like "where have all the good men gone?"

"If the husband must be faithful, he is sacrificing his optimal sexual strategy to hers" But is it truly the man's optimal sexual strategy to be unfaithful? What is the point of getting other women pregnant and not supporting them? In nature, those children would have likely died, anyway, so genes would not have been passed on that way. Sleeping around while married isn't a man's optimal sexual strategy anymore than AFBB is for a woman.

let's not go introducing the word "entitled" here. That's basically what it is, though. A return to the old system of marriage means that basically everyone is entitled to a spouse due to societal expectations. "The point is that it was more likely for partners of equal SMV to partner up, under the old system." Equal SMV is low SMV in the case of many betas. Most fat, short, poor betas of low SMV are still attracted to hot, skinny, young girls. Would low SMV betas really be satisfied being marri…

'm defining hypergamy as the physical act of a woman sleeping with a man of higher SMV, not the desire. Okay. Yeah, behavior can be changed. Biological drives are much more difficult. I can't argue with that. What I will say though is Japan is a country without much violence. Though correlation doesn't equal causation, men being less thirsty seems to be correlated with less violence and crime.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/16 04:01 AM

I can partially accept that. However, I recently talked to /u/oldred (i think that was his name) on this thread and he said even though he spins plates, slutty women still bother him. So sometimes--maybe even many times--men who spin plates can't help but hate sluts even though they benefit from them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/16 03:59 AM

What I mean by society celebrating "beta" men is that men are respected more in society if they are married. That's not to say that all married men are beta, though. TRP are the only ones that shame betas, and half the time they don't shame them, they just feel sorry for them and argue on their behalf. When in fact, TRP should shame betas as hard as they shame sluts, after all orbiters and sluts are the same thing by their very own description.

AB isn't impossible, it's just rare. Donald Trump would be an example, he's married and rich and not beta. (I'm not a fan of him, I'm just using him as an example). Committing to and providing for a woman doesn't automatically turn a man into a beta. If he is high value enough that the woman respects him and fears the loss of his commitment, then he can be AF. Here's a scenario where everyone's needs can be met. A rich alpha guy and his hot, faithful wife. Both members of the couple get what the…

In the key-lock analogy, sluts should be shamed by society for giving sex too easily. By that logic, betas should be shamed by society for giving commitment too easily. They are not, and in fact are celebrated. So why are promiscuous women shamed but beta men celebrated? Furthermore, why are the alphas who enjoy sex with sluts the ones doing the slut-shaming? Shouldn't they be celebrating it because they get NSA sex from it? Beta guys actually seem to be more okay with promiscuous women than the…

Why is following a biological imperative "negative or fucked up", though? Men are just doing what they're programmed to do and women are just doing what they're programmed to do. They shouldn't get mad and hate each other for it.

Not wanting to commit to sluts doesn't mean they have to hate sluts, though. Yet there is so much hate for sluts. I don't want to date/commit to women, but I don't hate women. I don't even want to date/commit to Alpha guys, but I don't hate them. I just don't understand why there is so much hate towards women who sleep around by the very men who sleep around with them. "Why not sterilize the women?" That was one of the options I gave. Personally, I believe anyone (male or female) who has children they cannot afford should be sterilized. I realize that this is an extreme view, though, so will never happen. The point of sterilization is because some women refuse to use Plan B and abortion, and some states refuse to allow women to use these options or make it impossible for the women who need them most (poor women) to afford them. Well, at least you're honest. If women's behavior should be restricted to benefit society, overall, should men's behavior also be restricted to benefit society as well? Not necessarily in the same way. For example: It's detrimental to society when guys impregnate multiple women and don't support their children. Currently, nothing is done to stop men or women who participate in babymama culture. One way to stop this would be to sterilize those men, another way would be to sterilize the women. A t…

But why is every man entitled to an adolescent virgin of equal SMV, anyway? Even in the days of old marriage, not every man got married and not every man who did get married got a teen virgin of equal SMV. Old marriage wasn't perfect. True. But women's tastes also very. The idea that most/all women are all attracted to the same type of guy is false. I think it's way overstated the amount of beta guys there are and way understated the amount of ugly women there are. I think it's more of a top 50% of guys are alpha, bottom 50% are beta. Too many men have gfs/wives who are faithful to them for 80% of guys to be so beta they're being cucked. Plus, beta guys can always improve and become alpha. Ugly women have no way to improve.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/16 05:26 PM

Not necessarily. A woman can sleep with a bunch of alphas, and then marry a beta. The alphas can spin plates and not get married. Those two things don't have to contradict because some men are alpha and some men are beta. Both pretty women and alpha men can achieve their imperative without sabotaging the other. It's the betas and ugly women who get the short end of the stick, but that is nature.

True, but they could go for older guys, too. Which is what I don't understand. Why don't they? There are lots of handsome 40 and 50 year old men. If I'm not married by 30, that's who I would go for. In fact, I've been attracted to older guys since I was 11 (though never acted on it, of course). I always thought most/all girls were, but apparently not... I like nerdy guys. Like the smart kind, not the basement dweller kind. For some reason when a man shows how smart he is (like solves a math problem in his head, knows a lot about history/politics/science) I think that's really hot. Probably because it subconsciously indicates success and competence, which in turn indicates money, though that's just a guess on my part. What kind of guys would be okay with shorter hair? What kind would be okay with fake hair?
