| -4 | Women have problems. Men are problems.I don't think the part that poses the idea that 'toxic masculinity' should be called 'internalised misandry' makes much sense. These standards of strength and dominance actually rise out of traditional gender roles. The 1950s typical nuclear family ideal assigns women to being quiet and meek housewives and men to being strong, unemotional providers. Isn't this just another way the patriarchy harms men as well?
