If person A is constantly calling, texting, thinking about, relying on, feeling lonely without and craving the affection/attention of person B, person A has oneitis, whether he/she is married to person B, or stalking them, or somewhere between. The negative impact it has on your life is mostly dictated by how workable it is in the current relationship. So no relationship with the girl = desires not workable.
