Any business has stakeholders: the people who rely on the business for their financial security, the community it serves, and its clientele, and in this instance, "Ladies Night" serves them well. The rest is just marketing, whether the club buys its own shtick or not.

Regardless of the gender pay gap being debunked, I'm sure you can agree this is a business setting prices in accordance with the interests of its stakeholders, right?

So you're saying this was a business decision?

Insightful and understandably incisive. Thank you for sharing, posts like this are why I'm on this sub.

Totally disregarding the women in the MRA community. Why are you even here?

You are literally projecting your inability to admit you're wrong onto an entire gender. Are you trolling?

Except that this isn't always true... Forgetting the phrase "shit test", she might not actually have a boyfriend and just be trying to see if his interest in her is anything beyond sexual. She might also be interested in hooking up or trading up, regardless of her dating status. OP's reaction was probably best practice, either way.

I just wanted to say: you did the right thing, and I'm happy that you had the courage to get out of an abusive situation. And make no mistake- that it abuse. Use that word when you describe the situation, because that's exactly what it was. Don't look back, and keep your head up, man. Life goes on, and it gets better.

+1 for talking to girls. I'd also suggest getting involved with campus life through a school club or group. This is especially effective/fun if you're doing something that requires approaching strangers to raise awareness or funds- you have the perfect excuse to work on your day game with any girl that walks by.

This is excellent advice, but I think it's important to manage your interactions as well. Be the one to end your interactions, and make sure you aren't attaching yourself to a girl before she's leaving the club with you. Don't forget- you are at the bar/club to have fun first, last and foremost. If your goal is just getting laid, see a hooker.

I appreciate that you're looking to help a fellow redditor, and I'm glad herbal supplements help you with your restlessness, but I cannot stress enough that anyone struggling with anxiety or depression should seek some kind of professional help- especially with our society's tendency to minimize, dismiss and stigmatize mental illness among men. I'm going to step off my soapbox and stop derailing the thread now; PM me if you wanted to keep discussing this.

Then I'm sure you'd agree that internet advice is no substitute for a proper medical treatment.

Don't waste your time and energy wondering- ask her out! At the very least, it'll take some of the guesswork out of your day.

Not to knock homeopathy, water, or the power of suggestion, but if you're looking to medicate yourself it really is best done with professional medical guidance.

Don't use excuses to ask her if she'd like to hang out, and don't ask her to hang out if you'd like a date. You're going to get a lot further with women by simply being honest about who you are and what you want than you will by playing games. So, back the push/pull- once you have her attention, be the one to end the conversation- "Hey, I should really get going, but I'd love to take you out for coffee/dinner/ritual goat sacrifice- Can I get your number before I go?" The constraint on your time/…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
